In light of the fascist Republican takeover during the last election and the frightening attitude of Senator John Boehner, Eric Cantor and Senator Mcconnell I thought it frightening that they were saying do what we want or else so I thought it appropriate to reprint a pictorial I put together last time Republicans were in control. This is not good and nothing has changed but only got much worse! We are in trouble.

Afghan president condemns NATO drug raid carried out by United States and Russia without his permission: Great, they were probably his!

The raid netted more than a ton of heroin and morphine worth $US250 million ($256.1 million), as well as equipment, Viktor Ivanov was quoted by the Interfax news agency as saying.The report said Afghan interior ministry officials had been involved in the operation. This is huge and in the past Russia frequently criticized what it describes as the inadequate anti-drug policies of United States and NATO forces in Afghanistan, leading to an increased flow of drugs into Russia through Central Asia. I think this was great and despite Karzai's anger at the raid saying he was not informed and we had no right performing a unilateral attack on drug labs without his permission, this Russian US cooperation was perfect and I love it. Hell Karzai is upset because those drugs and labs most likely were his, his brothers, families and friends. He couldn't warn them and spoil the raid, boo hoo!



Remember discussing this exactly a year ago: It was terrible finding out Ahmed Wali Karzai a brother of Afghan President Hamid Karzai is a CIA agent.It was bad enough knowing he is a Drug Lord and frauded the election for his brother but finding out he is in bed with the CIA raised many questions.Remember the chopper that crashed killing DEA agents returning from a mission? I suspected foul play. I am sure of it as Karzai knew of this in advance and this time he did not. Hmm go figure!

Knowing how illicit Ahmed's activities are I was a bit surprised to find out he has been working with the CIA since day one. Have they been turning their backs on his poppy growing and drug trafficking? In exchange for what? There has certainly been no real accomplishments in Afghanistan since day one despite our soldiers heroic efforts.

Ahmed runs the National Protective Program amongst numerous other things. Ahmed Wali Karzai News - The New York Times Quite interesting! I do not know what you think about Ahmed working for the CIA or "rumors" of him being a Drug Lord but think about this!

First hearing he is a drug lord made me wonder what was being discussed in all the pictures I see of him visiting towns and conversing with tribal leaders. Being a a prominent political figure in the southern region of the country with regular visits makes for a lucrative convenient position in the opium world. I refuse to believe it can be ignored though Ahmed denies any involvement. Yeah like the million rigged ballots he didn't rig.

Okay! Ahmed is a drug lord. Him and his profits are probably helping to fund the war against us. Think about it! It gets worse. While returning from a successful mission searching a compound for drugs the helicopter crashed killing 7 troops and as we now know, 3 DEA agents. In the fight after the crash 12 "insurgents" were killed. 14 Americans die in Afghanistan chopper crashes‎

They were just returning from a successful mission cleaning out opium interests in Ahmed's region. Makes you wonder doesn't it? Poor Karzai's! Go Russia and US cooperation!

This could be the winner as Israel could lease Palestinian lands in exchange for Palestinian statehood

Lack of a peace solution to the Israeli crisis we created keeps being blamed on the Palestinians and I for one am quite sick of it! Israel could lease Palestinian lands in exchange for Palestinian statehood: report I am thinking this can be done after all my apprehension. With Palestine rebuffing Iran, Iran would be the one left out in the cold.


Palestinian refusal to recognize Israel as a Jewish state shows they are not serious about two-state solution. What about Israel's refusal to go back to 1967 borders, to stop building settlements, or to let Palestine have a homeland free of Jews if they want? What about UN resolution 181 established in 1947?

Vice Prime Minister and Strategic Affairs Minister Moshe Ya'alon said that he saw "no chance of reaching a peace deal with the Palestinians in the near future". There is no way in hell ever because neither side really wants it. They want the other subversive, end of discussion.

"In the eyes of Palestinians, the occupation began in '48 and not in '67," Ya'alon told Army Radio. "Not only Hamas thinks this – Abu Mazen [Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas does too." I think that too! I refuse to believe we took it upon ourselves to displace the Palestinians and give their land to the Jews in 1948 because we felt bad for them.

