A History of God, Installment 2, Atheists

Life today the Real Story written by James m. Joiner 2005
awesome insight,  Never  published, be the one

Belief in God, believe it or not, started around fourteen thousand years ago. I know myself, I was always led to believe, and inclined to think that belief in God was started by the Jews.

I was led to believe that they had a patent on God and everyone else was wasting their time, wrong. Years ago people believed spirits resided, as many of us still do, in places and things such as rocks, mountains, plants, and other beautiful objects of nature.

The Arabs called this Jinn, various tribes around the world knew this as Manna, and Latin’s, as Numina. All religions revered nature as being close to God.

Atheists, which are looked down upon by the three great religions, also believe in this and revere nature. So you see, you are all right, and just differ in the respect that atheists do not feel the need to carry knowledge any further as some of us do.

It all depends on how much of an explanation one needs to understand his or her role on the planet and in life.

Depending on a persons needs they will go to, and find what they need in many of various religions. Atheists believe that life on this planet is a very rare but natural occurrence, as naturalist, evolutionist, and many of us others do.

Some people only have a need to carry the process further and assign these creations to the doings of a God, and further, to a vision by an identified prophet.

* At one point in time every religious faith including, Jews, Muslims, and especially Christians, were thought of as atheists. This was because their beliefs did not agree with existing beliefs in practice at the time.

Nonbelievers, (atheists), until very recently, were very rare. During Abraham’s, time, virtually everyone believed.
With the advent of ever improving fields of science being able to explain many of the great mysteries of the world many people all over the world have of late, been moving away from their belief in the one God.

What most people fail to realize, is that another perfectly natural and cyclical occurrence, is unfolding right now. It is one, of many that is happening all at the same time.

One is feeding the other and God willing, everything will work out favorably.

Once again, Christians and Jews, due to the increasing unease about their surroundings are beginning to look to God for answers.

All the bombings, killings, terrorism, and many, many, problems in our Governments have become too much for most to bear alone. This is especially true in the U.S. with a multitude of systematic moral inequities right here at home.

This is due in large part to our moral degradation and our perceived inability to do the right thing. People are more and more turning back to the one true God in ever increasing numbers.

Shortly, further on in this discussion I am going to blow your collective minds away. We will be pointing out something that has happened to both the Jews, and the Christians, and is now happening to the Muslims.

A History of God, Installment 1

Life today the Real Story written by James m. Joiner 2005
awesome insight,  Never  published, be the one

Okay people, hold on, and we’ll discuss what is really happening in the world today. I am only amazed, that you have an average American as the source, wow, only in America.

Men and women have been worshiping Gods in one form or the other since humans first began to think of their environment. From reading the most knowledgeable book on the history of God I have ever read, (KAREN Armstrong’s, “A history of God”).

I have learned some amazing facts. Many of which I am sure, were not even intended. I can only hope, and believe I have, that I do her justice. In researching what I have always been told, are my own off the wall theories. I have found that this subject, to my astonishment is 100% my own original thought, worked out over 40 years.

I was quite astonished to find that I was not as off the wall as I was told I was all those years. My theories were reaffirmed by almost every one of the greatest minds the world has ever known as you will learn.

So I don’t know, maybe my thoughts are off the wall but I seem to have some awful good company. When man first started religious belief, and worshiping the Gods he did, there was, of course no organization to it.

There was only a desire to understand and justify mans role amongst the tremendously powerful, complex, terrifying, and mysterious environment in which they existed.

Religion was seen as a way to find meaning, in mans role and value, in this environment, and life. There were no priests, mullahs, or religious leaders. There was only man, with the evolution of the process of curiosity.

Man was trying to understand his role in this awesome world he found himself in. This reaction to his surroundings was completely natural.

You will see that it is continued, and is a big part of the problem facing us, in all countries today. God is simply, a reaction to mans problems, needs, and desires. As thus, God and religion will undergo a transformation throughout history.

