The idea of a North American Union has been around since the mid 19th century. "Yes since the civil war but George Bush made it a priority. Some wanted even all of South America included. That said I do believe that keeping our 3 distinct countries but forming a union along the lines of the European Union is necessary as we move through the 21st century.

Hated by many, Texas Mega Highway part of North American Super State being Secretly Pushed through!

Every once in a while I took a break from the daily corruption and mayhem caused by the Bush Mis-Administration. I talked about the North American Union being clandestinely pushed on the American people and others. The disturbing facts I read about the trans Texas mega Highway coming from Mexico really bothered me and made me rethink and research some more on The North American Union. the North American Union Wikipedia

I remember hearing about it in 2005 and then it dropped from the news. The plan is to complete a regional Government called the North American Union for Security and prosperity. To me as I remember, it was to compete with the EU and as for prosperity that would be for the few I am sure. The plan to unite the United States, Canada, and Mexico—is "directly stated only" in a May 2005 task force report.

Bush is "pursuing a globalist agenda to create a North American Union, effectively erasing our borders with both Mexico and Canada," which is "the hidden agenda behind the Bush administration's true open borders policy."

A North American Union is being created "through a process of governmental regulations" and without ever "having to bring the issue before the American people for a clear referendum or vote," Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), Jerome Corsi wrote June 26, 2006. Corsi describes it like a conspiracy theory as a dissolving of the United States to form the union but that is not true. The idea has been around for 150 years and It would be along the lines of the European Union and I actually think it is a good idea.

Knowing Bush was pushing the North American super state through with no oversight. Despite having no authorization from Congress, the Bush administration has launched extensive working-group activity to implement a trilateral agreement with Mexico and Canada.

The membership of the working groups has not been published, nor has their work product been disclosed, despite two years of massive effort within the executive branches of the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

And knowing the North American Union is already starting to replace the United States and it is well choreographed and well underway as In March 2005 at their summit meeting in Waco, Tex., President Bush, President Fox and Prime Minister Martin issued a joint statement announced the creation of the "Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America" (SPP). The creation of this new agreement was never submitted to Congress for debate and decision. Instead, the U.S. Department of Commerce merely created a new division under the same title to implement working groups to advance a North American Union working agenda in a wide range of areas, including: manufactured goods, movement of goods, energy, environment, e-commerce, financial services, business facilitation, food and agriculture, transportation, and health.

SPP is headed by three top cabinet level officers of each country. Representing the United States are Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez, Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff, and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. Representing Mexico are Secretario de Economía Fernando Canales, Secretario de Gobernación Carlos Abascal, and Secretario de Relaciones Exteriores, Luis Ernesto Derbéz. Representing Canada are Minister of Industry David L. Emerson, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Safety, Anne McLellan, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pierre Stewart Pettigrew. Reporting in June 2005 to the heads of state of the three countries, the trilateral SPP emphasized the extensive working group structure that had been established to pursue an ambitious agenda:

I recommend the reading of this report but it is what is happening in Texas I find very disturbing to average Americans and what we are worth in this. There is a man-made danger on the horizon: a colossal, 600-mile superhighway that will plow across the state of Texas, perhaps cutting through his sorghum fields and cornfields, some of the best farm land in the world lost but I guess that is small trade off for the farm lands of Mexico and Canada.

There is envisioned a combined toll road and rail system that would whisk traffic along a mega highway stretching from the Oklahoma line to Mexico bypassing local towns and businesses effectively shutting them out.

That stretch would only be the first link in a 4,000-mile, $184 billion network. The corridors would be up to a quarter-mile across, consisting of as many as six lanes for cars and four for trucks, plus railroad tracks, oil and gas pipelines, water and other utility lines, and broadband cables.

At first glance a 600 mile long highway crossing Texas from Mexico may not seem to take much land but when you consider that it will be 10 miles wide and it is only the beginning of a massive Mexico to Canada project that lo and behold is scheduled to begin in 2010. The exact route for the cross-Texas corridor has not been drawn up, though it probably will be somewhere within a 10-mile-wide swath running parallel to Interstate 35. Whatever course it takes, it is clear many farmers and property owners will lose their land, though they will be compensated by the state. Construction could begin by 2010.

