Tea party trouble for Republicans as Dick Armey: Tea Party Seeks 'Hostile Takeover' of GOP

I remember being disgusted when I heard Rick Santelli who in February 2009 called for a new "tea party" from the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. We are hearing that he reminded all of us that America was founded on the revolutionary principle of citizen participation, citizen activism and the primacy of the individual over the government. That's supposedly the tea party ethos. I seriously doubt it but check out the links if curious.

Dick Armey's Tea-Party Coup‎ The movement is not seeking a junior partnership with the Republican Party. It is aiming for a hostile takeover.

Armey: Tea Party Seeks 'Hostile Takeover' of GOP Armey stated: "Let us be clear about one thing: The tea party movement is not seeking a junior partnership with the Republican Party, but a hostile takeover of it." That is a good thing he said and I have to agree it is a good thing but for the Democratic party!

I for one needed no reminder certainly by Rick Santelli and the majority of the ilk that call themselves tea partiers wanting to protect the Constitution and "get their country back" from our black President who happens to be a constitutional lawyer who loves the constitution as it was meant to be interpreted not the fascist Republican interpretation of the constitution or should I say rewriting of the aforementioned constitution.

Some of us were calling for a tea party movement, a second revolution, when it was really needed when Bush usurped the constitution as he was the sole decider and called the constitution "just a damn piece of paper".He purposely brought America to its knees in his quest to widen the gap between the classes eliminating the middle class and further enriching the upper class as he created a new societal order. The fascist Republican order.

That was when we needed to come together take to the streets and stand up and take our America back, take back the America of we the people. These so called patriotic tea partiers want the white supremacist America back is what I gather and I am very concerned as you know, about Republicans getting back in to finish off us and the Bush agenda off.

You know that includes social security, Medicaid, and Medicare, as that is socialism and aiding the elderly sickly and retired are bankrupting their version of America. You who truly love this country as it was meant to stand better stand up and be heard especially at the polls to beat back those who want to stop the restoration of our America.

Sounds like they're desperate Jim. They've pissed off just about every group I can think of including blacks, hispanics, the unemployed, muslims, gays, the middle class and the poor. Did I leave anybody out? So who do they have left to vote for them? A bunch of uneducated Faux Noise viewers and their Wall Street buddies. Not a very large voter base if you ask me.

Great comment! Knowing you are right you have to agree with Biden and wonder why the Republicans keep saying they are going to win in a landslide this fall unless they are trying to fool the fools into saying the heck with it and vote Republican then.

I'm really looking forward to today's primaries in AZ and elsewhere. Those chickens are coming home to roost.

Hi Vicki! Yes, I agree with Biden that enough people know that Republicans want to bring us back to Bush. I am sick of hearing we have to forget about Bush and stop blaming him for everything.

BS! He did all of this and then rode off proud of this disaster. If they take over again they will finish us off!

I predict that the TeaBuggerer will win the GOP nomination for the Arizona Senate. No matter eho wins that race, he's a TeaBuggerer.

Isn't it sad that McConJob was once a Republican with principles?

Hi Tom, He is a slime but I have to agree. It cost him 20 million but that is no constellation.

What stuns me is that the Klanbaggers haven't figured out that Armey is the consummate insider politician. They could be led right over a cliff. All you'd have to do is put on a white sheet, get in front of them, and walk.

Great post and thread!

i'm still waiting for tea partiers to mention that the Boston Tea Party was actually perpetrated by Freemasons dressed as American Indians, not by 'regular folk' at all!

Doesn't matter really, but if you're going to model yourselves on historical actors dissenting from government you should at least get your roles right. Jude

Thanks Jude! You made me research the freemasons again "a society I once aspired to join" Look at this:

Most Americans have no idea or knowledge of what Freemasonry is or its purpose. They are ignorant of the important historical role Freemasonry has played in the founding this country and influencing the start and outcome of the French Revolution in 1789. Most Americans see the Masons as some harmless fraternal organization that does benevolent acts and provides charity for the needy. However, here are a few historical facts that prove the influence of the Masons in establishing America.

• Masons of the St. John’s Tea Party Lodge and the St. Andrew Lodge dressed up like Indians, carried out the Boston Tea Party, which occurred before the American Revolution, December 16, 1773.

• Of the 56 signers of the “Declaration of Independence,” between 55 to 53 were Freemasons according to the A. Ralph Epperson’s book The Unseen Hand and Jim Marr’s book Rule by Secrecy.

• Of the 55 members of the Constitutional Convention, all but 5 were Masons and the majority of the members of the Continental Congress were also Masons (New World Order by William Still, p. 61).

• “All the staff officers Washington trusted were Masons and all the leading generals of the Army were Masons,” according to the book The Unseen Hand (p. 130). According to book New World Order by William Still, twenty-four of George Washington’s major generals were masons and thirty of thirty-three brigadier generals were Masons (p. 61).

• Masons designed The Great Seal of the United States with its esoteric symbols. According to The Unseen Hand (p. 127), these Masons were Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and John Adams who also appointed the Continental Congress in July 4, 1776. Professor Charles Eliot Norton of Harvard University said that the Great Seal of the USA was a reflection of the Masonic Fraternity. William Still quoted him. “The device adopted by Congress is practically incapable of effective treatment; it can hardly look otherwise than as a dull emblem of a Masonic Fraternity (p. 66).”

• Mason Benjamin Franklin obtained finances and guns for the American Revolution from leading French Masons and the French government.

• According to the book New World Order: The Ancient Plan of Secret Societies by William T. Still (p. 21), seventeen U.S. Presidents were Masons: Washington, Monroe, Jackson, Polk, Buchanan, Andrew Johnson, Garfield, McKinley, Teddy Roosevelt, Taft, Harding, F. D. Roosevelt, Truman, Lyndon Johnson, Ford, and Reagan. Three other presidents: Jefferson, Pierce, Taylor, are strongly believed to be Masons. According to William T. Still, this information was obtained in the 1951 edition of Holy Bible, Masonic Edition.

• Masons have always had great influence on the U.S. Supreme Court, according to Paul Fisher’s book Behind the Lodge Door. He states: “The record shows that from the inception of the Supreme Court in 1789 through 1940, there never were more than three Masonic justices during term, except on two occasions.” Beginning with Mason President F. D. Roosevelt’s terms, through the first three years of President Richard Nixon’s term, Masons dominated the Court in a ratio of five to four beginning in 1941 to seven to two in 1946 (p. 14).

These are just a few facts that prove the power and influence of Freemasonry in this country. What is astounding is that very few of these facts are in the history books taught to Americans during their educational process. This further shows that the powers that be do not want these facts to be known. freemason US history

Thanks Cammie that was interesting! Any way you look at it if people do not come out and reelect him as I firmly believe they will we are screwed. Because those that want to create his and our Waterloo want to finish us and Bush's mis- agenda off!

The papacy of the Roman Catholic Church has condemned Freemasonry and in 1738 Pope Clement XII said Freemasons were their mortal enemy. Pope Leo XXII stated the purpose of the Freemasons was the“overthrow of the religions, political and social order based on Christian institutions and the establishment of a state of things based on pure naturalism.”

The question that should be asked is: since so many American presidents were and are Freemasons, why is their so little known about Masons? For those who have done the research, they know that the Freemasons are the largest and oldest secret organization in the modern world.

* Do they thereby govern the worlds future or whether and why we go to war?

JR I firmly believe the tea bagger idiots and the Republican party have grossly over played their hand. If we just come out to vote common sense will over rule if not we are screwed!
