Texas Executed 500th Person since 1982: The Texacutioner's must be proud

Texas marked a solemn moment in criminal justice, executing its 500th inmate since it resumed carrying out capital punishment in 1982.

Kimberly McCarthy, who was put to death Wednesday evening for the murder of her 71-year-old neighbor, was also the first woman executed in the US in nearly three years.

Governor Perry the new Texecutioner and proud of it: Now he qualifies for President?

Supreme Court halts killer's execution in Texas: The U.S. Supreme Court Thursday halted the execution of a black man convicted of a double murder in Texas 16 years ago after his lawyers contended his sentence was unfair because of a question asked about race during his trial. Duane Buck, 48, was spared from lethal injection when the justices, without comment, said they would review an appeal in his case. Two appeals, both related to a psychologist's testimony that black people were more likely to commit violence, were before the court. One was granted. The other denied.

Death Penalty: Applause for Rick Perry’s ‘Ultimate ...: Texas Gov. Rick Perry apparently loses no sleep over authorizing 234 executions in more than a decade as Texas governor.Perry has authorized more executions than any governor in the history of the United States. He said at a Republican presidential debate Wednesday that he has never worried that the state of Texas has executed an innocent man.

Perry has now executed more than the original Texacutioner George W Bush and has no qualms about hanging an innocent man as he has already proven. That said, I am not sure how I feel about treating a person differently because his genes or color predispose him to be violent. I don't think I agree with that but...

Hell Perry already hung a known innocent man! The Texas sanctioned Willingham murder and cover up gets deeper and deeper! Please sign the petition!

Texas Executes 9/11 'Revenge Killer'

I was also going to discuss Bush who as Governor of Texas killed legally more Americans than anyone in history. I implore you to read the story at the link of who he killed and the fact that he was known as The Texacutioner It just absolutely amazed me that Bush is known as the biggest serial killer in history with the okaying of killing 154 prisoners as Governor of Texas. Cause of Death listed on their Death Certificates "Homicide" It absolutely stuns me that Bush can do this and still get an invite to speak at Notre Dame.

* Thinking about the fact that Bush killed all those people many veterans and retarded and was still the Popes friend and spoke at Notre Dame I found out why! The catechism use to teach that God had entrusted civil authorities with the power over life and death. Also the Vatican had the Death Penalty on their books until 1969! Religion and capital punishment

Those little tidbits pointed out, what is it about Texas penchant with the death penalty? Bush killed almost as many people as Perry and he was elected President and we are still suffering from that turn out with much suffering to come. I refuse to believe Governor Perry who purposely put to death an innocent man thinks God and the people are calling him to run for President. He is also the fool who wanted Texas to secede from the union. What the hell is wrong with us?

USA: Russia denies role as Snowden vanishes, US laughingly tries to pressure Putin

USA: Russia denies role as Snowden vanishes: Edward Snowden’s stop-and-start flight across the globe appeared to have stalled in Moscow on Monday as Russia reacted angrily to “unacceptable” pressure from the US to have the National Security Agency leaker extradited.

Russia Won't Stop Snowden, Putin Says

The US sought help on Monday from both adversaries and uneasy allies in an effort to catch fugitive National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden, as Moscow slammed attempts by Washington to have the whistleblower extradited. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Tuesday that Moscow had no role in Snowden’s efforts to evade USprosecution and that he had not exited the airport transit area into Russian territory.

I have to laugh at our political idiots saying they are going to put pressure on Putin not to be harboring or aiding in the hiding of Snowden. They have not learned a god damn thing from the ambaressment we put Putin and Russia through in his first term or the fact that he stole a second Presidency to be at the helm during the ending of U.S. Hegemony. I mean look at the damn facts.

Remember when Putin was rallying and uniting the world to take on Bush and his drive to dominate the world? Absolutely as the world's mayhem ensues amidst its drive to dominate as we move through the 21st century is Putin's only agenda. It is an old thought. I remember when term limits made him have to leave last time. There was immediate speculation as to him taking back the Presidency.

This is another sobering shock. Putin's party has been intimidating and gaming the system for years in his effort to get his fascist hands on Russia again. This is proof positive of Russians' increasing suspicions of Putin's authoritarianism, ingrained corruption and falling living standards. Putin is not to be trusted and Russians have felt his grubby little hands around their necks for 12 years as he intimidates and tries to control Russia's future for his party.