This occurs as mans needs change with the environment he finds himself in, sound familiar. It is more important for a specific idea of God to fill the need for a particular time, purpose, and circumstances, than it is for it to be logically sound. As soon as mans idea of God stops fitting the purpose for which it was chosen, it will be changed, often for something very different.

This is also one of the events being experienced today. This is happening in many societies and particularly in the Catholic Church in America.

This idea of change did not bother believers in the one God. This was because they knew that their ideas of God were not etched in stone. In fact, they have been changed many times over the years by the Muslims, Christians, and most surprisingly, the Jews.

I personally was under the impression that they were Gods chosen people. As such, they were very staunch in what God they prayed to. This is not true, they too as we will discuss, have changed their God to fit their purpose more than the other two great religions.

Man is not so sure about the God they pray to. Jews are forbidden to even pronounce the name of God, and Muslims cannot even try to depict God in visual imagery. Further on in the discussion

I will make you see that there is a God. It is absolutely amazing, but, the Muslims are right, the Christians are right, and the Jews are right. Atheists, Buddhist, all of you, you are all right, and it is amazingly simple.

You will all see the truth, and you only differ in the way you choose to practice your belief, it is only common sense.

All talk of God is overwhelming to most, in their attempt to express reality. But, the God of the Jews, Muslims, and Christians is a God that by all accounts, speaks, and he does. His spoken word is of the utmost importance, and has shaped the history of human culture.

Belief in God, believe it or not, started around fourteen thousand years ago. I know myself, I was always led to believe, and inclined to think that belief in God was started by the Jews.

I was led to believe that they had a patent on God and everyone else was wasting their time, wrong!

Years ago people believed spirits resided, as many of us still do, in places and things such as rocks, mountains, plants, and other beautiful objects of nature. I am sure every Religion in the world feels that at times. Life Today The Real Story "2005"

The Enlightenment and its influence on the U.S. Installment 7

The new born again Christianity that was beginning to appear in the west during the 17th and 18th centuries was frequently unhealthy. It was often characterized by violent and dangerous emotions and reversals. We can see this in the wave of religious fervour known as the Great Awakening that swept through New England during the 1730s.

This was inspired by the evangelical preaching of George Whitfield a colleague of the Wesley’s and the sermons of Jonathan Edwards (1703-1758). Edwards held his sermons in Northampton Connecticut. He described his parishioners there as being nothing out of the ordinary; they were sober, orderly, and good, but lacking in religious fervour.

They were no better or worse than the men and women living in the other colonies. That was until in 1734 when two young people died shockingly sudden deaths. This all changed suddenly as the people were real nervous and concerned.

This was reinforced by Edwards himself who was known for his hellfire and brimstone sermons. Edwards plunged the town into a frenzy of religious fervor. People could talk of nothing but religion; they even stopped working in order to spend the entire day reading the Bible.

In about 6 months there had been around 300 born again conversions in Northampton alone. They came from all classes of society. Edwards saw this craze as the direct work of God himself.

He meant this quite literally as he repeatedly said that God seems to have gone out of his usual way of behaving in New England. He was real pleased to see that this was moving the people in a most marvelous and miraculous manner.

It must be said however, that the Holy Spirit sometimes manifested himself in some rather disturbing ways. People would sink into deep despair thinking that God would not save them.

This would be followed right away with an equally extreme feeling of elation when they all of a sudden felt saved. They would break out with laughter while weeping and tears streaming down their faces at the same time.

Sometimes they would cry out in a loud voice expressing their love for God. We are obviously far from the calm control that was supposed to be the hallmark of true enlightenment.

These intensely emotional mood swings have continued to be the hallmark of religious revival in America. It was a rebirth attended by violent swings from anger and fear to instantaneous joy and laughter. This was a new version of the western struggle with God. The awakening eventually spread like wild fire to encompass all of the colonies. Eventually emotions died down until after a couple of years things were pretty much back to normal.

