Bush works for God! Iraq study Group,Gates Kofi, No one on earth matters to him....

He thinks he is doing Gods work in the middle east and nothing will make him change the course of new middle east order he thinks God wants him to create but it will fail!
First I have to say NATO did not choose to fail in Afghanistan as this story says.
http://www.time.com/...
Bush did because he stupidly diverted soldiers and equipment needed there to fight a lost cause in Iraq.
Secondly The Senate Armed Services Committee unanimously approved President Bush's defense secretary nomination Tuesday and sent it to the full Senate for approval, the committee's outgoing chairman said. It is worth nothing!

Robert Gates testified before the committee for hours Tuesday, telling members that the United States was not winning the war in Iraq, and that the U.S. course there "over the next year or two" would shape the entire Middle East.
At his Senate confirmation hearing, Robert Gates gave no timeline for ending the conflict in Iraq, but he repeatedly referenced "the next year or two" when discussing U.S. options in the war-torn nation.

Our course over the next year or two will determine whether the American and Iraqi people and the next president of the United States will face a slowly but steadily improving situation in Iraq and in the region or will face the very real risk and possible reality of a regional conflagration," he said Developments in Iraq during that time will "greatly influence global geopolitics for many years to come," he said. http://www.cnn.com/...

No shit! I have posted so many times on the fact that Bush guaranteed the loss of Afghanistan, Iraq, and the entire middle east when he diverted from the so called war on terror in Afghanistan and attacked Iraq not to fight terror but to create terror in order to destabilize the middle east and set up his and Israel's version of a new middle east order that will fail as this is still just getting started and will get a lot worse as this conflagration continues to rage on unabated. Nothing anyone says here or anywhere can stop this now!

I am struck by 2 things Gates said! Most striking is that he is of the mistaken misnomer that regional conflagration can be prevented or controlled. It can not! It is underway, out of control, and will rage on as I said, unabated.
What hit me the hardest is the fact that regardless of the facade of change and cooperation Bush is again putting forth. He plans on staying the course killing our soldiers needlessly in his failed endeavor and leave it for the next "Democratic" President to take the hit for and clean up his mess.what is going to happen in the middle east can no longer be stopped or changed by external intervention. Why can't they wake up to that?

In closing, I heard this morning that Gates said we are not winning in Iraq then after confirmation was announced he said we are not losing either. Standard doublespeak! I heard a Woman say the right thing this morning! Her son was killed in Iraq in 04. When asked what she thought about Bush taking the Iraq study Groups recommendations into account.

She said he would before he ignored it and do what he wants because he is the only one that matters or knows anything. As you know, I have to agree but just add that that is because God told him to do it as you may remember!