Be scared be very scared! The USSR's Mikhail Gorbachev has warned that Russia risks six lost years when Vladimir Putin returns to the presidency, echoing rumblings of dissent over his Kremlin comeback. I always find myself agreeing with Gorbachev but that is putting it mildly. This is bad news for the US and the world!

This is very concerning. I remember back in 2008 when Putin was going to try and be President for life. He was not alone. Leaders aligned with Russia were all trying to get permanent leadership so they could be at the helm of their prospective countries to take on then President Bush when his war mongering hit the point where Russia, the 135 non aligned Nations, Iran, and others were prepared to join forces and take him and our allies on.

I remember when Bush first met Putin and he said he shook his hand and looked him in the eye and saw a man of compassion, a man who was true to his word, and a man he could work with. I shuttered at Bush's stupidity. I looked at Putin and saw a man deceitful to the core who was not to be trusted period.

We were too pompous then and were pushing the world towards WW3 with our take it or leave it, my way or the highway, interference around the world. Putin was determined to head us off, to directly confront us when we were on Russia's front door trying to instigate war by installing the so called missile shield in Czechoslovakia and Poland, and return Russia to the role of a world leader.

Personally we blew it when Russia broke up and the Berlin wall came down. We were the world leader and had the perfect opportunity to be humble, show we were the leader, and bring the world together to proceed successfully through the 21st century. We egged on the likes of Vladimir Putin who understandably chaffed under our we are the boss do what we say take it or leave it, it your face tactics of Bush and Cheney.

With the return of Putin to the Russian Presidency I am again concerned as we have returned to a confrontational relationship with Russia.Under Putin we have a re-surging Russia who is suppressing his people and Democracy. His goal hopefully with the aid of China and Iran is to put an end to US hegemony. I do not like the man, I do not trust the man, and I am very concerned as to which direction Russia and the United States are headed now and at a time when China is surging militarily.

We must maintain a balance as we try to move progressively and successfully through the 21st century! Being in a superior position puts one in a unique position of power and that power must be handled gracefully, with humility, responsibly, and not abused. That is something I taught all my sons and America under Bush did a lousy job of handling it and so it China and Russia.

Watching what is happening in Syria and Iran at this point it looks like Russia and China are going to unite to take on the United States and our allies and that bodes ill for the prospect of future war or the well being of us the world and the planet.

We need Russia on our side. I am a little worried that China too is getting a little too heavy handed and abusive with her new position of power and beginning to take what she wants instead of being content with what she has which is what I constantly lecture has to be the case if we are to have a future. The time when man and the planet could handle war is over, period or else! Be very concerned for our future!

Taliban Launch Deadly Attack in Kabul days after having 38 Taliban militants killed

The Taliban sent a statement taking responsibility for the attack and saying the targets were the Ariana Hotel, which they said is the C.I.A. base in Kabul, and the presidential palace. The attack came just days after the Taliban opened an office in Doha, Qatar, ostensibly for starting negotiations about a peace process.

Mullah Omar was invited to join the upcoming election in 2014 and he did not respond. He did not have to he knows when we are gone so is corrupt Karzai. I remember during the election with Abdullah and Karzai's victory was found to be grossly corrupt the people just shrugged and said one corrupt Government is the same as the next.

That said, the people would be wise to remember the cutting off of heads and hands that is routine for the Taliban and how stifling it is under their rule. As a whole they should remember the thousands of them the Taliban have purposely killed. They should form Lashkar's (civilian defense against the Taliban) and eliminate the Taliban or life as they want it is over.

Afghans fear what will happen when troops leave: Among Afghans around the country interviewed by The Associated Press, the worry is pervasive. Many are deeply skeptical that Afghan police and security forces, which the U.S.-led coalition has spent years trying to build, will be able to fight insurgents and militants without American and NATO fighting alongside. Worse-case scenarios that some fear:

The Afghan forces could splinter along ethnic line and prompt civil war, the nation could plunge into a deep recession, or the Kabul government — plagued with corruption and still fragile despite efforts to establish its authority — would remain too weak to hold off a Taliban takeover. Just a 45-minute drive south of Kabul, residents of Wardak province directly feel the tenuousness. The province is a battleground for Afghan and coalition forces trying to squash hotbeds of the Taliban. Residents quickly warn visitors that it’s dangerous just to go past a checkpoint less a kilometer (half-mile) outside the provincial capital, Maidan Shahr.