It is disturbing to me that we do not hear about any of this and it is being done clandestinely like everything else today, right under our noses and I am amazed that no one in Texas has put two and two together as to this Trans Texas mega highway and the North American Union. We must make this too heard, it is important to our America.

Knowing we never learned the truth behind the assassinations of MLK, RFK, and JFK, and knowing how openly corruptive and underhanded the right is today I am increasingly believing that the powers behind the right are behind the killings and I am willing to bet I'm right. I would like to know what you think about that? knowing that and knowing those powers can not let the abusive power gained under Bush to get in the hands of Democrats I expect the right to do something underhanded to stay at the helm of these just beginning Forever Wars as the world Jockeys for position in the new world of tomorrow. Yesterday I highlighted some of the stories highlighting some of the most critical problems to America because of Bush's destruction of America as we love it and the tremendous power grab by Bush in his Fascist America as he endeavors to create a one world Government. I thought that list while incomplete was adequate enough to highlight the enormity of our situation. That is until I read some of the comments I received. I thought The information received should be shared as of course it is true but it too will be denied in order to follow this destruction of America and creation of a one world Government. This gets worse every day as Bush speeds the process up because his"legal" time is running out.

Just because the collapse is planned doesn't mean that it can't be resisted. In resistance, perhaps we can hone-off the roughest edges of the unfolding transformation. The argument made, that "resistance is futile," ignores the human potential in a battle situation, where everyone is fighting for their freedom and their lives. We have no duty to mankind to lie down before those who would trample over us. I'd prefer that this Nation not continue to submit to the corporate "gang rape" that we have been getting for so many decades. To surrender to the evil men who were instrumental to the ongoing collapse of the global systems misses the point, that it is time for a real political fight in this country. Everything depends upon our ability to shake loose the perverting forces of ultimate capital from government, where they manipulate everything American, causing the failure of democracy. The government has planned for the coming period of collapse and social upheaval in this country, but it has done nothing to prevent them from happening. The intentional de-industrialization of America has amounted to a war of economic terrorism, waged upon the people of this country. The globalist plot to "offshore" all of America's good jobs and to exploit Third World slave labor conditions, has purposely destroyed the industrial base of this country. Globalism is a plot against American workers (and all workers), just as neo-conservatism is a plot against all Americans.

Instead of stimulating our industry to use our economy as a powerhouse, to drive the world economy and to provide the basic necessities needed in developing countries, the "masters of the universe" instead decided to destroy the American economy, in order to "level the playing field" with the rest of the world. Instead of strengthening America by making our foreign policy an engine of humane change, vulture capitalists have intensified the corporate American rape of the world and harnessed us to a violent Zionist policy, intent on remaking the Middle East, as a first step into the New World Order. It is high time that we began to "wage peace" on the world, instead of war.

In order to implement their violent plans and to shape the "second American revolution," the corporate media has consistently bombarded the people with psychological warfare, to convince us of the hopelessness of our situation. Our minds are poisoned with false beliefs in the inevitability of our fates, that we are, in fact, witnessing the "end of the world." Even though most available evidence suggests that the entire world is collapsing (not just America and Western civilization), there is also ample proof that this is an engineered event, made to seem like Armageddon.

We have been duped into accepting their terms, even using their terminology, by focusing on "global" issues, instead of American issues. America may be the source of most of the world's troubles today, but it is also the world's only hope. If not for American leadership, there would be no world leaders. What the world needs now is the end of American "misleadership" and a return to the real thing. Meeting the needs of our crowded planet and repairing the centuries of industrialization run amok will calm most of the earth's turmoil, while helping us to prepare for the next phase in human development. Once we begin to turn the planet around, we can focus on expanding mankind's horizons and ending the era of hydrocarbon fuels.

Americans must save themselves from the worst and the most powerful men among them. We must revitalize our moral center, the part that made us a light unto the nations. If America can remember its basic concern for all human life that led to the creation of the world's largest human aid programs and its environmental concerns that made us signatories to countless international treaties, it can foster international recognition of universal human rights and a reverential respect for all life. This would honor one of the stipulations from the Images of Man study, to foster a national spirit that embraces the growing "religion of life" that is emerging within man.