I hate to say it but I agree with Ahmadinejad that if Europe and the US felt so bad about what happened to Jews during WW2 then they should have given them part of their country. If they did we would not be in this situation. There will never be peace in the middle east unless there is an agreement to go back to UN Resolution 181 that was established in 1947.

I reiterate: Palestinians for their part are doing their share for peace but it is futile: They are willing to let Israel control the wailing wall and just want East Jerusalem as their capital but there is no way in hell Israel is going to give that up as they swear it belongs to them. It does not belong to them. They do not want peace unless they get everything they want and they will not. This will only end in war and we will be dragged in. That is why Bush ignored Afghanistan to get into the Middle East. Right from the get go helping Israel against Iran was the goal.

Again I reiterate there will never be peace in the Middle East, period! Only the UN wants it, Israel wants it her way and Iran/Syria want Israel obliterated, period, seems like peace in Palestinian hands and depends on how much they are willing to bend because Israel will not. Israel and Iran have long been in preparation for this confrontation. As you know, when asked by a journalist how he felt upon returning to Iran in 1979 after 15 years in exile. Khomeini’s curt, one-word reply was “nothing” Whoa! From day one of his return to Iran Khomeini expressed no love for Iran only a love of the atom bomb. The drive even then was to possess a nuclear weapon though that desire is still denied until Iran can get their hands on one.

On the other side there is Israel who will give nothing and expects Palestinians to give up everything! I realized a long time ago that Israel is the world's chief war monger and we seem to do their bidding and fighting. If they get into a war with Iran we will end up coming to their rescue regardless of what they do or what Hillary says and that is sad! We should in fact take care of Jewish American's and American's and our interests in Israel and otherwise tell them in no uncertain terms they are on their own if they continue to instigate war not peace and expecting us to come to their rescue.

Bush was elected precisely because he was mindless clueless and could be led and controlled. Russian military could be drawn back into Afghanistan, think about that!

This is old news to me as we discussed this in the past. Supposedly their involvement would be limited to support with no boots on the ground. However that is a start as the Mujahedeen will attack their helicopters and technicians forcing Russia to defend their interests. Do you remember the promise of  Obama and Biden shortly after they were elected to press the reset button with Russia and seek cooperation on the MDS, Nuclear weapons reaction, and cooperation in fighting Al Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan? Missile Defense shield cooperation, nuclear weapon reduction, NATO cooperation, all are a done deal. time to get them and also China and Iran involved in Afghanistan!

Remember early last February: Finally some sense from America! Joint operations with Russia against Al Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan! At the time I was forced to prepare a counter argument for my story on Russia entrapping us in Afghanistan. As you know by now Russia has offered their country as a base for resupply operations into Afghanistan but only on a civilian humanity crisis level.

They proposed that the US and Russia work together to defeat Al Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan. A novel idea! Actual cooperation in the so called war on terror. Then I was pleased to update that long overdue Idea with an offer from Vice President Biden. We had to be trapped into what we should have been doing all along. You know McCain, Bush or anyone other than an Obama Administration still would fight the only obvious answer!

Russia wanting to cooperate in the fight in Afghanistan is another golden opportunity that should not be passed up! As you know, I have 3 of my sons in this mess and I am very concerned as to their future and how they will be abused and misused in the future. I am afraid that Obama as I have said a million times now, has been set up for failure so the right can get back in and finish off us and their war agenda. Obama has had his bed made for him and will have to prosecute many wars like it or not. Coupled with the crisis Bush left him here as to our financial collapse I am increasingly concerned that President Obama is over his head.

He is well intentioned but his success will only happen if he receives cooperation here and around the world. The right is doing their damnedest to see that Obama fails so they can get back into power. It sickens me that the childish Political games continue while the country is allowed to fail. What those asses fail to realize is if Obama fails we fail, America fails, the world fails. The well intentioned moral Obama is the only hope I see for a successful future and the right is doing their damnedest to slim those hopes. Not just Afghanistan and the middle east but here too has me very concerned because of the destruction Bush purposely caused and he calls success!