In Afghanistan, Businesses Plan Their Own Exits: America may be struggling to come up with a viable exit plan for Afghanistan, but Abdul Wasay Manani is sure of his. This month, Mr. Manani, 38, flew to India for 14 days to scout out a new business, and a new home, ready to leave Afghanistan and everything he worked to build here, just in case things fall apart when most Americans and other foreign troops leave in 2014. “If the Taliban come like last time, ordering people around with whips, I can’t stay here,” he said. “I have to leave this country to keep my family safe.”

Many Afghans share his concern. In this environment, troubling indicators are not hard to find. More than 30,400 Afghans applied for asylum in industrialized nations in 2011, the highest level in 10 years and four times the number seeking asylum in 2005. The only Western bank operating here said on Wednesday that it would be leaving. Piles of cash equaling about a quarter of Afghanistan’s annual economic output were physically carried out of Afghanistan last year.

I just do not get it. If those people know how bad their life is going to be under the Taliban then why do they not fight to defeat them? *Vietnam all over again regardless of what they say. They are now offering the Taliban to join in the Government.

I really do not care what they do. Our soldiers did their job. We should get them out now with heads held high for a job well done. They have performed magnificently. The Taliban are going to take over again regardless and the people know it that is why everyone who can is making preparations to get out now.

AK-47 creator, 93-year-old Kalashnikov flown to Moscow for treatment

With over 50 million made Kalashnikov Manufacturer Faced Bankruptcy: Unbelievable?

Mihail Kalashnikov and German inventor Hugo Schmeisser

AK47 vs. the M16

At first glance this is an amazing development knowing The AK47 is one of the most popular and easily recognized firearms in the world. Over 50 armies along with hundreds of resistance movements use the weapon. There have been over 50 million AKs produced since the rifle’s creation in 1947. However it's success and desire to get it around the world was its downfall!

I just had a conversation the other day with one of you as to how we face the Kalishakov as the weapon of choice in Afghanistan and elsewhere. I know we are the worlds largest supplier of arms but knowing how prevelant the Kalashnikov is and that there has been over 50 million produced in its more than 60 year history of production I was amazed to hear that the manufacturer of the most popular rifle in the world is facing Bankruptcy. Kalashnikov Manufacturer Faces Bankruptcy

Mikhail Kalashnikov the elderly weapons designer laments that there are counterfeits made all over the world. That I did not know but it is Russia's own fault as they not only sold the AK47 around the world in their effort to make it popular but they gave out the instructions on how to produce them.

The guns are used by 60 armies worldwide, account for up to 80 percent of all assault rifles and are known as the weapon of choice for terrorist groups and rebel movements. Trouble spots: The Congo, Vietnam, Mujahadeen, Taliban, Central American Guerilla's, etc.

I heard it is fondly known as the worlds credit card "you don't leave home without it" Problem is that there are about eight countries in which dozens of business are making their own versions of the Kalashnikov and they pay no royalties to Kalashnikov or Russia! Since 1947 licenses were granted generously with the goal of spreading the weapon around the world with the aim of freeing the people.

With the fall of the Warsaw pact all licenses were suppose to come to an end but with no way to enforce it countries just continued to produce them.

I invite you to check this link out because it is quite interesting! As we took as much of the brain trust as we could after the fall of Germany to develop our own country and military so too did Russia.

They took the best from their zone in Germany and brought it back to Russia so they could further their country. Not that it matters but Mihail Kalashnikov is admitting he was "helped" by the German inventor and arms maker Hugo Schmeisser to create the AK-47 assault rifle. After the end of the war Schmeisser the German inventor was displaced and forced to work in the Soviet Union and helped create the AK47! Iran 'ready to suspend 20 per cent uranium enrichment' thanks to President Rowhani, but?

Stopping work on production of uranium to a level that would allow Tehran to make an atomic weapon has been a key demand in talks between Iran and world powers. Mr Lavrov also warned there was a danger that a major opportunity could be lost if the world is not prepared to ease UN sanctions.

