Cheney, the Greatest Con in History!

Last week in a Bush Administration reunion The war mongering liar Dick Cheney received the super-prestigious "Keeper of the Flame" award and watched as beloved Bush administration felon Scooter Libby was honored with the "Service Before Self" award for falling on the sword for Cheney and being a first class liar which was a prerequisite for being involved with the Bush mis Administration. Shit eating grins all around! However a retired General did slam Cheney for his war fighting ineptitude

It was shocking that criminal charges were never taken out against Cheney as it was obvious the arrogant scum lied about everything. Cheney when questioned lied and said he did not remember anything about Joe Wilson, Valerie Plame, or Scooter Libby but there he is on a stage getting the Keeper of the Flame Award for being treasonous next to Scooter receiving the Service Above Self Award for sacrificing himself to protect Cheney. They all had great laughs as they got away with their treason and were rewarded it for it.

That lying war mongering arrogant scum said I don't remember "72" times. That unequivocally means "I'm lying" I do not care what you think, I do not have to cooperate with you peons, and you can't touch me ..I.. (You know what that means? up yours! They are both famous for that. Bush and Cheney were and are lying, Scooter Libby continues to lie. He fell on the sword for Cheney and was issued the "service Before Self" Award. I just do not get it! How do they continue to get away with this FU in your face lying arrogance thumbing their nose at us and America and putting the Democrats down and get away with it?

Libby and Cheney along with the whole bunch of cronies on the stage had sh@* eating grins knowing we lied and we not only got away with it but got awarded for it. Cheney had memory loss when Federal investigators questioned him. He had amnesia, he doesn't remember, he has no recollection. That lying crap who once bragged about never forgetting anything. Remembering everything! I wish he was still in that undisclosed location. I wish he would cut the obvious lying BS. I can not believe he continues to get away with these lies!

This idiot doesn't act like a vice President. He acts like the guilty defendant he is! We are powerless to do anything about it! We were flat out lied to until Cheney and Bush found a lie people would believe so they could attack Iraq to start what they thought would be their new middle east order but you know it as disorder.

Libby's own notes prove Cheney lies but it does not bother Cheney he does not digress. Scooter had Valerie Plame issues he discussed with Cheney written down and Cheney still gets away with lying saying he doesn't remember any of it. Who cares if he remembers it, we know he did it! How does he get away with saying he doesn't remember? All he could remember is that he had nothing to do with the treasonous act of outing Plame as a CIA agent because her husband disagreed with the lies he and Bush were saying.

He said he knew absolutely nothing about who outed Valerie Plame when Scooter Libby had it written on paper that Cheney told him. I don't get it? Libby is now a felon and they give ham a friggen Award for it. Service above self yeah lying for Cheney at our and the world's expense. This all sickens me! We are lied to beginning to end and they laugh at us. WTF? What about Karl Rove who they said was not involved and we found out he was and we could do nothing about it?

We never got the truth and we never will! As usual when someone finally does tell the truth they are just dismissed as a conspiracy theorist or a disgruntled employee. Bush declassified information at Cheney's request who then gave it to Libby to leak! Valerie Plame was outed, no one remembers anything, and their are accolades sh@* eating grins and awards all around, have a nice day!

Cheney treated the media and all of us with total disdain and still is in his attempt to make Obama fail. He knows everything but tells nothing unless it benefits his lies. He is a totally lying fascist war mongering scum and we will never be able to hold him accountable nor will we and the world ever recover from their all pervasive damage for years to come if ever!

Once again I must digress from covering very important events as McClellan will testify before the House in CIA leak case! Is it too late? First...

I wanted to discuss our growing environmental crises, then I moved to our still just beginning economic crises that Bernanke stupidly thinks will get better. I also wanted to discuss the very real possibility that Israel will attack Iran before our elections giving Bush the excuse to come to their rescue and cancel our elections. I also wanted to discuss the Right's growing concern that McCain is unprepared to take on Obama as I firmly believe and am banking on watching him implode. I then moved to Republican Politicians increasingly losing control of every State and everything as we need to happen and they certainly deserve. However once again I must digress as the unraveling of Bush's orchestrated underhanded nightmare is increasingly coming to light though I firmly believe it is too late to do anything about it!

Yesterday I received this E from Representative Wexler as many of you may have. I correspond often but like and respect him more every time I hear him!

Anyway from Rep. Wexler: I am pleased to announce to you that the House Judiciary Committee has met my public call for Scott McClellan's immediate testimony with action: Today, Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers officially invited Mr. McClellan to testify under oath on Friday, June 20th at 10AM. After all of our hard work pushing for impeachment hearings for Vice President Cheney

– the McClellan hearing provides our cause with a legitimate opportunity to showcase the crimes and violations of this Administration for the American people, the mainstream media, reluctant members of the Democratic party, and sensible Republicans. This hearing provides us our first genuine opportunity to enter the public consciousness and change the dynamics that have prevented true accountability for Bush and Cheney. Mr. McClellan was a major figure in the Valerie Plame/CIA scandal, as well as a leading propagandist for the Bush White House's deliberate attempts to hide the true costs of this war from the American public. As such, Mr. McClellan will testify under oath (and be subject to perjury charges should he lie) and be asked about the following matters:

What role did President Bush, Vice President Cheney , and key administration officials take in the effort to reveal the identity of covert CIA agent Valeria Plame Wilson – thus destroying her network and putting lives in jeopardy?