Anyway now Russian leaders have recently expressed a willingness to cooperate in the fight even as the U.S. military sent an additional 30,000 troops to Afghanistan to try to halt a resurgence of the Taliban. Wait a minute! Cooperate in the fight? How closely? I admit I can be a little slow on the uptake sometimes but I do catch on! Russia regardless of your opinion of them has given us golden opportunities for cooperation and unity in the past. In particular offering to help with the missile defense shield. That would have brought joint cooperation under Bush and would have allowed both sides to watch each other if there was nothing to hide.

This can be another golden opportunity that should not be passed up! Think about it! Eat crow! Suck spit! Swallow your pride! Use a little sense! Talk won't hurt. Feel each other out! We should be cooperating in Afghanistan. What happened to "all nations are at war with terror? All Nation's should do their share? We are not supposed to be there to impress our values but to repress so called Islamist dominance in the name of Al Qaeda and the Taliban.

We watched Russia fail in their war in Afghanistan and we even helped. We are bragging about gains in Iraq that I still refuse to believe are permanent while the war in Afghanistan has only gotten much worse because of Iraq and will continue to get a lot worse! If Russia honestly wants to cooperate in the fight in Afghanistan call them out. Take them up on it! Give them enough rope to hang themselves! This really is a golden opportunity I hope President Obama is smart enough to explore, foster, and cultivate! However it takes two to Tango!

Afghanistan as we know has never been defeated militarily. Russia could not do it and we will not succeed either. Well remember the adage "united we stand divided we fall" I do believe if the real goal is defeating Islamist extremist this can be the perfect opportunity! I do believe if Russia and the US were to join forces in Afghanistan we can put an end to the true statement that Afghanistan has never been successfully defeated militarily. United we can do this and even China can help at least financially. We should truly make this a concerted united effort. This is not a NATO problem, a UN problem, Iranian, Russian, Chinese, etc, this is a world problem and we must unite and act accordingly to persevere!

Last year I started paying attention to the corruption index partly because democracies were not doing so well in it but primarily because every country we were involved in albeit in waror in forcing democracy on were amongst the worst on the list. Last year Afghanistan was next to the bootom on the list 2nd only to Somalia. A year later Afghanistan in the same position is on the bottom with Somalia, Burma, and Iraq. Now that is success! What bothers me about the list is that recent efforts at forcing Democracy on Nations by Bush we know as failure but it is illustrated here. I know corruption has been around since the beginning of society and man. However, with the advent of George W and his corrupt underhanded Government in what he called an example of Democracy to be exported around the world the corruption and stolen power became the new standard.

Bush used what I coined as 3D politics taught by Karl Rove to achieve their goals. (3D politics = Deceitful, deceptive, divisive politics) It seems in every election in every country now we hear cries of fraud and corruption not just here in the US and more visibly in Iran during the June Presidential election. I remember the feeling of shame when GW had the audacity to tell China they should aspire to a US style Democracy seeing our own broadcast daily corruption in what many of us believed was no longer a Democracy. Stealing elections and corruptions is the standard in the world now. The destruction Bush rained on the US and world balance along with the example he set for the world to follow will affect the entire world for generations if not forever. That is why I can not forget what Bush did and people often tell me to get over it. He made sure he will go down in history!

President Obama entered the new political world  by saying he is humbled by the "shellacking" his party took in Tuesday's elections, and that he wants to work with victorious Republicans on the nation's problems. Obama: 'No one party will be able to dictate where we go from here' He better talk to Boehner and Mcconnell!

John Boehner plans an immediate repeal of Health care and what they call a rewrite. Right away they want a continuation of all of Bush's tax cuts including the wealthy and if there is any compromise it is coming from the Democrats as the people have spoken.

They want health care privatized. No average American in their right mind want their health care privatized. If the wealthy do fine them make it voluntary but there will be no compromise only by the Democrats.

Mcconnell forewarned Democrats could pay the price if they don't cooperate with the new Republican agenda. I heard Mcconnell say if there is going to be any compromise it is going to come from the Democrats!

It’s going to be hell! Mcconnell said the people dissed Obama and they are going to do what they want. If there is going to be any compromising it will come from the Democrats. The next two are going to be worse than the first two.

