After years of talking about the Rights new Fascist America I am stunned to hear the Hypocrites accuse Obama of wanting Marxism!

Obama accused of what Bush already did! A Republican congressman from Georgia said Monday he fears that President-elect Obama will establish a Gestapo-like security force to impose a Marxist dictatorship. "It may sound a bit crazy and off base, but the thing is, he's the one who proposed this national security force," Rep. Paul Broun said of Obama in an interview Monday with The Associated Press. "I'm just trying to bring attention to the fact that we may — may not, I hope not — but we may have a problem with that type of philosophy of radical socialism or Marxism." Broun cited a July speech by Obama that has circulated on the Internet in which the then-Democratic presidential candidate called for a civilian force to take some of the national security burden off the military. "I am sorry but I do not see anything wrong with that do you?
"That's exactly what Hitler did in Nazi Germany and it's exactly what the Soviet Union did," Broun said. "When he's proposing to have a national security force that's answering to him, that is as strong as the U.S. military, he's showing me signs of being Marxist."has not Bush already done that? What about private security? What about Bush's socialization of America? What about Bush's Fascist party? What about Bush's Nazification of America? Anyway "That's exactly what Hitler did in Nazi Germany and it's exactly what the Soviet Union did," Broun said. "When he's proposing to have a national security force that's answering to him, that is as strong as the U.S. military, he's showing me signs of being Marxist." WTF don't we have that? Obama's idea endorsed by Bush: The Obama transition team declined to comment on Broun's remarks. But spokesman Tommy Vietor said Obama was referring in the speech to a proposal for a civilian reserve corps that could handle postwar reconstruction efforts such as rebuilding infrastructure — an idea endorsed by the Bush administration.

I just do not get it! Broun said he believes Obama would move to ban gun ownership if he does build a national security force. Obama has said he respects the Second Amendment right to bear arms and favors "common sense" gun laws. Gun rights advocates interpret that as meaning he'll at least enact curbs on ownership of assault weapons and concealed weapons. As an Illinois state lawmaker, Obama supported a ban on semiautomatic weapons and tighter restrictions on firearms generally. Makes sense to me and I am an advocate of the right to bear arms! "We can't be lulled into complacency," Broun said. "You have to remember that Adolf Hitler was elected in a democratic Germany. I'm not comparing him to Adolf Hitler. What I'm saying is there is the potential of going down that road." WTF? Bush already has us there and Obama's goal is to bring us back to a Democracy with a functioning Constitution!

Obama's comments about a national security force came during a speech in Colorado in which he called for expanding the nation's foreign service. We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set," Obama said in July. "We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded." Obama accused of wanting what Bush already did

We have beat this to death in regard to what Bush has done and to no avail! Remember Now I want to relist the 10 steps listed to end a Democracy as they pertain to us and you will agree.

1. Invoke a terrifying internal and external enemy. The enemy is us! After 9/11 the Patriot act was passed, fear constantly pressed on us and Bush started his power grab.
2. Create a gulag . Once you have got everyone scared, the next step is to create a prison system outside the rule of law, FEMA Concentration camps!
3. Develop a thug caste: Blackwater and private security even at times various Governmental agencies.
4. Set up an internal surveillance system
5. Harass citizens' groups
6. Engage in arbitrary detention and release
7. Target key individuals: Threaten civil servants
8. Control the press
9. Dissent equals treason: We know only Bushco can commit treason as they set up their new America
10. Suspend the rule of law: The John Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2007 gave the president new powers over the national guard. He can now send New York's national guard against another State if "He" deems necessary!

Remember the 14 common threads of Fascism: keep the entire world in mind but particularly how everyone of them applies in America today. This is scary!

* 1. Powerful and continuing expressions of nationalism. Bingo!

* 2. Disdain for the importance of human rights. Bingo!

* 3. Identification of enemies/scapegoats as a unifying cause. Bingo!

* 4. The supremacy of the military/avid militarism. Bingo!

* 5. Rampant sexism. Bingo, Bingo, Bingo!

* 6. A controlled mass media. Bingo!

* 7. Obsession with national security. Bingo!

* 8. Religion and ruling elite tied together. Bingo!*

9. Power of corporations protected. Bingo!

* 10. Power of labor suppressed or eliminated. Bingo!

* 11. Disdain and suppression of intellectuals and the arts. Bingo! (at the link read how it does apply)

* 12. Obsession with crime and punishment. Bingo!

* 13. Rampant cronyism and corruption. Bingo!

* 14. Fraudulent elections. Bingo!*

They worry about Obama and Marxism Even more frightening is a collection of news articles dating from the start of the Bush presidency divided into topics relating to each of the 14 points of fascism including proof in pictures.Blow by blow examples in pictures of American Fascism under Bush! The Hypocrisy will never end!

I'm in wait and see mode, Jim.

Obama started out as a maverick and idealist in the Senate, but as his term wore on, he increasingly sided with Bush, and voted for anti-constitutional legislation.

Now he's picking up staff members who have been giving speeches about how Americans are domestic terrorists, and the need for a war with Iran.