President Rowhani promised the people he would try to cooperate with the west and get sanctions reduced in order to better theur lives and he immediately holds true That said, remember who is ultimately in charge. The ultimate decision to make concessions lies in the hands of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
I say it to often today that once our so called leaders mention that something is an issue it is too late to do anything about it because it has gone too far. That is the case with Iran's clandestine nuclear weapons program and also labeling Iran as a military dictatorship. We have discussed this numerous times in the past. The fact that it is, is a long given as certainly events since the stolen election have proven. Iran's Revolutionary Guard is in charge!

On top of all the instigating Iran is doing in every instance I am very concerned with her desire for nuclear weapons, her willingness to use them, and the fact that we gave Iran her nuclear start in the 50s. The nuclear program of Iran was launched in the 1950s with the help of the United States as part of the Atoms for Peace program.[1] The support, encouragement and participation of the United States and Western European governments in Iran's nuclear program continued until the 1979 Islamic revolution that toppled the Shah of Iran. We are so concerned about Pakistan and Iran today in regard to nuclear abilities and nuclear weapons and security. I was blown away to find out that we built the first nuclear Reactors in both Iran and Pakistan. 1953 atoms for peace

Reading the book by Con Coughlin titled Khomeini's Ghost - The Iranian Revolution and the Rise of Militant Islam while as usual not totally correct it certainly makes you think and put everything in its proper frightening perspective. Please look at the book review and decide for yourself. From Khomeini's response on his return to Iran after 15 years of exile to today's events it all makes sense and the world better be concerned as there is more than idle threats and braggadocio coming from Ahmadinejad. Khomeini's Ghost - The Iranian Revolution and the ...

A reminder: When asked by a journalist how he felt upon returning to Iran after 15 years in exile. Khomeini’s curt, one-word reply “nothing” Whoa! From day one of his return to Iran Khomeini expressed no love for Iran only a love of the atom bomb. The drive even then was to possess a nuclear weapon though that desire is still denied until Iran can get their hands on one.

I have tried to give Iran the benefit of the doubt when they say their nuclear desires are peaceful knowing they could use nuclear power as an energy source for their growing population. I have always asserted that perceived need could be cover for the real goal of developing a nuclear weapon. I now believe it is!

IRG Ahmadinejad, the stolen election, the killing and imprisonment of the children of the Revolution, the violent crushing of all opposition, the clandestine nuclear program, It is all making sense, beware! Natanz, Qom, Isfahan, Bushehr, Natanz, how many more nuclear facilities? How will this end?

As this ratchets up instigated by the Basiji and the IRGC another reminder! You know how I feel about Iran's Revolutionary Guard Command, but now there are many pro Government citizens calling for the death of those against the current regime and the IRGC! Like most I believe the election was stolen. I originally thought it had to be known right to the top but I do not think so. I now thing even Ayatollah Khamenei was duped about the stolen election. Some not all of the clerics have been dragged into bed with the IRG!

As you know, the IRGC was set up to protect the ruling authority after 1979 and are supposed to be controlled By Ayatollah Khamenei's authority. I know Ahmadinejad and 2/3 of his first 21 member cabinet are ex IRGC members and that simply reinforces that I am right to believe the IRGC has become the final authority not the Supreme leader.

The IRGC is in control of furthering Shiite demands around the Middle East! You know by now what they are doing in Yemen, Iraq,, Syria, and everywhere they can in the Middle East. I now believe Khamenei is the power behind the crackdown but he is unknowingly enforcing a lie! Iran will not give up her nuclear weapons designs and will never give up power or efforts to dominate the Middle East. Ahmadinejad and the IRGC are the driving force and will not relent. Increasing sanctions will only work to defeat all the opposition has done.

Having said that, it will be interesting to see if Khamenei in the end did not allow Ahmadinejad's close ally Esfandiar Rahim Mashaie to run. They do not want to see their instigating come to a halt. As long as we can keep from conflict with Iran I firmly believe that the people will rebel again and it will be much worse than 2009 with the same result. I for one do not like it but?