A morally transformed national spirit will be necessary for the political fight to reclaim America. We must restore the people's government by removing the corruption within it. It is time to really "clean" the people's house. We have no other choice but to establish a "politics of righteousness" in American politics. America must unite to save her

By refusing to grant the legitimate requests of the states for an Article V Convention (to propose amendments to the Constitution), all three branches of the U.S. government are now operating as a "rogue" government outside the law. Under Article V of the Constitution, the states may request the Congress to establish a Convention to propose amendments to the Constitution. The states have done this by submitting over 500 requests to the federal government. Congress has refused to convene a convention, the President has failed to initiate action against Congress for this violation, and the Supreme Court has refused to force them to do so. I have one person in the blogosphere that inevitably seems to be on the same wave length as myself. Anyway I have been writing of late about how we have returned to the cold war and keeping up to date as to developing situations. On yesterday's post I received a link telling me to check out the latest as to the North American Union. I don't know if it was intended or just that this person knows I am interested in keeping abreast of this too but it made me put it in context putting two and two together as to the cold war developing in the Arctic and the clandestine efforts for a North American Union.
First, it needed brush up on developments. I had written a story in Regards to the Super highway being built from Mexico right through the heart of Texas and that it was just the beginning of a monstrous system being built connecting Mexico the United States and Canada in one monstrosity of pipe lines communications and various modes of transportation. Then the following day in response to the many helpful and knowledgeable comments besides the usual smattering by the blind of accusations of tin foil hat I did a follow up story on it because it was more far reaching than I had realized, having gotten comments about Mexico and from Canada and one really has to think about the big picture as to all of this. Then yesterday I was sent this story updating events and thoughts on the North American Union on my post about the cold war on our Northern Border? It was a bit graphic too me but thought provoking. In a nutshell both sides of the debate on the clandestine NAU efforts were given so you can think for yourself but it said when completed the massive highway system will stretch from Mexico City to Toronto making a monstrous swarth through our Heartland.

It brought to light how massive this system is going to be and it is already being fought in Texas and other States but it will be four football fields wide, an expansive gully of concrete, noise and exhaust, swelled with cars, trucks, trains and pipelines carrying water, wires and God knows what else through towns large and small it will run plowing under family farms, subdevelopments, and acres of wilderness. It will be Equipped with high-tech electronic customs monitors, freight from China, offloaded into nonunionized Mexican ports, and it will travel north, crossing the border bound for Kansas City where the cheap goods manufactured in booming Far East factories will embark on the final leg of their journey into the nation's Wal-Marts.
And this NAFTA Superhighway, as it is called, is just the beginning, the first stage of a long, silent coup aimed at supplanting the sovereign United States with a multinational North American Union. Even as this plot unfolds in slow motion, the mainstream media are silent and politicians are in denial yet word is getting out. Info about the highway has circulated in niche media platforms old and new, on right-wing websites like WorldNetDaily, in the pages of low-circulation magazines like the John Birch Society's The New American and increasingly on the letters to the editor page of local newspapers.

Supposedly Spain will own most of the toll roads that connect to the superhighway, Mexico will own and operate the Kansas City Smart Port, And NAFTA tribunal, not the U.S. Supreme Court, will have the final word in trade disputes. Public debate has begun Prompted by angry phone calls and e-mail from their constituents, local legislators are beginning to take action. The Montana State Legislature amongst others has already begun to take action and Republican Presidential candidates are facing hostile questions. there are nay sayers to all of this but the evidence to me is irrefutable and I recommend reading the whole story.

Anyway I remember Bush mentioning this in 2005 and went underground with it when it was not well received. Think about the reality of this with the recent developments in the Arctic. Now in response to Russia's recent claims The scramble for the Arctic gathered pace yesterday as Denmark prepared to challenge Russia's bid for the North Pole and Canada vowed to defend its "sovereignty" over the region's frozen waters.
Boy are they getting desperate! Over the next month they will seek evidence that the Lomonosov Ridge, a 1,200-mile, underwater mountain range running close to the Pole, is a geographical extension of Greenland, a Danish possession. The mission will strain relations between Denmark and Russia, which claims to have found evidence linking the ridge to Siberia. Both countries will seek adjudication from a United Nations commission in the next few years that could award a large swathe of Arctic territory to the country with the most compelling case. On topp of these still unfolding developments the US and others still claim it to be International.