Knowing our many discussions of late as to the ties between the Taliban, the Haqqani's, and elements in the ISI I am very concerned to find out they are in fact keeping elements who want to kill the Haqqani's from doing so and being so open about it so I thought we better discuss the ISI and the Haqqani's once again. These developments are not good! This really bothers me. I am not going to elaborate on the vile nature of Pakistan actively working against anti Taliban factions so I hope you read the link above. That will be denied but it is fact!
Pakistan Seeks Role in Taliban Talks You know for a fact there are those in the ISI who have close ties with the Taliban. You can be damn sure that if we are not smart enough to include Pakistan (where the Taliban live) in talks with the Taliban so they can save face and show and say they played a role, they will make damn sure the talks fail!

I understand Mullah Omar is under control by elements of Pakistan's ISI and not allowed to roam too far. High level Taliban commanders are also being flown by NATO to Kabul in at least one instance and driven from Pakistan by NATO escort to Kabul to have these secret meetings with Hamid Karzai. They are so secret that mid level commanders deny these meetings are happening and vow to fight on period!

I think we are on to something here but it is all dead if we are not smart enough to include Pakistan in these meetings. The Taliban do not have safe haven in Pakistan for nothing. They were invited there and despite what we are told at the top level they are still protected. We are back to the Haqqani's as the key!

I believe the Haqqani's the ISI and maybe China who just built a railroad right through Taliban country are all protecting Bin Laden and nothing will get resolved without Pakistan playing a key role. I firmly believe they could kill the Haqqani's today if they wanted and put an end to this.

As you know, the US is increasingly taking matters into its own hands inside Pakistan. The Haqqani's network and their increasingly foreign fighters have become the main focus after 9 years of fighting. The Haqqani's Network's North Waziristan leadership -- usually called the Miram Shah Shura consists of a number of Haqqani's family members and closely associated long-serving commanders.

At the top of the network is Sirajuddin Haqqani's, who oversees the group's political and military activities and is the main liaison to the Mullah Muhammad Omar led Quetta Shura Taliban, the Taliban's leadership body (named for the capital of Pakistan's Baluchistan province). He is also one of the network's liaisons to Pakistani Taliban figures and al-Qaeda.

He travels regularly into Afghanistan to coordinate with field commanders and occasionally to Peshawar and South Waziristan to connect with militants there. Remember Bowe Bergdhal? There are many field commanders in Afghanistan, but turnover is high because many get killed or captured. The most prominent is Mullah Sangin, who is believed to be holding Pfc. Bowe Bergdahl a captured U.S. soldier and Zakim Shah the movement's shadow governor of Khost province. Inside the Haqqani network

Jalaluddin Haqqani legendary leader who fought the Soviets and his son, Sirajuddin who directs operations are increasingly the targets of drones and now manned NATO aircraft in Pakistan as the Pakistani's have been leery to go in the area for whatever reason. Many are being killed, I heard over 80 in a week with no civilian casualties.

I wish we would quickly kill the Haqqani's, both Jalaluddin and Sirajuddin and leave the rest to Pakistan as our invasion of their country even to kill Taliban and Al Qaeda fighters who were known killers of NATO forces may be the straw that broke the camels back.

I would hate to see this unite the Haqqani network with Pakistan against us. I think those in the ISI protecting Mullah Omar, the Haqqani's, Al-Zawari, Bin Laden and the lot can be persuaded to give them up and cooperate in working for peace with the Taliban if we cooperate with them this time. We must include Pakistan in these talks, they are the key. We must truly give peace a chance! This is a real tight rope act and I do not like the way this is developing!

I don't have to tell you: The Taliban do not want a Democracy period. They want strict Sharia law! They are arguably defeating us in Afghanistan despite claims that we have them on a downward spiral. I find that hard to believe. Afghanistan is their country not ours. They are not going to cut and run. You know how they have all felt since day one, they want us off Muslim land and these are some of the hard core.

Most realize by now that Obama plans on reaching out to Iran To help in Afghanistan! At first glance that sounds ridiculous but I believe cooperation will happen, it has to happen. It is in both our interests!I had no idea back in 1998 Iran was prepared to attack Afghanistan or that since they have been supplying weapons to Northern Afghanistan to fight the Taliban! check out the numerous common interests including survival as Iran is on the Taliban menu too.