The new birth of the awakening was an evangelical version of the enlightenments ideal of the pursuit of happiness. It represented an existential liberation. It liberated the people from a world in which everything awakens powerful feelings of apprehension.

The awakening occurred in the poorer colonies where people had few expectations of happiness in the world. This happened despite the hopes of the sophisticated enlightenment. The experience of being born again resulted in a feeling of joy.

There was a perception of beauty that was quite different from any natural sensation. Therefore, during the awakening a God experience had made the enlightenment of the new world available to the poor as well as the successful people in the colonies.

The God of Jonathan Edwards also contributed to the revolutionary enthusiasm of 1775. In the eyes of the revivalists England had lost the new light that had shown so brightly during the puritan revolution.

To them England now seemed decadent and regressive. It was Edwards and his colleagues who led Americans of the lower classes to take the first steps toward revolution.

Edwards felt that human effort would hasten the coming of God’s kingdom. He believed that this was attainable and imminent in the new world.

From the outset I must say my intention of going through the period of the enlightenment was to show us exactly what the mood and level of morality was during the era of the founding of our country. It absolutely backs up what we found in book one.

However I am very surprised to find that it was the Colonists of the lower classes who led the way in the revolution. They had experienced

the enlightenment and its revival of morality and were driven to see the birth of a righteous nation. It was their religious fervor that actually took the first steps toward revolution.

The awakening itself made people feel that the process of redemption as described in the Bible had already begun. God, the people felt, was completely and firmly committed to the revolution. Edwards gave the Trinity a political interpretation.

The Son “was the deity generated by Gods understanding, and thus the blueprint for the new Commonwealth. The spirit, “the deity subsisting in act”, was the force that would accomplish this master plan in time.

In the new world of America, God would thus be able to contemplate his own actions on earth. The society would express the Excellencies of God himself.

The New England would be a shining city on the hill. It would be a light unto the Gentiles. It would shine with a reflection of the glory of God upon it which shall be attractive and ravishing to all.

The God of Jonathan Edwards would be incarnated in the Commonwealth, and Christ was seen as being embodied in a good society.

The Enlightenment and its influence on the U.S. Installment 6

Life today the Real Story written by James m. Joiner 2005
awesome insight,  Never  published, be the one

A new type of religious devotion emerged alongside the rationalism of enlightenment; it was often referred to as the religion of the heart. This was because it was centered in the heart not the head. It urged people to abandon external proofs, and authorities. It urged people to discover the God that was in the heart of everyone.

John Wesley, (1703-1791), the founder of the Methodist Religion, had always been a fervent Christian. When he was a fellow at Lincoln College, Oxford, he and his brother Charles started a society known as, The Holy Club. It was strong on method and discipline. so its members became known as Methodists.

In 1735 John and Charles sailed to the colony of Georgia in America as missionaries. John however returned to England disconsolate two years later. This was because he felt he needed converting himself.

During the voyage home he was impressed by some missionaries of the Moravian sect. He was impressed with the fact that they avoided all doctrine. He was agreeable to the thought that religion was simply an affair of the heart.

John underwent a conversion experience during a Moravian meeting. His conversion convinced him that he had received a direct mission from God. He believed that he had to preach this new kind of Christianity throughout England.

The experience of being born again was crucial. It was absolutely necessary to experience God continually breathing on the human soul. Experiencing God would fill the Christian with a continual, thankful Love of God. This was consciously felt. Ultimately this made it natural, and even necessary to love every child of God with kindness and gentleness.

Doctrines about God they felt, were useless and could be damaging. The psychological effect of Christ’s words on the believer was the best proof of the truth of Religion. An emotional experience of religion was the only proof of genuine faith and hence of salvation. But as we know today, this mysticism can be dangerous.

Mystics have always expressed the perils of the spiritual paths and warned against hysteria; peace and tranquility were the signs of true mysticism. This born again Christianity could produce frenzied behavior.

The American scholar, Albert C. Outler points out that the new religion of the heart and the rationalism of the enlightenment was both antiestablishment. They both mistrusted external authority. Rationalism and the enlightenment both allied themselves with the modernists against the ancients. They both shared a hatred of inhumanity, and an enthusiasm for philanthropy.

