Q&A: Iran nuclear issue

This is the most comprehensive list of stories I have seen period involving Iran's nuclear program and efforts to stop it. Of course they do not come from the US but are compiled by the BBC. There are some very important facts once again never mentioned so I will supply the links, peruse them, and click on the ones you are interested in. At the end of the list of the links I will supply the beginning and the end to Iran's nuclear issue.

We gave Iran their start in the fifties they are not going to stop and we will not know where they are till they possess a nuke.

We gave Iran their start in the fifties and once Khomenei returned from exile their efforts to control the middle east and develop nuclear power and weapons began in earnest. As you know, when asked by a journalist how he felt upon returning to Iran in 1979 after 15 years in exile. Khomeini’s curt, one-word reply was “nothing” Whoa! From day one of his return to Iran Khomeini expressed no love for Iran only a love of the atom bomb. The drive even then was to possess a nuclear weapon though that desire is still denied until Iran can get their hands on one.

I have tried to give Iran the benefit of the doubt when they say their nuclear desires are peaceful knowing they could use nuclear power as an energy source for their growing population. I have always asserted that perceived need could be cover for the real goal of developing a nuclear weapon.

The nuclear program of Iran was launched in the 1950s with the help of the United States as part of the Atoms for Peace program. The support, encouragement and participation of the United States and Western European governments in Iran's nuclear program continued until the 1979 Islamic revolution that toppled the Shah of Iran. We are so concerned about Pakistan and Iran today in regard to nuclear abilities and nuclear weapons and security. I was blown away to find out that we built the first nuclear Reactors in both Iran and Pakistan. Nuclear program of Iran - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia atoms for peace

I would have to assume this was after we overthrew the democratically elected President of Iran Mohammad Mosaddeq to install our ruthless puppet the Shah of Iran. We built and supplied Iran's first reactor because we thought we were in control. What the hell is wrong with us? That makes us personally responsible for the 1979 Revolution in Iran, the capture of our hostages, the disaster in the desert after a failed attempt to rescue them, the rise of the Revolutionary Guard, the protesters dilemma, the nuclear issue in Iran today, everything!

You know from numerous discussions here that Iran is involved in every Middle Eastern country not just Yemen, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia where they have corrupted elections for Shiite interests in Iraq, backing rebels in Yemen, and instigating attacks on Saudi oil fields. Bush freed Iran to instigate far and wide and are even training Taliban on their border. Any new actions will only serve to worsen their instigation and cause them to cause chaos everywhere they can and further Bush's total Middle East breakdown Period.

You know, I have long said that Iran’s civilian nuclear program is a cover for their nuclear weapons program. They have been working at this for over 60 years nobody can seriously think anything can stop them without direct confrontation after they have gone this far. That would mean war whether it's Russia, the US or China. All we can hope for is that it is kept limited and not allowed to develop into WW3.

Daughter of former Iranian president Rafsanjani jailed, son returns from exile to face incitement charges

Daughter of former Iranian president jailed The jailing of Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani's daughter was announced Sunday morning in a statement published by the prosecutor's office in Tehran: "Faezeh Hashemi was arrested Saturday to serve her sentence," it stated. The Fars news agency reported she was detained in Evin Prison in Tehran.

Faezeh Hashemi Rafsanjani was among the thousands of protesters arrested during the protests that erupted after the announcement of the election results in 2009. Authorities had earlier released the daughter of the former president, but she was sentenced in late 2011 for six months in prison for "propaganda against the regime". Her sentence had hitherto not been applied. A son of Rafsanjani, Mehdi Hashemi, also referred to a judicial proceeding, left Iran three years ago and lives in London.

Ex-Iranian president's son returns from exile in UK: Ex-Iranian president's son returns from exile in UK,Rafsanjani will face charges of inciting unrest following the 2009 election of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.: The son of former Iranian president Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani returned to Iran from exile to answer charges of inciting unrest after a disputed election in 2009, fueling speculation that Rafsanjani's influence in Tehran may once again be growing.