I guess I forgot but Iran's hostility toward the Taliban predates Sept. 11: the Taliban's interpretation of Islam holds that the Shiite Muslims who dominate Iran are heretics, and an Iranian diplomat is among those being held by militants. Iranians are also concerned about the boom in opium poppy cultivation that has swept Afghanistan in the aftermath of the U.S. invasion."

I had no idea when I first mentioned that Pakistan and Afghanistan was the front line in this war against "Islamists" how right I was! finding this out blew me away! I found out that many Muslim's believe that what is modern day Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Iran, is the promised land from where they will secure victory in the end of days battle which ultimately will be fought in Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria.

Knowing this now makes sense of all the events we have been discussing with Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and to my surprise Iran. I had no idea Iran and the Taliban are enemies. This is a relationship we better exploit and instead of using Iran a natural enemy against the enemy once again we have united a common enemy against us first then they will turn on each other.

Pakistan has even brokered compensation packages for those who have been killed fighting the Government and Americans. This better wake you up! I told you this is just beginning and we walked right into this. Remember The Taliban get their first wish

As I keep saying the battle lines are still just forming and this will go on for generations unless we capitulate! NATO Pakistan, India, Karzai, even Iran and indeed the entire world are needed! * If we are to have a victory Russia, India, Iran, indeed the entire so called civilized world is going to have to unite. This region throughout history has never been defeated militarily and will not be now unless we all realize the future we want will not be unless as a whole we realize how critical the situation is and that united we stand divided we fall, one at a time!

We better unite as a world and quick! We could add a million troops and it would only be matched by the Taliban and other insurgents. They can and will more than match us fighter to fighter and this is their home turf. I used to say if we could secure the Afghan Pakistan Border we could then concentrate on the Taliban and rebuilding Afghanistan. However, knowing the territory and seeing the map there is no way in hell that is going to happen. I thought the Mexican border was violent and it is but the Pakistan Afghanistan Border is the most violent in the world today.

I have been long convinced Bush guaranteed a loss in Afghanistan and everywhere else when he insisted on attacking Iraq so he could help Israel create a new middle east order. I am afraid this is just taking shape and both sides, the Taliban and our so called allies are still just forming the front lines and gathering forces, Both sides are still just beginning to build and This is still just beginning! Afghanistan has never been defeated but that is not even my biggest concern. We have for generations been angering Muslims and certainly in the last 9 years done everything possible to ensure an endless supply of martyrs wanting to give their life to kill infidels for Allah!

We are not smart enough to get the hell out of there so If we are to have a victory Russia, India, Iran, indeed the entire so called civilized world is going to have to unite. This region throughout history has never been defeated militarily and will not now unless we all realize the future we want will not be unless as a whole we realize how critical the situation is and that united we stand divided we fall, one at a time! Obama is being majorly tested!

* In closing, Rove and Cheney are concerned about continuing the lie we lived under them and Bush and rewriting their dire History and preserving Bush's legacy of destruction as a great thing. Bush the servant of God, purveyor of war torture and destruction, doing it all for God in the name of peace. Sick! I do not see the necessary rosy scenario happening that would lead to a successful outcome for us.

Rove, Cheney, Hannity, Limbaugh, Beck, Palin, and other right wing extremists have succeeded in undermining Obama's good intentions of restoring unity and world order. We somehow have to unite with Iran to take on what is now a common enemy. I hate to say it but I think Iran is the one that should be in the forefront. At one time they offered their help well it is time to take it and unite the world as they are all on the Taliban's menu. Openly flaunt Iran's aid to the Taliban and their aid to Karzai. Get them on Karzai's side not ours!

Israelis, Palestinians eye US midterm elections with control and consternation

Palestine and Israel manipulating our election for their gain I thought it was Dick Armey and the tea party, Karl Rove and the corporations, and Rush Limbaugh and our friends at Fox, but I guess it is Israel that influences and controls them. I always talked about Iran and Saudi Arabia's proxy war but I did not realize there was one going on to control events in the US.