It seems that a radical religious devotion actually paved the way for the ideals of the enlightenment to take root among Jews as well as Christians.

Many of these sects seemed to respond to the immense changes of the period by violating religious taboos. Some even appeared blasphemous. Of course some were dubbed atheistic.

Puritans had left England and settled in New England during the 1620s. This as we know, was to pursue their religion in peace. This time also brought about the first Quakers.

Quakers preached that all men and women could approach God directly. There was an inner light within every person that only has to be discovered and nurtured.

Once it had been discovered and nurtured everybody, regardless of class or stature, could achieve salvation here on earth. They also preached pacifism and nonviolence.  Life Today The Real Story "2005"

The English Physicist, Isaac Newton, (1642-1727), also reduced God to his own mechanical system. He was as anxious as Descartes to rid Christianity of mysticism. Newton began with an attempt to explain the physical universe.

He believed that God was an essential part of the system. To Newton, nature was entirely passive and God was the sole source of activity. Thus as with Aristotle he believed God was simply a continuation of the natural physical order.

Newton was inclined to describe the relationship between the various celestial and terrestrial bodies in mathematical terms. He did this so as to create a coherent and comprehensive system. The notion of gravitational force which as we know, Newton introduced, drew the component parts of this system together.

Unlike his contemporaries, Pascal, and Descartes, Newton was absolutely convinced that he had proof of Gods existence.

Why didn’t the internal gravities of the various celestial bodies pull them all together into one huge mass? Because they had been carefully disposed throughout space with perfect distance between them in order to facilitate life on this planet he believed there had to be Devine intervention.

He felt that it was not to be explained by natural cause. He was forced to admit there had to be a God involved.

He believed that while gravity might have put the planets into motion that it could not have been done correctly without God’s help.

He believed that without Divine power it could never put them into such a motion as they have around the sun; therefore he was inclined to assign this system to a greater intelligent being.

If for example, the earth revolved on its axis at only 100 MPH instead of its 1000 MPH, night would be ten times longer and the planet would be too cold to sustain life.

He also knew that the daytime heat would shrivel vegetation. I am sure we all agree it is very rare occurrences having everything co-mingle perfectly.

It of course has to in order to create the perfect environment to happen and prosper. It may be rare but like many of you, I too believe it to have been a perfectly natural occurrence. You can certainly see the varied professional opinions out there at the time our country was formed. There was a tremendous confusion over reality. Just what has changed anyway?

Like Descartes, Newton had no time for mystery which he equated to stupidity and ignorance. He too was anxious to rid Christianity of mysticism. He believed that the doctrine of the Trinity, (father, son, and Holy Ghost), were false. He believed they were purposely created by the church to attract converts. What say you?  Life Today The Real Story "2005"

The Enlightenment and Its Influence on the U.S. Installment 1

Life today the Real Story written by James m. Joiner 2005
awesome insight, yet to be published

I think this would be the perfect time to discuss what civilization was experiencing during the 18th century. It is important to know how Americans felt when the Constitution was written and the country was founded.

This occurred during the enlightenment and the feelings at the time heavily influenced the forming of our principles. In light of what we have experienced already we can be thankful for our founding fathers wisdom. With what you are about to read, it becomes obvious that the decision to keep religion separate from politics was a good one. The enlightenment was a confusing time for Religion.

With the advent of technicalization in the west an entirely different kind of Society was formed. a new ideal of humanity came about. This in turn would affect the perception of the nature and role of God. The newly industrialized and efficient west also changed the course of history.

Other countries of the civilized world found it increasingly difficult to ignore the western world as it had in the past. The Muslims as we know are still unable or unwilling to come to terms with it.

No other civilization in the history of the world had achieved anything like this. The west therefore created problems that were completely new, and very difficult to deal with.