You know, I have long said that Iran’s civilian nuclear program is a cover for their nuclear weapons program. You know that Arab leaders feel the same way. They fear a nuclear arms race and I can only conclude that knowing how far along Iran is and how they feel, that they are hedging their bets and an arms race is already under way clandestinely. The only question is when will it become an overt arms race and just how big the middle east explosion I have been predicting since Bush attacked Iraq, will be?

Head of United Iraq party murdered on eve of elections:Total breakdown closer every day

Iraq mayhem 'ready to explode' into wider middle east conflict

Wave of attacks hits Shia and Sunni areas of Iraq as the middle east breakdown is unstoppable

Wave of attacks hits Shia and Sunni areas of Iraq, killing at least 57: The attacks, some of which hit market places and crowded bus stops during the morning rush hour, pushed the death toll in Iraq since Wednesday to more than 200.
The bloodshed over the past week has been reminiscent of the retaliatory attacks between Sunnis and Shiites that pushed the country to the brink of civil war in 2006-2007. Tensions have been worsening since Iraq’s minority Sunnis began protesting what they say is mistreatment at the hands of the Shia-led government.

*Call to arms in Iraq after deadly Kirkuk clashes: The call comes after dozens of people were killed and injured when Iraqi security forces stormed a Sunni Muslim anti-government protest camp in Hawija, near Kirkuk, on Tuesday. The raid on the protest was followed by an attack on Iraqi army checkpoints. Nine Iraqi army members have been killed so far.

Iraqi Premier Nuri al-Maliki has ordered the establishment of a fact-finding mission to investigate the details of the Hawija incident. Meanwhile, Iraqi Parliament Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi labeled the incident in Hawija as a “catastrophe,” adding that the army’s action against the protesters was a “flagrant violation of the constitution.” To recap what of late brought this on:

Bush started this civil war he knew would be the result of his illegal attack on Iraq so he could get back in to the middle east to help Israel. Sectarian Fighting Worsens in Iraq

Iraqi Army Regains Control Of Sunni Town

Iraq death toll reaches 195 after explosions target four Baghdad area mosques

Iraqi PM calls for dialogue to stop 'sectarian civil war'

It will not be stopped and before Bush's illegal attack he was warned of this. He as you know ignored all good advice.

Bush still swears this was a success and history will vindicate him. Iraq's breakdown that he guaranteed with his illegal attack will spread throughout the middle east. Now it will be aided by Syria's breakdown spreading throughout the middle east. Turkey is already preparing to go into Syria after Turkish, Iraqi, and Syrian Kurds forming up and attacking from Syria. The total middle east breakdown we have seen coming and talked about from day one is fast approaching.

The breakdown Sunni against Shiite against Kurd was guaranteed the day Bush ignored all good advice to the contrary and attacked Iraq. It was guaranteed as soon as we left whether we left today or were stupid enough to hang around longer as Republican nominees are wrongly criticizing Obama for not doing. From Iraq it will spread throughout the entire middle east compliments of Bush not Obama.

The International Committee of the Red Cross, in a report titled "Iraq: No Let-up in the Humanitarian Crisis," writes, "Despite limited improvements in security in some areas, armed violence is still having a disastrous impact. Civilians continue to be killed in the hostilities. "The injured often do not receive adequate medical care. Nothing has changed people except in some cases to get worse.

Millions of people have been forced to rely on insufficient supplies of poor-quality water as water and sewage systems suffer from a lack of maintenance and a shortage of engineers." "Nothing has changed people but we are leaving them to their own demise and it will spread through the entire middle east."

Both Amnesty and the Red Cross slam the Iraqi government for failing to grapple with the critical needs of their populations.

The two reports cited a litany of concerns that will not be corrected, including severe widespread poverty, a lack of food and water, and broken families left to scrounge for whatever they can find to get by. Both reports described a situation that shows no sign of clear improvement. Many women "have been forced to wear Islamic dress or targeted for abduction, rape or killing. That is not to speak of the more than 2 million permanent nomads because of Bush's and Obama's.

If Bush had stayed in Afghanistan as he should have instead of diverting from the war on terror to attack Iraq so he could start implementing his new middle east order, Iraq may still have a Dictator but they would have security, electricity, water, fuel, and a lot more than they have now or will have in the future. We will never be able to bring services anywhere close to the level they were at when Saddam was in power. It is laughable to think that anyone thought they would be better post Saddam.