Israel's real intention is not peace but to take her perceived position and what she wants period as she continues building new settlement's in Gaza so I have to wonder what their ploy is here? Israel restricts schools' construction in Gaza: UN official

At the same time they are warning the Palestinians who I believe are genuine and would be in their beaten down downtrodden position. Netanyahu warns Palestinians against unilateral acts

Supposedly Israel is worried about Obama's influence on their militancy so it naturally worries me as too their influence and control over our elections.
I am sick of Israel's provocation while they blame it on Palestinian's and the rest of the world. They are the problem not the cure! I continue to beat a dead horse with Israel!

The only thing to do is to force the instigating war mongers Israel to adhere to 181 or leave them to their own demise and Iran would see to it. You know, first reading how Israel and Palestine was allotted their territories in 1948 I do not condone that Israel has not been forced to adhere to that resolution. We, the US Britain and Europe especially are as guilty as Israel for not insisting Israel adhere to UN Resolution 181.

You know I say often that we are Israel's lap dog, her pit Bull that will do the fighting for her when she gets in trouble. Israel I came to realize is the worlds chief warmonger and the US the enforcer. It became obvious that coming to Israel's rescue would be how the US has the excuse to go after Iran. No bargaining make Israel adhere to UN resolution 181, no alternative! It is more than fair and equitable.

The Israel, Palestinian, Iran, Syria, Middle East issue will never be resolved peacefully Knowing that I have to agree with Ahmadinejad when he said if the US and Europe felt so bad for what happened to the Jews during WW2 then they should have given them part of their country.

The best we could hope for is an adherence to UN resolution 181. That will never happen either and all I can see is a total Middle East breakdown that Bush guaranteed when he attacked Iraq to help Israel set up their buffer zone. If the Iranian Revolutionary Guard interfere with the Israeli Blockade of Gaza as they have offered to do it will guarantee war with Iran, take the heat off Iran and the dissidents protesting the corrupt regime, guarantee US involvement and worse. There will never be peace in the Middle East period unless there is a return to the original borders set in UN resolution 181! Force these SOB's I am sick of this!

Yesterday's election: Be forewarned, do not buy Republican hype!

It is no surprise, none of this especially the timings. It really bothers me, every time I bring it up someone around the country shoots me down saying I am delusional.

It is simple undeniable fact! You can google it or do a search right here on "the bankrupting of America" These sheeple are so stupid, they are going to bring us down along with them.

Everybody knows! That is only one of the many lines of conversation we have had as Bush has endeavored to destroy FDR's legacy. FDR was able to accomplish what he did because he had the cooperation of Republicans.

That is why they have vowed to make Obama fail and create his and our Waterloo. If you believe the idiots in main stream media they are going to do it. Average Americans and the elderly are in serious trouble if their fear mongering succeeds.

When I remember Romney stumping for McCain for President and he said democrats are America's biggest enemy it gave me chills.

Our trying to take care of the sick and elderly and everyone who needs help is why we have all these problems.

Bush was always reducing what they call unfunded liabilities "social security, Medicaid, and Medicare, amongst other things.

My youngest who called yesterday from Afghanistan is getting ready to come home but he was pissed saying Obama cut NASA and is trying to cut military retirement.

Bush signed the irrevocable law on NASA before he left office along with creating this financial mess. The timing was no coincidence. It was to put the blamed on Democrats and it is working.

All the people that worked for Bush that were left in office have followed his plan and have been eroding Dem plans since. No surprise Gates was Bush's Secretary of Defense.

We are absolutely screwed if Republicans succeed in getting the power to repeal Health care, privatize Social Security, continue and enhance welfare for the wealthy, and taking Obama to court for crimes against America.

That should have been Bush's reward for destroying America and then flying away proud of his accomplishments. Not a good future we have before us and remember the state of the Political and environmental world of today!