Until the eighteenth century Islam had been the dominant world power in much of the Middle East and Africa. By the end of the eighteenth century Europe had begun to dominate the world.

The very nature of its achievements made it impossible for the rest of the world to catch up. Europe began to colonize as much of the world as it could. They did this with the overlying prevailing thought being that western civilization was far superior to everyone else.

They believed that with their vast religious and civilizational principals that they were beyond reproach. They felt that they were vastly superior and always were. We know now that this is not true and right for everyone.

They also believed that any country would be better off under its guidance. We have surely found out the hard way that none of this was true either.

The process of westernization had begun. With it the view that the well being of society should trump any religious considerations became the prevailing thought. This, as we said, was the train of thought that prevailed when the Constitution was written, and our country was formed.

The west was now no longer an Agriculture based society. We were no longer governed by the many nuances of climate, resources, and agriculture. Its technical innovations meant that it had become independent of local and world conditions.

The Islamists as we all know are trying hard to turn this around.

The accumulation of Capital, and the process of modernization, led the west to a series of changes. It brought us Industrialization, an intellectual enlightenment, and social and political revolutions, as a natural occurrence.
These many profound cultural changes affected the way in which men and women perceived themselves. This caused them to revise their relationship with what was to them, the one ultimate reality, God. This was just as it is happening today.

Then, the religion change was due to prosperity in society. Today it’s occurring due to insecurity in society. The many changes ultimately created an unstoppable momentum. More and more people from all levels of society were necessarily drawn into this process of modernization that was touching every sphere of life known to civilized man.
Ultimately it became necessary to involve all levels of society in this process. It was necessary in order to continue, and even increase productivity. It was necessary as a result of the accumulation of capital.

The expansion of mass markets, and advances in science and technology also made it a must do situation. This of course led to social changes in western society. Men and women on every level felt empowered and in charge of their own lives as never before.

We also see the fear and anxiety that innovation and change has brought to traditional societies. We are right now experiencing this with Islam.

There was new optimism about humanity as control over the natural world appeared to be advancing in leaps and bounds. People began to think that a better education and improved laws could bring light to the human spirit.

This new confidence in the natural powers of human beings meant that people began to think that they could achieve enlightenment on their own. They no longer felt that they had to rely on tradition, church, or a revelation from God in order to discover the truth.

Consequently innovative scientists and intellectuals felt obliged to work out their own theories of life and religion. They felt that their new found knowledge and effectiveness gave them the responsibility to look at traditional Christian explanations of reality and evaluate them for themselves. The new scientific spirit was based purely on observation and experiment.

The western sciences could take nothing for granted. The people were increasingly ready to risk a mistake or to question established authorities and institutions. Of course this included the Bible, the Church, and accepted Christian principles.

The traditional teachings of the existence of God were no longer entirely satisfactory or acceptable. Natural scientists and philosophers full of enthusiasm to find out the truth, felt compelled to verify the reality of God. They did this in the same way they proved other unexplained phenomena.

French Physicist Blaise Pascal, (1623-1662), was brutally honest with himself. Unlike many of his contemporaries he was convinced that there was no way to prove that God existed. Pascal was the first person in this new enlightened environment, to concede that belief in God could only be a matter of personal choice.

By making the decision to surrender to God, the faithful feel themselves transformed. They become faithful, honest, humble, grateful, and full of good.

Somehow the Christian finds that life has acquired new meaning and significance, having created a faith and having found God in the face of hopelessness and despair. God is a reality because he works. Faith is not intellectual certainty but an experience that brings with it a moral enlightenment.                                        Life Today The Real Story "2005"

Religion and the lies we call History, final installment

Beware!
Chapter 4 & 5 of Life today the Real Story

As we discussed, Religious resurgence happens at a time of political insecurity when people are haunted by the fear of their own destruction. As we all know, all over the world we are experiencing these fears today with war all over the world to one degree or the other.

It is horrible what the Islamists are doing to the entire world. It is for this reason that Religion is experiencing a new lease on life among Jews, Christians, and Muslims, including the Religion of Atheism.