The Congressional investigation into reconstruction in Iraq found that six out of eight projects the Bush administration claimed to be a success were falling apart, throwing doubts over the long-term viability of much of the $30 billion program. I have to tell you, the entire program, the surge, Democracy, everything, was guaranteed lost from the get go. What ever is built will be destroyed.

The report looked at hospital projects that at last count their was one capable of operating at all and that great success. Each sect is only concerned with looking out for their own interest and future and as we are told to ignore everyday because it is not "the reality on the ground" reality is much worse! The inspectors found serious plumbing and electrical failures due to looting, equipment lying idle to me primarily because people are scared to death to venture out into the reality Bush has created for them. This 2007 report blames Iraqi's for the disaster Bush created and still exists today From the Political system to the oil Industry, Hospitals, electricity, plumbing, security, everything, It will not be turned around and will only get a lot worse before it spreads throughout the entire middle east.

In closing, the 2009 report:The humanitarian situation remained alarming. According to the UN, at least 4 million Iraqis still did not have enough food, around 40 per cent of the population did not have access to clean drinking water, and 30 per cent did not have access to adequate health care services. The education system was near collapse with schools and universities lacking essential materials such as books, and teachers and students terrorized by violence. Many schools were bombed. The unemployment rate remained extremely high at 50 per cent or even higher. If this is success the entire middle east is screwed!

In the middle of our "success" I still see a total civil war Sunni against Shiite erupting in the Middle East because Bush freed up Iran to instigate it on their end and they are. I still am concerned we will have a permanent presence in the Middle East but feel we will have to largely leave Iraq to her own demise. We will still be there but it looks like Yemen, and the Gulf of Aden will be the prime focus unless Iran gets something going between the US and Iran.

As you know, I talk about it often as I watch Bush's new Middle East (dis)order progress. He ignored Afghanistan so he could use the patriot acts powers to divert from Afghanistan to attack Iraq using the excuse of unseating Saddam so he could get in the Middle East to help Israel establish a buffer zone and establish a new middle east (dis) order or so Israel and Cheney thought. Bush at Cheney's urging made an abrupt shift in policy towards Syria, a shift that has now brought the entire Mideast region to the brink of war and chaos. Much worse than the hell on earth they created for Iraq. Did you ever read A clean Break a 2003 Executive intelligence Review that tells the truth as to our diabolical plans

That plan was put together in 1996 for Israel. They were just waiting for an idiot to come along so they could implement their plan for the Middle East. Along came the life long follower and life long alcoholic loser Georgie Bush. I wish I could say the rest is History but this is still barely beginning and just beginning to take shape. All Bush did by ignoring Afghanistan and attacking Iraq was to guarantee a loss of everything and a complete Middle East and Asian Breakdown.

We freed Iran up to pursue her version of new middle East order by interfering wherever she could while Bush was doing the same thing with his Middle East Democratization program. I think you can see how successful Bush and Cheney were with chaos creating Middle East Democracy program but you are barely seeing the results they created in Iran.

The goal absolutely is to be the country who decides which direction the new Middle East (dis)order will take. Bush started it by attacking Iraq to get into the middle east to destabilize it and start the new middle east order the idiot said God told him to do now it will be up to Iran and Saudi Arabia at least up front fight it out whether this goes the Iranian Shiite way or the Saudi Arabian Sunni way and do not forget Israel!

You know I firmly believe and have said so a million times by now that since 9/11 everything was construed to allow Bush to gain the power he needed to prosecute his new order not just in the Middle East but on the entire world! He diverted from Afghanistan to get back into the Middle East with the goal of setting up a larger safety zone for Israel and going after Iran. Both will fail! It has long been my contention that coming to Israel's aid once they attack Iran will be our in to Iran!

What about the Kurds who want their autonomy and they do not want to share their oil fields period. Nuri Al-Maliki wants that issue resolved and it will never be. The entire middle east and north Africa and our more than century of interference and exploitation can take the blame for that too.

Bush has created a hell on earth for Iraq that he still calls liberty and success with promises to spread it throughout the entire Middle East Sunni against Shiite and it is. Shiite Iran and Hezbollah backed by Russia is not going to abdicate their stance in the middle east.
Quite the opposite as you are still just seeing the beginning of the total middle east breakdown Bush guaranteed with his illegal attack on Iraq. Saddam was lying about having WMD because he wanted to keep Iran in control.
Bush freed up Iran to take the lead role in the middle east to achieve their idea of a new middle east order and not ours, Israels, or Sunni Saudi Arabia's.