In a calamitous year October has been a calamitous month for Taliban commanders but it could backfire

October has been a calamitous month for the Taliban guerrillas waging war from sandy mountains and pistachio forests in this corner of northwestern Afghanistan.
The first to die in October was their leader, Mullah Ismail, hunted down and killed by U.S. Special Operations troops. Next came the heir apparent, Mullah Jamaluddin, even before he could take over as Taliban "shadow" governor. Within a week, several other top commanders were dead, a new governor had been captured and the most powerful among the remaining insurgents had lit out for the Turkmenistan border - all casualties of the secretive, midnight work of U.S. commandos. The CIA has recently asked for permission to increase their missions! October has been a calamitous month for Taliban commanders but it could backfire

Remember the first " big" catch that started this? It just keeps getting better as at least half of Afghanistan's Taliban leadership has now been captured and the Taliban and Al Qaeda stronghold of Damadola has now been captured along with the 156 cave complex the once sheltered Ayman al-Zawahiri, the second-in-command to Osama bin Laden.

I have been saying for years now that the entire world has a lot at stake here even Iran who knows the Taliban want their country too. The Stan's and Russia are helping even if only allowing use of airspace and or allowing us to move supplies through their country. This is finally starting to look doable.

As there are more big catches every day reiterate that the Taliban and Al Qaeda are on their heels in Pakistan and Afghanistan: Not a good time to be a member of the Haqanni family or the Taliban or Al Qaeda as Mullah Baradar's capture is having a rapid snow balling affect in Taliban and Al Qaeda captures and deaths.

Mullah Baradar was the first big catch this year in what is turning into a string of important militant leaders captured or killed in Pakistan and now Afghanistan since the operation in Helmund province was started, more specifically the town of Marjah. He was seized in a morning raid on Madrassa Khuddamul Quran near Karachi by Pakistan's ISI intelligence service on February 8th. Of course it is denied but this is great!

This was a serious big catch and it keeps paying off! Not only because he was grabbed in Karachi Pakistan by the ISI but because they were using CIA intelligence and he was grabbed while conducting day to day business where he was once protected and safe. His capture is even bigger because he not only is second only to Mullah Omar and Taliban's military commander. Baradar was Mullah Omar's right hand man and his knowledge is extensive.

As you may know, he is one of the four men who founded the Taliban movement in Afghanistan 1994 and I am sure he knows the disposition of Bin Laden and the whereabouts of Mullah Omar. I understand he is talking and we can only hope to see future sting operations. He is a childhood friend of Omar's and a long time adviser.

There is growing trust and cooperation all around in the battle against the Taliban in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Pakistan is cooperating more than ever.

As we said, Baradar in fact was captured at a Madrassa by the ISI and that is huge! I hope this breaks the Taliban’s back as they are disheartened with their commander’s capture in Pakistan, the capture of most of their commander's, along with the death and capture of many of their leaders, and NATO’s operation across the border to clean out their last stronghold. I hope they melt back into society!

So far as we know now seven of the insurgent group’s 15-member leadership council, thought to be based in Quetta, Pakistan, including the head of military operations, have been apprehended. Pakistani authorities had netted Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the movements second in command, as well as Maulavi Abdul Kabir, a prominent commander in charge of insurgent operations in eastern Afghanistan, and Mullah Muhammad Younis.

Pakistan has also captured several other Afghan members of the leadership council called the Quetta Shura. These include: Mullah Abdul Qayoum Zakir, who oversees the movement’s military affairs, Mullah Muhammad Hassan, Mullah Ahmed Jan Akhunzada, and Mullah Abdul Raouf. At least two Taliban shadow provincial governors, who are part of the movement’s parallel government in Afghanistan, have also been captured.

* This is huge and just keeps getting better! Think of this, we may succeed in breaking their back then I hope we are smart enough to get the heck out! In closing: Taliban and Al Qaeda are on their heels in Pakistan and Afghanistan, this is not a good time to be a member of the Haqanni family or the Taliban or Al Qaeda.

Despite many recent gains against Al Qaeda and the Taliban many vow to fight to victory. So too must we! We must unite as a world and victory is not to defeat the Taliban only those who refuse to live as a unified Nation not under Sharia law. I finally believe we can do this.

When all is said and done it is not all said and done. It has been a calamitous year for Taliban commanders but so what? You know these so called extremists Al Qaeda, Taliban, or whatever, are the head of the Hydra. You cut off or kill one and ten replace them. The world is their recruiting station and we the infidels are their recruiters. Again, this has barely begun unless we get the hell out!