He is for the bailouts and now he continues to support the Telecom Immunity Bill and domestic spying.

The only thing I don't know is whether he believes in the Patriot Act. The folks he is considering for cabinet posts love the Patriot Act, so I think it's unlikely he'll ask to have it overturned. The secret gulags will remain.

I fear that his maverick days were a negotiation phase.

My keyphrase to post is 'prioner'. Odd.

We'll see when he gets into office where he really stands.

One thing for sure the brown shirts in the senate will be playing the same old games. Along with the media every attempt to discredit his ideas will be made so that in the end chances are good legislation passed will be compromised because unless the dems have learned to fight they will continue to accept what the right gives them.

Could it be that the South is feeling marginalized and becoming openly hostile towards the North now that it appears that the Southern influence on national politics is petering out? If you have a part of the country objecting to national military supremacy of a certain area, then we're playing an entirely different ball game altogether.

I am still hoping he is genuine and will do the right thing for average Americans! Beyond that he has a lot of appeasing to do and Bush set events in motion here and around the world that he will have no choice but to eact to!
I was just looking at a storyline for tomorrow and it seems Russia also feels nothing will change under Obama world wise so?

Thanks Linda!
I have not been there for a while but I will go back! Fascist America is well on its way and McPalin was scheduled to further it. What happens now I do not know?

It will not be easy for him and he will be fought every step of the way! I believe he will do the right thing for average Americans and our America but will be fored to appease aspects of Bush's new version and will be forced also by events Bush has already set in motion but that is for tomorrow! Take care, stay in touch!

You could be right! I thought they as southern leaders anyway were okay with Nationalism and militarism! I was pretty surprised that they even went for a black President. With the south though as well as all America I do not see much change or changing but I do fear Fascist America and I see the South playing a large roll in that!

When I read what this Broun idiot was saying, I kept thinking, WHO is he talking about? Sounded to me like his rant applied to Bush not Obama. I envision the civilian corps Obama is pushing to be similar to the CCC under FDR, doing good public works projects all around the country. Those old CCC trails are still in use in some of the national parks I've hiked. Could such a civilian corp be misused? You betcha. That's why we need a leader we can trust.

I just think all these losers like Broun are hunting for a charge that they can hang Obama with, right from the start, much the same as they did with Bill C. So they will fling out this & that & see what sticks. I see the hand of Karl Rove guided by the hand of Lee Atwater.

Exacly! The hypocrisy never ceases! The right will continue to lie and try to scare the public as usual. You know for a fact Bush has already done what Broun said. I saw today that he rescinded what he said but too late he already said it! Obama really has his work cut out for him.
The one satisfaction I have moving in to the future is that at least Obama will do the right thing for average Americans and our America "If" given the chance!

personally, i think the bush years have created signif psychological trauma for all of us. post-traumatic stress disorder. i'm trying to re-connect with the difference btwn healthy skepticism and cynicism. my own "recovery" efforts to heal from the bush years will focus on being careful about "contempt prior to investigation". one thing i feel at least a little bit of certainty about is that, unlike Bush/Cheney, Obama/Biden will not resemble Hitler/Gestapo.
Obama's determination to close Gitmo is terrific as a starter. (now if only he could get California to re-consider prop 8).

I agree 100% We have the Fascist right out of office almost but they will not go away period!
I was listening to the scums Limbaugh Hannity and others earlier and I couldn't believe it. They are majorly after Obama and very ignorant and he is not even President yet.

They claim Obama wants a Gestapo. I can't believe it, Bush already has one! This is going to be bad!

It is not funny but it is funny you mentioned PTSD! I just had a 2 hour conversation with the son I am flying to Florida to drive back to Massachusetts with!

one of my sons that just got back from Iraq has been in and out of combat for many years. Anyway I suspected he had PTSD before this tour in Iraq but he laughs it off.

Anyway he told Bill he has it but he will not tell them and if Obama tries to take his guns he will kill someone. He was a major trigger before all these tours.
He's EOD and one of the guys doing body parts and told another son some wild stories but he has not opened up to me yet.
His wife finds him under the bed a lot at night covering from mortar attacks. Oh man!

Sorry to hear that Jim. Another of the tens of thousands of reasons why these people need to be held accountable.

jmsjoin said...

Hi one fly
He was talking to me when he was in Afghanistan and I knew he had it then. He lied to the Doctor so he could go to Iraq! He is hard core and take charge. Always ends up taking control! He just got okayed for a Bronze star but he says he doesn't deserve it. I know he does!

D.K. Raed said...

JIm the very sad thing about it all is if your son were to finally seek vet help for PTSD, they would first try everyway they could to say it's not their problem, that it's a pre-existing condition. It takes a lot of guts to go into your CO & ask for PTSD counseling because of the way you get treated. I hope your son finds a path toward healing.

It is a hard thing! He does not want to think he has weaknesses as he is a leader or sacrifice his career! I just had a very long reply completed and the computer shut down, Damn! I would like to continue this conversation if you want. Take care!