A personal God like Yahweh can be manipulated to shore up ones beleaguered emotions. When one conception of God has ceased to have meaning or relevance it has quietly been discarded and replaced with a new ideology.

Each generation must choose the image of God that works for them. It is time that we realized, and settled on ours.

When we started researching this book, I was very disturbed to start hearing about all these different Gods that were believed in and prayed to. Like most of you I imagine, I was taught that there was a God and grew up believing that.

I have read the Bible off and on over the years. In light of this it surprises me that for some reason these references to many different gods and goddesses have somehow gotten by me.

Either that or because of the blinders you inevitably wear when you are looking at scripture through the eyes of any given religion. As a result you have a tendency to see things the way they portray them.

Reading now with a totally unbiased viewpoint the Old Testament, the Chariots of the Gods, along with a History of God in all Religions, it tends to put an awful lot into perspective. Primarily I came to this conclusion; we as a people are lost.

I can’t even fathom how we can read in the Bible of so many different Gods. We are told their names right in the Bible. We learn of the fact that many of them have been believed.

We also find that many have been worshiped over the years. They have been worshiped by both the Christians and the Jews. This while all the time we keep being told of one God. Somehow we don’t seem to question this as we rightly should.

Let alone the fact, this is in the Bible too, that they were flying around in what is obviously some kind of space ship. They were also breeding with earth women all over the world. There were also goddesses who bred with earth men and then went back to the stars.

I was really disgruntled to pick up the fact that Lot committed incest with both of his daughters. On top of that the Bible still calls earth the center of the universe when we know it isn’t.

We have learned that we must know our past. It’s got to be our true past. We must do this right now while we are trying to deal with the many problems in the world today. I believe that it will not only shed light on many unanswered questions. It will also aid in resolving the problems we are experiencing right now with the Islamists.

Since doing this and reading the Bible in conjunction with the Chariots of the Gods and the History of God. I can now understand how the Bible can continually reference many Gods without batting an eye or feeling the necessity to explain.

* I for one believe there is much known that is being kept from us for one reason or the other. We have been visited from the heavens by many different Gods. This has happened at many different times, all over the world. That is why over the millennia man has had a choice of Gods to believe in. That is why the Gods were always killing off whole populations that didn’t agree with them. Beware!

Religion and the lies we call History: Installment 16

Religion what it's worth to you?

Chapter 4 & 5 of Life today the Real Story

There is only one way information could have gone around the globe during a point in our history where there were no advanced communication methods. There was no way for men of the time to travel from one region to the next beyond the slow inadequate methods known to our history.

All these authors could not have been haunted by the same dream. It is impossible and incredible that the writers of the Mahabharata, The Bible, The Epic of Gilgamesh, the texts of the Eskimos, the American Indians, the Scandinavians, the Tibetans, and many, many other sources should all tell the same stories.

These are the stories of flying gods, strange heavenly vehicles, and the frightful, horribly, destructive weapons possessed by the gods from heaven. The almost uniform recital of the experiences observed could only have been from first hand facts.

Let us now include the time line of Religious changes as we know them. BCE will denote before Common Era, before the birth of Christ, and CE will denote, Common Era, or after the birth of Christ.

2000 B.C.E. – Belief in one God was started to help man in the new environment of Capitalism. This was way before the west was even thought of. This as we know was in response to changes to the people of Arabia and their needs, no one else’s.

1000 B.C.E. – Many Gods were worshiped, i.e. Marduk, Tiamat, Baal, Yahweh, Tamaz, Yam, Lotan, Rahab, as well as Goddesses, i.e. Ishtar, Anat, Isis, Yahweh felt forsaken and vowed revenge.