A look back at a very tenuous time for Iranian's and you can bet the issue is not settled yet in Iran. As usual it goes underground seethes and resurfaces later.
Protesters clash with security forces, who, it is reported, have detained the daughter of Iran's former president, Faezeh Rafsanjani, the daughter of ex-president, Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, has been among those arrested for participating in the protest.

Reports of new protests in Iran as Anti-government protesters have gathered in Tehran and other cities to honor two who died during earlier demonstration. This is not good!
The government had warned that it would crack down on any illegal gatherings. What a coincidence that the Fars News Agency, affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards "whose really in charge" warned the public that Sunday's protests would be bloody because "opposition plans to shoot people." That, opposition groups worry, could be an attempt to build a justification for a violent crackdown and you can count on the fact this just gave cover to the IRG and Basij to murder as many as possible.

Iran's opposition has raised the stakes by openly labeling the struggle as a fight against "a religious dictatorship," according to a statement. The statement, endorsed by opposition leaders Mir Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi, appears for the first time to give the opposition's goal some clarity after tens of thousands of supporters took to the streets of Iran calling for regime change last Monday. "

The system governing Iran now is neither Islamic nor a Republic. The Islamic Republic has already collapsed at the hands of this regime," said Mr. Karroubi on Friday, in one of his harshest criticisms of the government, according to his website citing a message he sent to supporters through an advisor.

Karroubi dares Tehran to try him, the opposition leader, who is currently under house arrest, says people should get to know the truth. I agree and the whole world should call for a trial!

It's about time! They will never get the truth out to the country though nor do the multiple millions in the IRG and Basij and their millions of fascist followers want the truth out.

As you know, the IRGC was set up to protect the ruling authority after 1979 and are supposed to be controlled By Ayatollah Khamenei's authority. I know Ahmadinejad and 2/3 of his first 21 member cabinet are ex IRGC members and that simply reinforces that I am increasingly led to think the IRGC has become the final authority not the Supreme leader.

The Supreme leader is appearing as a puppet needed to keep the religious leaders together and to make it appear that they are still in charge. They have become a major force capable of taking control of Iran and I am afraid nothing less than that is what has happened.Iran is not going to let their fascist agenda be stopped now.

We gave Iran their nuclear start in the fifties they are not going to stop and we will not know where they are till they possess a nuke.

I'll tell you, Iran is not Syria or Libya. If and when the so called Arab spring hits Persian Iran it is going to be hell for those people. You know what the IRG did to the people during the election protests. They slaughtered and jailed anyone looking for truth and Democracy`.I am afraid that will be mild compared to what they are capable of.

6 powers bridge differences at nuclear meeting, agree on resolution critical of Iran to no avail

6 powers bridge differences at nuclear meeting, agree on resolution critical of Iran: The United States and its Western allies have persuaded Russia and China to support a resolution critical of Iran’s nuclear defiance in hope of showing Israel that diplomacy is an alternative to military force in pressuring Tehran, diplomats said Wednesday.

The resolution, which demands that Iran stop activities that could be used to make nuclear arms, cannot be enforced by the 35-nation board of the International Atomic Energy Agency, even if approved by vote or consensus as expected Thursday. But with Israel increasingly floating force as an alternative to failed international efforts to curtail suspected Iranian nuclear activities, the document is significant in seeking to show world-power resolve in pursuing a diplomatic solution to the standoff.

Iran does not care what the US and its allies and Russia and China want them to do. They believe nuclear power is their Holt right. I am afraid they are going all the way with that so called right and are after the holy Grail, a nuclear weapon. We gave Iran their start in the fifties they are not going to stop and we will not know where they are till they possess a nuke.

Iran: Mir Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi 'arrested' some think killed!