I know we have much to be paying attention to and be concerned with around the world. Most of it is due to Bush. However as I have written many times about Chavez's hate for Bush and America and watching their ever growing connections with Iran, China, and Russia, I am becoming increasingly concerned about what is happening right here in our own backyard while our attention seems to be everywhere but.
We have Russia building up to 13 refineries in Venezuela. Very interesting as Iran is experiencing gas shortages and riots as a result of a lack of refineries. Anyway Venezuela has to build four refineries to process heavy crude from fields in the Orinoco Belt and is considering establishing a joint venture with Russia to satisfy these goals, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said during a business conference Friday at the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce.
"Orinoco, where Lukoil is now working, there are demonstrated reserves of 300 billion tons of heavy crude in two new fields," Chavez said. "Therefore we have decided to build four refineries, and in the future, accounting for the interests of countries in the Caribbean region, 13 refineries altogether."
Chavez said that at present, Venezuela is considering establishing a joint venture with Russia in pursuit of these aims. He said that Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru and other South American countries could also found such ventures. they will build a pipeline to Argentina and buy $5 Billion worth of equipment figuring why not Russia?http://gielda.wp.pl/...
I have learned from our own Mariacha mama through a conversation on the clandestine efforts in creating A North American union that China is funding and clandestinely building ports in Mexico. She pointed out to us that Lázaro Cárdenas is home to a deep-water seaport that handles container, dry bulk, and liquid cargo.
The port handled 160,000 TEU in 2005 but is expanding to a capacity of 2.2 million TEU annually. Cargo is moved to and from the port by road and rail equally, with rail service provided exclusively by Kansas City Southern Railway. The port is expected to become a major container facility due to congestion at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach and its relative proximity to major cities such as Chicago, Kansas City, and Houston. http://en.wikipedia.org/... Then she noted that the LA and Long Beach ports handle 6.7 million TEU and 3.8 million and they are very congested. Due to a lot of reasons, they can't expand as you can see, the Mexican port is not to replace the US ports, (it couldn't) but to add more ports so we get more crap we don't need from China. Also there are plans for another deep water port in Baja. A Los Angeles firm, fronting for Chinese and Korean concerns, is lobbying the Mexican government to be granted permission to build a $1 billion dollar port in the agricultural area of Punta Colonet, 150 miles south of Tijuana.
The downside is the obvious environmental impact. The LA Times described the intended area as ‘deserted farmland’ This is far from fact. Punta Colonet south San Quintin is one of the most productive agricultural areas in Baja. Its proximity to Hwy. 1 and the US have spurred the growth of large commercial farming in the area. Having anchored in Punta Colonet, it is a beautiful, unspoiled area where orchards and farms run right to the oceans edge. While all this is going on in our own backyard we had a very good discussion on the clandestine efforts to establish a security and Prosperity Partnership known as the North American Union. However there were a couple who said we were crazy. I was happy to receive confirmation from Canada and again from one of our members. He said: I wish more left-wingers would recognize this as There's a left-wing organization in Canada ("The Council of Canadians") that has been on top of this for several years now. Deep integration between Canada and the United States is not a theory or a fear – it is a reality. For several years now, government task forces and working groups have been quietly harmonizing Canada-U.S. programs and procedures, without any input from the Canadian public. The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP), agreed to by the leaders of Canada, the U.S. and Mexico in 2005, is moving Canada quickly toward a continental resource pact, a North American security perimeter, and harmonized military and security policies. Working groups composed of bureaucrats and corporate leaders are quietly putting this "partnership" into action, and to date only industry "stakeholders" have been consulted.
At the Council of Canadians, we believe that citizens have a right to know about major government initiatives that could change the food we eat, the civil liberties we enjoy and the social programs we depend on. To date, very few elected officials have sounded the alarm about the SPP. And all of the secrecy surrounding the SPP’s implementation has left the public in the dark.
Lastly I received confirmation of my concerns the next day as I saw that Lou Dobbs was doing a show on clandestine North American Union efforts and he was decrying left wingers for not believing what is happening.
DOBBS: Representatives of the United States, Canada and Mexico are preparing for a summer meeting to further the goals of the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America. The SPP, which many consider to be simply a blueprint for the North American Union, would weaken U.S. laws and regulations and diminish American sovereignty. Kitty Pilgrim has our report.