Abbas: Palestinians keen to see Kerry's peace efforts succeed but Israel will not let them

US Secretary of State John Kerry may return to the region next week as part of his efforts to revive the stalled peace talks between the Palestinian Authority and Israel, Palestinian officials in Ramallah said Tuesday.

PA President Mahmoud Abbas emphasized that the Palestinians were keen on making Kerry's mission succeed. Abbas reiterated his demand that Israel halt settlement construction and release Palestinian prisoners in order to pave the way for the resumption of the peace talks.

Releasing prisoners to make Palestine think Israel is sincere and wants a two State solution is routine standard fare for Israel. That said, settlement building continues because Israel does not want a two State solution. Their idea of a 2 State solution is Israel taking everything she wants and keeping Palestine subservient and limited to land Israel does not want.

While UN Security Council permission for a Palestinian state might be blocked by veto-wielding permanent members such as the U.S., approval by the UN General Assembly would be legally binding, Abbas said in an interview with Al Arabiya television today. Israel still might try to block recognition by lobbying the U.S. Congress, he said.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said Israel will cooperate with a Palestinian state only if it is established through direct negotiations with Israel’s government. That is because tthey know damn well they will continue to negotiate until the end of eternity. They will never agree to share Jerusalem, they will never agree to a 2 state solution.

Forget it, Israel in their eyes are the only ones that matter and they do not want our 2 State solution period!

I wrote about it numerous times, to hell with Israel they are the problem. Netanyahu does not want peace until he gets everything he wants which includes all of Jerusalem. We have to take care of our own and let them hang themselves. Ahmadinejad was right in one thing when he said years ago that is Europe and the US felt so bad for what happened to the Jews in ww2 they should have given them part of their country. We would have no problem then.

I reiterate, Palestinian's have bent backwards: Lack of a peace solution to the Israeli crisis we created keeps being blamed on the Palestinians and I for one am quite sick of it! remember this? Israel could lease Palestinian lands in exchange for Palestinian Statehood I am thinking this can be done after all my apprehension. With Palestine rebuffing Iran, Iran would be the one left out in the cold.

Palestinian refusal to recognize Israel as a Jewish state shows they are not serious about two-state solution. What about Israel's refusal to go back to 1967 borders where they should be? to stop building settlements? or to let Palestine have a homeland free of Jews if they want? What about UN resolution 181 established in 1947? That should be made binding and without a vote by Israel.
remember this? PLO wants map from US with future Israeli border Can you blame them? No bargaining make Israel adhere to UN resolution 181, no alternative! It is more than fair and equitable.

The only thing to do is to force the instigating war mongers Israel to adhere to 181 or leave them to their own demise and Iran would see to it. You know, first reading how Israel and Palestine was allotted their territories in 1948 I do not condone that Israel has not been forced to adhere to that resolution. We, the US Britain and Europe especially are as guilty as Israel for not insisting Israel adhere to UN Resolution 181. UN Resolution 181

"In the eyes of Palestinians, the occupation began in '48 and not in '67," Ya'alon told Army Radio. "Not only Hamas thinks this – Abu Mazen [Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas does too." I think that too! I refuse to believe we took it upon ourselves to displace the Palestinians and give their land to the Jews in 1948 because we felt bad for them.

I hate to say it but I agree with Ahmadinejad that if Europe and the US felt so bad about what happened to Jews during WW2 then they should have given them part of their country. If they did we would not be in this situation. There will never be peace in the middle east unless there is an agreement to go back to UN Resolution 181 that was established in 1947.

We should in fact take care of Jewish American's and American's and our interests in Israel and otherwise tell them in no uncertain terms they are on their own if they continue to instigate war not peace and expecting us to come to their rescue. I love the way this is gaining momentum and I finally believe there is a chance for a two State solution but not peace in the Middle East. * The ball is in Israel's court not the world court where it should be!