Iran: Mir Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi 'arrested'

US Criticizes Iran's Detention of Opposition Leaders Tehran denies Mousavi and Krroubi were arrested and taken to Heshmatiyeh jail in Tehran but their staff and the BBC have reported it and that their wives were arrested with them and the US has criticized Iran's detention of the two opposition leaders as "unacceptable" and called for their release.

Iran security forces fired teargas and clashed with opposition supporters in Tehran on Tuesday when demonstrators were rallying to demand the release of two opposition leaders I thought the arrest didn't happen but the fight with the IRG and Basij did. This is really troubling! What will the people do?

The government had warned that it would crack down on any illegal gatherings. What a coincidence that the Fars News Agency, affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards "whose really in charge" warned the public that protests would be bloody because "opposition plans to shoot people." What a coincidence that he has disappeared and that no one did it.

This is a serious development for the protesters of this fascist regime. What will the IRG and the Basij do next? What will the people who know they are under Ahmadinejad's, the IRG, and the Basij's yoke do? This can be bad! As you know, the IRGC was set up to protect the ruling authority after 1979 and are supposed to be controlled By Ayatollah Khamenei authority. Opposition leader Mir Hossein Mousavi missing as tensions rise in Iran

Iran Vows to Block Opposition

Iran Opposition Leader Missing as Tensions Rise

Iran's opposition calls for more protests Opposition leader Mir Hossein Mousavi is calling on Iranians to rally on Sunday in an attempt to build on recent uprisings in the Arab world. Iranian authorities are planning a counter demonstration and they have arrested the leader Mir Hossein Mousavi. What do you think that is going to have for an effect?

Iran next? No way in hell, they will murder and slaughter their people and the people know it. Iran's regime make believe they are on the Arabs side but they want a resurgent dominant Persia once again and they "the IRG and the Basij" are not going to let their agenda be stopped after going this far.

Iranian lawmakers condemn protests; call for execution of leaders

As Iranian opposition groups threatened to rally in Tehran in support of the uprisings in Egypt and Tunisia, the BBC's Mohsen Asgari asks whether the Middle East political contagion could spread to Iran - the first non-Arab country. Mousavi, his wife Zahra Rahnavard, Karroubi, and many of the protest leaders have been arrested or are under house arrest. The people have taken to the roof tops again shouting God is great as they are afraid of being killed. You can bet they have Mousavi, his wife, and anyone else who knew about it. They just may have disappeared forever. How convenient! Now what are the protesters going to do?

There are dozens of police and security forces in the Vali-ye Asr Avenue [Tehran's largest street]... they have blocked entrances of metro stations in the area," a witness told Reuters. Critics say Ahmadinejad's government was moving to squash the potential for a repeat of pro-Democracy demonstrations that rocked the country after the 2009 election -- demonstrations that were ultimately put down by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. They have just begun!

Israel and the US willing to create a nuclear disaster to prevent a nuclear Iran

The New York Times reported on Sunday that the Stuxnet worm shut down a fifth of Iran's nuclear centrifuges in November. The newspaper said testing of the worm has been taking place for the past two years at a heavily guarded secret nuclear plant at Dimona in the Negev Desert. The US and Israel have been working on it for two years and of course there has been no official response from Israel to the story. The Worm in Iran's Nuke Program: Made in Israel?

Israel, US behind Stuxnet Virus affecting Iran's nuclear program You can bet on it!

Russia is in the hot seat and the drivers seat in Iran, it's up to them which one they take

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Tuesday that Iran needs to answer the demands of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) over its nuclear program. Iran needs to heed IAEA demands- Russia foreign min Save your breath unless you are going to take this seriously. Russia is loading Bushehr with uranium as you know. They can put themselves in the hot seat or insist on the IAEA inspectors or else. Iran will only listen if you slit their throat. Slitting their throat would be stopping the loading of uranium.