PILGRIM: Now, new documents have come to light about how U.S. taxpayers may end up footing the bill. Watchdog group Judicial Watch dug up documents through the Freedom of Information Act. It's a financial work plan that describes how U.S. taxpayers would fund grants to Mexico. The work plan states, "The establishment of a grant fund for development with U.S. and Canadian resources to finance the development of physical infrastructure in Mexico.
DOBBS: Well, there are a lot of questions. And the fact is, Judicial Watch is to be congratulated for its diligence in digging these new documents up. I remember Bush mentioning the North American Union in 2005 and then went underground with it when the idea was not received well but my concern today is that while we are focused on the myriad of problems facing us in our daily lives, in the middle east, and around the world our own backyard and life as we know it is undergoing a transformation. We must pay more attention and put more effort into relations right here.

Hated by many, Texas Mega Highway part of North American Super State being Secretly Pushed through!

Every once in a while I take a break from the daily corruption and mayhem caused by the Bush Mis-Administration. I talk about the North American Union being clandestinely pushed on the American people and others. The disturbing facts I read the other day about the trans Texas mega Highway coming from Mexico really bothered me and made me rethink and research some more on The North American Union.
I remember hearing about it in 2005 and then it dropped from the news. The plan is to complete a regional Government called the North American Union for Security and prosperity. To me as I remember, it was to compete with the EU and as for prosperity that would be for the few I am sure. The plan to unite the United States, Canada, and Mexico—is "directly stated only" in a May 2005 task force report.
Bush is "pursuing a globalist agenda to create a North American Union, effectively erasing our borders with both Mexico and Canada," which is "the hidden agenda behind the Bush administration's true open borders policy."

Knowing Bush is pushing the North American super state through with no oversight. Despite having no authorization from Congress, the Bush administration has launched extensive working-group activity to implement a trilateral agreement with Mexico and Canada.

The creation of this new agreement was never submitted to Congress for debate and decision. Instead, the U.S. Department of Commerce merely created a new division under the same title to implement working groups to advance a North American Union working agenda in a wide range of areas, including: manufactured goods, movement of goods, energy, environment, e-commerce, financial services, business facilitation, food and agriculture, transportation, and health.
SPP is headed by three top cabinet level officers of each country. I recommend the reading of this report but it is what is happening in Texas I find very disturbing to average Americans and what we are worth in this. There is a man-made danger on the horizon: a colossal, 600-mile superhighway that will plow across the state of Texas, perhaps cutting through his sorghum fields and cornfields, some of the best farm land in the world lost but I guess that is small trade off for the farm lands of Mexico and Canada.
There is envisioned a combined toll road and rail system that would whisk traffic along a megahighway stretching from the Oklahoma line to Mexico bypassing local towns and businesses effectively shutting them out.
That stretch would only be the first link in a 4,000-mile, $184 billion network. The corridors would be up to a quarter-mile across, consisting of as many as six lanes for cars and four for trucks, plus railroad tracks, oil and gas pipelines, water and other utility lines, and broadband cables.
At first glance a 600 mile long highway crossing Texas from Mexico may not seem to take much land but when you counsider that it will be 10 miles wide and it is only the beginning of a massive Mexico to Canada project that lo and behold is scheduled to begin in 2010. The exact route for the cross-Texas corridor has not been drawn up, though it probably will be somewhere within a 10-mile-wide swath running parallel to Interstate 35. It is disturbing to me that we do not hear about any of this and it is being done clandestinely like everything else today, right under our noses and I am amazed that no one in Texas has put two and two together as to this Trans Texas mega highway and the North American Union. We must make this too heard, it is important to our America.