Palestinians for their part are doing their share for peace but it is futile: They are willing to let Israel control the wailing wall and just want East Jerusalem as their capital but there is no way in hell Israel is going to give that up as they swear it belongs to them. It does not belong to them. They do not want peace unless they get everything they want and they will not. This will only end in war and we will be dragged in. That is why Bush ignored Afghanistan to get into the Middle East. Right from the get go helping Israel against Iran was the goal.

Again I reiterate there will never be peace in the Middle East, period! Israel wants it her way and Iran/Syria and others want Israel obliterated, period, seems like peace is in Palestinian hands and depends on how much they are willing to bend because Israel will not. Israel and Iran have long been in preparation for this confrontation. As you know, when asked by a journalist how he felt upon returning to Iran in 1979 after 15 years in exile.

Khomeini’s curt, one-word reply was “nothing” Whoa! From day one of his return to Iran Khomeini expressed no love for Iran only a love of the atom bomb. The drive even then was to possess a nuclear weapon though that desire is still denied until Iran can get their hands on one.

On the other side there is Israel who will give nothing and expects Palestinians to give up everything! I realized a long time ago that Israel is the world's chief war monger and we seem to do their bidding and fighting. If they get into a war with Iran we will end up coming to their rescue regardless of what they do or what Hillary says and that is sad! We should in fact take care of Jewish American's and American's and our interests in Israel and otherwise tell them in no uncertain terms they are on their own if they continue to instigate war not peace and expecting us to come to their rescue.

* The ball is in Israel's court and I do not like what they are doing with it as they want to hold the ball till they get their way. Well the heck with them, we have given enough!

Taliban offer to free Bowe Bergdahl for Guantanamo prisoners

Taliban offer to free US soldier for Guantanamo prisoners: The Afghan Taliban are ready to free a U.S. army soldier held captive since 2009 in exchange for five of their senior operatives imprisoned at Guantanamo Bay as a conciliatory gesture, a senior spokesman for the group said Thursday. The offer follows this week's official opening of a Taliban political office in Doha, the capital of the Gulf state of Qatar.
This would be great! Remember when Bergdahl was first captured retired Lieutenant Colonel Ralph Peters an ex army intelligence officer I have yet to find any proof of combat duty is willing to condemn PFC Bergdahl for desertion. He said if Bergdahl betrayed his fellow soldiers by deserting while in Afghanistan that he would not mind if the Taliban killed him and save the US time and money. I know Peters is a Faux news pundit but I refuse to believe him or anyone there will condemn a fellow American to serve their Political purpose.

I feel for this man, this is Afghanistan not the US. Do you remember the nonsensical rhetoric coming from Fox news? Fox News Contributor Ralph Peters: Taliban Should Kill Captured US
Bergdahl was captured June 30th 2009 under what is still unknown circumstances. Two US officials said Bergdahl appears to have just wandered off his post unarmed.
I also heard he just wandered into Town to visit Afghani's he thought had befriended him. I also heard he was drunk and wandered off base to be picked up by the Taliban. Also that he was grabbed by civilians and turned over to the Taliban. I am stunned to hear betrayal and desertion even from a Faux pundit.

I mean come on. This is Afghanistan. We are perceived as the invaders the infidels the enemy unwanted in their country. I can not envision anyone being that naive, that anti American that stupid as to go A.W.O.L. in Afghanistan. We heard the horror stories over the years. These people are among the most feared ruthless combatants in the world. Walk into their hands? Come on! Wandering into the Sahara Desert naked would be preferential.

Bergdahl is an American an American soldier an adventurer by those who know him. I refuse to believe he is totally stupid! Faux pundit Peters has an obvious proven pension for murder.A while back I remember him advocating the murder off journalists by our military. Peters calls for military killing of Journalists

I guess they can be thankful they are going to Stateside prisons because in the past he has also advocated killing all the prisoners in Gitmo. I do not have to remind you that many were known to be innocent.

Many people including me want to see Bergdhal rescued first and then find out the truth. Despite the idiocy expressed by Faux news pundits Bergdahl has a lot of Americans very concerned. Capture of US Soldier, 23, Shakes Small Idaho Town

It is bad enough knowing the Taliban have captured him. I really feel for him knowing the Haqanni's have him. They are ruthless! Sirajuddin Haqqani travels regularly into Afghanistan to coordinate with field commanders and occasionally to Peshawar and South Waziristan to connect with militants there.