There is no way in hell Iran has a right to pick biased inspectors. Iran Claims Right to Pick UN Inspectors

Saudi's want bigger role in Iraq to counter Iran, Iran Ready for Confrontation with Israel, Bush's middle east breakdown imminent

ANALYSIS-Saudi wants bigger role in Iraq to counter Iran

Iran Ready for Confrontation with Israel

Ahmadinejad calls for "face to face talks" with Obama Xinhua Ahmadinejad says the US has so many nuclear bombs and fears Iran having even one. No kidding because Iran has threatened to use them if they had them and you can bet they will as they want to obliterate Israel.

Okay, I will make no excuses. This is going to be a bit lengthy but not as long as could or should be. This Middle East breakdown guaranteed by Bush after attacking Iraq to free Iran up to instigate throughout the Middle East is immanent. I will just reiterate 2 discussions we have had numerous times as they are coming to fruition:

Saudi-Iranian Neo Cold War:
At the same time as it denies cooperating with preparations for a potential Israeli attack on Iran, Saudi Arabia prepares for strike of its own. Saudi Arabia’s air force has signed a deal to upgrade its fleet of 150 strike aircraft and procure advanced weaponry to respond to an Iranian military threat while simultaneously denying reports that the country is coordinating with Israel over a possible strike against Iran’s nuclear sites.
Saudi's upgrading fighter jets to counter Iran's threat

“The Saudis are very worried about the growing power of Iran,”I use to be concerned that the old confrontation would erupt in war between Iran and at the least US armed Saudi Arabia?

You can not blame them but I had no idea the dissention goes all the way back to the naming of the Gulf. Saudi’s know it as the Gulf of Arabia and I can remember that but Iran calls it the Persian Gulf as the rest of us seem to now.

Both Iran and Saudi Arabia have been using Lebanon as their battlefront up to now able to avoid direct confrontation. Iran has pumped millions of dollars in supplies and arms much to the consternation of her suffering people while Saudi Arabia has been supporting the Palestinian Authority. As you know, Iran has many problems at home plus the UN who is trying to keep them from developing nuclear weapons. Now Iran is going to sanction attempting to break Israel's blockade of Gaza to take the heat off them and get direct confrontation with Israel going.

While the world had been engrossed following events in Iran since the election was stolen to keep fascist Ahmadinejad and he fascist agenda in control Iran has been fueling a rebel war in Yemen and what a surprise it has extended into Saudi Arabia. A propaganda war is also being waged. Egypt and Saudi Arabia have pulled the plug on Iran’s Arabic speaking TV. It makes me wonder why they did not do that during the height of the protests when Iran’s Government sanctioned channel was televising pure lies and propaganda? I find it hard to believe that Iran is that vulnerable in that area!

So far there has been no direct confrontation. However I absolutely saw what I have been warning about since Bush diverted from Afghanistan to attack Iraq and get back in the middle east to create a new middle east (dis)order! I do not give a damn what anyone says. Bush Cheney and their Democratization program in an already historically unstable middle east set all of this and more in motion!

The hell on earth Bush created for Iraqi’s will engulf the entire Middle East before it encompasses the entire world if we can not contain it. Under Bush we broke a long standing tradition of not adding fuel to the Middle East fire by supplying weapons. We are now, including advanced weaponry and missile defense systems. The Middle East breakdown Bush started armed and funded will continue under Obama. This up to now proxy war in the middle east is under way and Saudi Arabia is hoping Israel keeps Iran busy until the US is forced to come to their rescue as you know they will. Wait, watch, and listen, this is not good for the world and our future!

Israeli intelligence experts say that Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Jordan are at least as worried as themselves and the West about an Iranian nuclear arsenal.Israel has sent missile-class warships and at least one submarine capable of launching a nuclear warhead through the Suez Canal for deployment in the Red Sea within the past year, as both a warning to Iran and in anticipation of a possible strike.