606 B.C.E. – Babylonian King Nebupolassar crushes the Assyrians and begins to build his own Empire. Moses principals are once again reinstalled. Yahweh is now known as the one true God. Yahweh also becomes the author of a Holy War of destruction purely to show and prove it

604 B.C.E. – The Jews were deported to Babylon.

597 B.C.E. – After the fall of Jerusalem a priest named Ezekiel was deported.
587 B.C.E. – With the help of Yahweh Jerusalem was conquered by the Babylonians. Yahweh repents for doing this and promises Savior to the Jews.
*Beginning of C.E., (Common Era) with the birth of Jesus Christ and Christianity.
  1. Rome’s Emperor Vespasian conquers Jerusalem, burns down the temple, and exiles the Jews once again.
*610 - The prophet Muhammad receives the first revelations for the Muslim religion.
*11th/12th Centuries – The Christian Crusades to recapture Jerusalem, many Jews and Muslims were massacred along the way.
*1901 – The discovery of oil in Iran – Rights of recovery were sold to the British. This as far as I am concerned, is the start of the problems we are experiencing today with the Islamists.

The story continues to take shape, we are nearing the end. Installment 17 tomorrow!

Religion and the lies we call History: Installment 14

Chapter 4 & 5 of Life today the Real Story

Following the first 13 Installments: In the Samsaptakabadha they talked of flying and nonflying chariots.

While in the first book of the Mahabharata an intimate history of the unmarried Kunti is told. She not only received a visit from the sun god, but she had a son by him. This son was supposed to be as radiant as the sun itself.

As she was afraid of falling into disgrace she laid the child in a little basket and put it in the river. Adhirata, a worthy man of the Suta caste, fished basket and child out of the water and brought up the infant.

Yes this is another too familiar story. It is too much like Moses. This aside, we are yet again talking about gods breeding with humans, This time it is different Gods and different humans.

We must start questioning this duplicity. We must at least somewhere along the line check out all these misconceptions as to where this story came from.

We need to know what our true history really is. It is beholden of us and behooves us to find out the truth about our past.

We have to do this before its misconceptions continue to allow us to go in the wrong direction and endanger needlessly our future.

In the Mahabharata the author recites his story, full of repulsion. He describes a weapon that can kill all warriors who wore metal on their bodies.

If the warriors learned about the effect of this weapon in time, they tore off all the metal equipment they were wearing, jumped into a river. They washed themselves and everything they had come into contact with thoroughly.

They did this for good reason as the author explains, because the weapon made the hair and nails fall out. He also recounted that every living thing became pale and weak.

The story continues to take shape, we are getting there. Installment 15 tomorrow!

Religion and the lies we call History: Installment 13

There is more.
Chapter 4&5 of Life today the Real Story

The religious legends of the pre Inca peoples say that the stars were inhabited. They say the gods came down to them from the constellation Pleiades.

Constantly our ancient peoples, Sumerians, Assyrians, Babylonians and Egyptian, Eskimo's, through their recollections and inscriptions, present the same story that gods came from the stars. They then went back to them
.They say that they traveled through the heavens in fiery ships. They say that they possessed terrifying weapons. They also promised immortality to individual men
.
Finding out that Piri Reis had maps of North and South America along with Antarctica the Mediterranean and the Dead Sea was at first very curious.

You have to come to the obvious conclusion that he did not know what he possessed. If he did they could have drastically changed the course of history.

Thankfully, he did not know what to do with the information. So, just why did the Gods take aerial photos of these countries?

Now after finding out that the American Indians, the Eskimo’s of Alaska, and various peoples of South America and the Middle East have all according to recorded article’s received visits from the stars. They received these visits from Gods in wondrous flying machines.

They arrived bearing terrible weapon. It puts the entire subject into perspective. It would really be good to see some actual knowledge gained from all this. This all has to be looked at by someone the general public can believe and have faith in.

The ancient Indian epic, the Mahabharata tells of weapons so terrible and powerful they killed the unborn in their mother’s womb.

The Ramayana, an epic poem of ancient India is regarded as sacred text by Hindus. Once again we are told of flying machines that navigated at great heights with the aid of quicksilver and a great propulsive wind.

In the Samsaptakabadha they talked of flying and nonflying chariots.