What role did President Bush, Vice President Cheney, and key administration officials take regarding the firing of U.S. Attorneys or political reasons?

What role did President Bush, Vice President Cheney, key administration officials take in conspiring to blatantly break U.S. and International laws prohibiting the use of torture?

* I call on Mr. McClellan to immediately accept this invitation and testify under oath as he previously agreed to while being interviewed on national television. During the hearing I will have roughly five short minutes to question Mr. McClellan and undercover the illegalities committed by this Administration – which is why it is critically important that every representative on the Judiciary Committee hears your voice. Please let them know that you demand answers to these questions. Nor should it stop there: Karl Rove has thumbed his nose to the Judiciary Committee's subpoena – joining Harriet Miers, Joshua Bolten and Vice President Cheney's Chief of Staff David Addington as the only Administration officials in history to claim Congress has no power to even bring them before a committee to be questioned. I have called for Karl Rove to be held in inherent contempt and for the other renegade officials to appear as required by their subpoenas, or be forced to do so by the House Sergeant of Arms. What the Judiciary's request of McClellan proves is that if we stay vigilant – if we call loudly and repeatedly for accountability - that we become very difficult to ignore. Please stay tuned. I hope for more developments soon. With great respect,Congressman Robert Wexler

I decided to go with this once I found the subject being covered on Faux and thought it might be too late at this point but maybe something will finally proceed with this crap, deceit, and treason. President Bush's former spokesman, Scott McClellan, will testify before a House committee next week about whether Vice President Dick Cheney ordered him to make misleading public statements about the leaking of CIA agent Valerie Plame's identity. McClellan will testify publicly and under oath before the House Judiciary Committee on June 20 about the White House's role in the leak and its response, his attorneys, Michael and Jane Tigar, said on Monday.

** In his new book, "What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington's Culture of Deception," McClellan said he was misled by others, possibly including Cheney, about the role of I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby in the leak. McClellan has said publicly that Bush and Cheney "directed me to go out there and exonerate Scooter Libby." The statements prompted House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers, D-Mich., to invite McClellan to the hearing "concerning reported attempts to cover up the involvement of White House officials in the leak of" Plame's identity. Plame's CIA identity was leaked to the news media by several top Bush administration officials in 2003, including Libby and former top White House political adviser Karl Rove. Last July, Bush commuted Libby's 2 1/2-year sentence, sparing him from serving any prison time after being convicted of perjury, obstructing justice and lying to the FBI. McClellan will testify before the House

You know the shit came right from the very top right from the beginning. As the world and America appears to be crumbling is it too late to stop or do anything about any of it?

As soon as I heard Libby paid his fine my thought was we will pay him for committing treason!

The payment, of $250,400, which included a "special assessment" of costs, was paid by a cashier’s check dated July 2. A spokeswoman for Mr. Libby, Barbara Comstock, said he paid the fine out of his own pocket. I wouldn't believe that either but that is not what I wanted to discuss. http://www.nytimes.com/2007/07/06/washington/06libby.html?_r=1&oref=slogin
I knew these fools would have the last laugh! My immediate thought first went to the fact that we would have to reimburse him when Bush gives him his pardon and he will. I thought a refund would be automatic then I found out that Technically he can get it but it won't be easy. Once a convicted criminal pays a fine, the treasury can't issue a refund even if that person is later exonerated. For Libby to get back his 250 Gs, Congress would need to pass a law to make the funds available. Or it's possible that President Bush could issue a customized presidential pardon that specifies a refund.
http://www.slate.com/id/2169860/nav/fix/
I couldn't in my wildest dreams see Congress passing a law making those funds available but I can absolutely see Bush issuing a customized presidential pardon that specifies a refund. My first thought in that regard was OMG Bush is going to make us pay interest lost during the time the money was in the Feds hands and we will in effect have paid Libby to commit treason against us, America, and our Constitution. I wouldn't doubt that at all. One final slap in the face.
I was thinking about that then I realized that after years of investigation and the long trial we already spent untold millions only to have him released and that we already paid. When I say we I mean average Americans because Bush gives the rich their tax contributions back. Then I started thinking about the tremendous cost of all this and realized the monetary cost will pale to the irreparable damage to the Constitution and our rule of law in the future.
The damage to the future of America is incalculable and it will carry on forever I am afraid. The damage to our system of Government that relies heavily on integrity is damaged forever and the standard of do whatever you want to get what you want with no concern for the law has been set right from the top and it will filter all through society. You have to wonder about our future and realize that Bush has done a lot more damage than just the obvious.