When all is said and done we hear our navy is not over extended and I disagree but their assets will be used here but it would be tough on the country at a bad time. Food, gas and oil, will be rationed but as you know I have said before, knowing a nuclear Iran would to common sensed eyes mean a power balance in the middle east you have to come to the conclusion that is not wanted.

Israel will never accept a nuclear Iran and will attack. Whoever is President will come to their rescue! Once again war will occur to prevent war. That makes sense yeah! Again as I keep saying, at one time the threat of mutual destruction use to be a deterrence. Today it seems to be the goal.

I reiterate there will never be peace in the Middle East, period! Only the US wants it, Israel wants it her way and Iran/Syria want Israel obliterated, period. Israel and Iran have long been in preparation for this confrontation. The nuclear program of Iran was launched in the 1950s with the help of the United States as part of the Atoms for Peace program.[1] The support, encouragement and participation of the United States and Western European governments in Iran's nuclear program continued until the 1979 Islamic revolution that toppled the Shah of Iran.

That makes us personally responsible for the 1979 Revolution in Iran, the capture of our hostages, the disaster in the desert after a failed attempt to rescue them, the rise of the Revolutionary Guard, the protesters dilemma, the nuclear issue in Iran today, everything!

You know, I have long said that Iran’s civilian nuclear program is a cover for their nuclear weapons program. Now I see that Arab leaders feel the same way. They fear a nuclear arms race and I can only conclude that knowing how far along Iran is and how they feel that they are hedging their bets and it is already under way clandestinely.

On the other side there is Israel! I realized a long time ago that Israel is the world's chief war monger and we seem to do their bidding and fighting. If they get into a war with Iran we will end up coming to their rescue regardless of what they do or what Hillary says and that is sad! We should in fact take care of Jewish American's and American's and our interests in Israel and otherwise tell them in no uncertain terms they are on their own if they continue to instigate war not peace and expecting us to come to their rescue.

Remember Mordechai Vanunu whistle blower of Israel's clandestine nuclear program? Uzi Eilam former head of Israel's Atomic Energy Commission said Mordechai Vanunu did Israel a favor after revealing information about an illegal nuclear program at Israel's Dimona reactor. His information proved that Israel had broken the 1968 treaty on nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation.

There is a US law that prohibits the support of countries that break the treaty in question. Vanunu's information led foreign experts to conclude that Israel had produced fissile material for as many as 200 atomic warheads thus warning other Nation's of Israel's military might. It was okay for Israel why the hypocrisy? Remember Mordechai Vanunu whistle blower of Israel's clandestine nuclear program? It was okay for Israel why the hypocrisy? Remember this discussion? The US will pay the price for Israel and US nuclear lies and hypocrisy after Israel attacks!

I must admit Israel's hypocrisy and lies are a plan I have discussed often and I have to disagree with Eliam's final assertion. He says an attack on Iran's nuclear program would be counter productive. I beg to differ! The General hit the nail on the head though and does not know it. I have long asserted that Israel would attack Iran's nuclear interests and we would come to her rescue.

That is a fact that is why I find his final statement troubling and prophetic. He correctly said One strike is not practical. In order to delay the Iranian program for three to four years one needs an armada of aircraft, which only a super-power can provide. Only America can do it. Bingo! You know from numerous discussions here that Iran is involved in every Middle Eastern country not just Yemen, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia where they have corrupted elections for Shiite interests in Iraq, backing rebels in Yemen, and instigating attacks on Saudi oil fields. Bush freed Iran to instigate far and wide and they are.

Israel is not going to back down. When all is said and done they know the US will be there for them. It is time for Iran to put up or shut up! I am sure the US plans to come to Israel's rescue and do it largely from the Gulf with numerous carrier fighter groups and they are almost finished with their 30000 pound bunker buster behemoth to take out underground facilities. Iran can negate that by paying for the Palestinian's power to help them and send food and medical supplies by accepted channels. If it is really war they want stop the blustering and get on with it!

* Well it is imminent!