Religion and the lies we call History: Installment 11, Gilgamesh came before Noah

Chapter 4 & 5 of Life today the Real Story

Around the turn of the20th century a heroic epic of great explosive power was discovered. It was engraved on 12 tablets and belonged to Assyrian King Ashibanipal. Later a second copy was found that belonged to King Hammerabi.

The first clay tablet says that the victorious hero Gilgamesh built the wall around Uruk. We read that the God of Heaven lived in a stately home which contained granaries and had guards on the town walls. We found out that Gilgamesh was a mixture of 2/3 God and 1/3 man.

Pilgrims who came to see him stared up in fear and trembled. This was because they had never seen such beauty and strength. This is another historic fact of interbreeding between God and man.

The third tablet goes on to tell us again, about a cloud of dust which came from the heavens. It says the heavens roared, the earth quaked, and finally the sun god appeared. He then seized Enkidu who was created by the goddess of heaven, Aruru. We read incredulous that he lay like lead on Enkidu, and his weight felt like the weight of a boulder.

How on earth could the writer of these tablets have known that the weight of a body becomes like lead at certain acceleration?

If you are interested you should get the details for all 12 tablets off the internet. Today everyone knows about the forces of gravity and acceleration. When at certain speeds an astronaut is pressed back into his seat by gravitational pull. On the seventh tablet is the first eyewitness account of a space trip, recounted by Enkidu.

He flew for hours held in the brazen talons of an eagle. He again recounts, he said to me look down at the land, what does it look like? Look at the sea, how does it seem to you?

The land was like a mountain and the sea was like a lake. We then flew for four more hours and he again said to me. Look down at the land, what does it look like? Look at the sea, how does it seem to you? The earth was like a garden and the sea like a water channel. He flew for yet another four hours and again he spoke. Look at the land, what does it look like? Look at the sea, how does it seem to you? The land looked like porridge and the sea like a water trough.

This account is too accurate to have been the product of someone’s imagination. It had to be told by someone who had seen the earth from a great height. Who could have known that the land looked like porridge and the sea like a water trough if some conception of our round planet did not exist? The planet actually does look like a jigsaw puzzle of porridge and giant water troughs from space.

On the eighth tablet Enkidu who must have seen the earth from a great height died of a disease so mysterious that Gilgamesh asks whether he could have been smitten from the poisonous breath of a heavenly beast. But just where would he have gotten this idea in the first place.

The ninth tablet describes how Gilgamesh mourning the death of his friend, decides to undertake a long journey to see the gods because he thinks he might die of the same disease as Enkidu.

The narration says that Gilgamesh came to two mountains that supported the heavens. It says that the two mountains also arched the gate of the sun. He was allowed to pass the gate of the sun as he himself was 2/3 God.

When he reached the guard of the Gods the Gods tried in vain to warn him off. However, he paid them no heed. He wanted to reach Utnapishtim, the father of men. This whole thing blows me away personally because I’ve never heard of any of this.

Gilgamesh did find the father of men and he was neither bigger nor broader than him. Utnapushtim then told him about his past, strangely enough in the first person.

We are given a detailed description of the great flood. He recounted how the Gods warned him of the great flood to come and gave him the task of building the boat, and how to stock it.

The description of the violent storm, the darkness the rising waters, and the despair of the people he could not take with him has tremendous power still.

This account was even to include the raven and the dove that were released. It told how as the waters receded the boat sat stranded on the mountain. The fact that there was a great flood is beyond doubt. It is not questioned by a single scholar.

The uncanny parallel between the flood in the Epic of Gilgamesh and the flood in the Bible is just too much. The flood, history tells us did happen. However now we have the same story told by two different Gods. Whatever happened to the one God? This tells us that the stories in the Bible, at the very least those relating to the flood, are second hand. Gilgamesh came first, and this is not the first event involving false information as you know.

The story continues to take shape. Installment 12 tomorrow!       Life Today The Real Story "2005"
