First I have to believe that the announcement that the remains of 4 more victims of 9/11 were identified at the same damn time this farce of a hearing with its foregone conclusion of stay the course was designed to keep American fervor at a peak in Bush's asinine stay the course favor. During the ill advised attack on Basra that is being touted a success 1,000 Iraqi soldiers deserted with our weapons and equipment, maliki went home for a break, their soldiers tried to break for lunch, and once again we had to take the lead. Success? Yes, If you know what the real goal is.

I was just listening to the blatant lies being told by General Batrayus and Ambassador crock-a-shi@ and the BS is so blatant and obvious I am sickened. If you realize the real role of the surge or of attacking iraq and staying the course it is all success as is the allowed degradation of our America. Observing China's persecution of Tibetan's and being ignored by Bush it increasingly is looking like a case of you ignore my indiscretions and I'll ignore yours as the ignored world unrest will climax in a total world breakdown! Anyway you look at it once again I am going to update and reiterate the total failure Bush guaranteed the day he ignored all advice to the contrary and attacked Iraq so he could set us up to go after Iran and implement what he thinks will be his and Israel's idea of a new middle east order.

In that end As Basra is Bush and Petraeus's lie to continue a losing war TET proved both Johnson and Westmoreland's claims victory was at hand in Vietnam and the Viet Cong were defeated was NOT true. (Especially while they were occupying the US embassy in Saigon) Which is why Walter Cronkite made the statement he did after TET. And also why Lyndon Johnson knew TET doomed his re-election campaign. Also why the US army replaced the less then honest Westmoreland with Creighton Abrams in command of US forces in Vietnam. Just like the current fighting in Iraq has shown the surge did NOT do what Bush and McSame claimed it did, Especially after some Baghdad neighborhoods have been controlled by al Sadr's people after this latest fighting began. Try some truth and the real facts out of Iraq instead of fox lies spin and disinformation and of course Bush's total ignorance of anything connected with the truth ....

Uncontrolled chaos will grow as Maliki is fighting for control of the country and he is using Iraqi forces backed by the Hakim controlled Badr corps (which have NO connection to al Sadr) and Iran backed SCRI to do that. Sort of an Iraqi version of dis-enrollment of Iraqi voters who aren't going to vote they way they want, they haven't gotten to caging, using dishonest lists to illegally dis-enroll people who won't vote their ways, they try to drive them away. But they are learning the slimy tactics of the repugnants quite well. There is NO "extremists" fighting in this current Shiite battle, but the Iraqi version of a primary to decide who controls the Iraqi government at the local levels.To LIE about this is just the latest repugnants disinformation campaign about the illegal war they started. try reading the "pentagon papers", you know the pentagons OWN version of what happened in Vietnam from 1954 to 1968,( the one Nixon tried but failed to keep secret) it just might dispel some of the myths you keep spouting. It will breakdown to a total civil war as originally expected before the chief idiot ignored that fact. It will be Sunni against Shiite throughout the entire middles east with Israel and us in the middle until Russia, China, and the rest of the world get involved and this dissolves into Bush's new world order WW3 which will be Bush's Forever War!

This should be interesting: I have been gleaning various reports looking for information in regard to the upcoming Surge Report. I have been thinking of this because as far as I am concerned our troops have done their job well but that does not matter. I really do not know if the surge is working or not but I do know that the Iraqi infrastructure continues to fail and basic human needs can not even be met. What is called a Government has not and will not take security control of even 1 of the 1,200 construction projects and to me there is no sign of a viable Iraqi Government.
I was looking at the partisan efforts to paint the report to favor one party or the other and realized the report is worthless. The Associated Press has learned the Government Accountability Office, or GAO, will report that at least 13 of the 18 benchmarks to measure the surge of U.S. troops to Iraq are unfulfilled ahead of a September 15 deadline. That's when Bush is to give a detailed accounting of the situation eight months after he announced the policy, according to three officials familiar with the matter.
The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the report has not been made public, also said the administration is preparing a case to play down the findings, arguing that Congress ordered the GAO to use unfair, "all or nothing"

The Iraqi Government is a failure to me and I realized that because of the partisan posturing so each side could follow their own desires that once again we were not going to hear the truth from our Government. If you read the spin put on this report by each side you are as confused as I am. Then I found out that Ayad Allawi is returning to Iraq to take things under control.
Ayad Allawi said Sunday he will soon return to Baghdad to "reverse the course in Iraq." Speaking from Amman, Jordan, Allawi told CNN's "Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer," that al-Maliki leads a government loyal to Iran and Shiite interests. Allawi accused the prime minister of "supporting militias to take the rule of law in their hands." That really goes without saying in light of the role Ahmadinejad is playing with Al-Maliki. It is a little to cozy for neutrality. Allawi also said he would like to see the United States begin to withdraw troops immediately, but realizes the process could take more than two years.
"I would play my role in Iraq in whatever capacity is required to change Iraq into an unsectarian country, to a peaceful country, to a democratic country," Allawi said.
However, Allawi's ties to a powerful Washington-based GOP lobbying firm raised eyebrows. Allawi has hired Barbour Griffith & Rogers, a GOP lobbying firm that employs two of Bush's former foreign policy aides: Robert Blackwill served as Bush's envoy to Iraq and helped form Allawi's interim government in 2004, and Philip Zelikow formerly served as counselor to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

It seems to me that Allawi is just what Bush has been hoping for and at the same time I have to wonder who is funding Allawi's efforts. This could be Bush's out. I do not remember what the original problem was so I was curious as to Allawi's true intentions to unite Iraq until I saw Iran's response. Iran is after Allawi! The Iranian regime’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei described Allawi’s possible re-election as the Iraqi primer a “red line” not to be crossed at all costs.

Allawi supporters are being arrested and that tells me that Allawi at least appears to be the right man to unify Iraq but Iran for one does not want it. I have to believe they are showing their hand in coming out against Allawi and I for one wish him luck and have to wonder what Bush will do next.

"At approximately 11:30 a.m. there were four explosions," three of them that hit inside the Green Zone, Fintor said. The Green Zone is frequently the target of mortar and rocket attacks but I have to ask, we cannot even secure the Green Zone and the chaos is spreading throughout Iraq. This is success? How is it that every time a western Dignitary has a "surprise" visit at the Green Zone they seem to be attacked? Are insurgents somehow receiving advanced inside information?
You have to wonder if this is all success then what is Bush's real goal? You are left to believe that as we have been saying for years now that our troops and equipment must stay on line amidst Bush's success" until he can "succeed" in finding his excuse to attack Iran.

Way back it seems in another life time Bush declared Iraq's elections that were held under lockdown a success. We said to wait until the normal high security got back to its normal high and we would see just how bad things were going to get. As you know, every time the chief idiot declares a victory for the Iraqi people they fall even deeper into the hell on earth he created for them.
Anyway, I did a post then saying Iraqi's will be united but against us. Once they get rid of us they can turn on themselve's as they want. This has finally been declared as the goal. Now the renegade cleric Muqtada al-Sadr is urging the Iraqi army and police to stop cooperating with the United States, and telling his own guerrilla fighters to concentrate on pushing American forces out of the country.

With U.S. estimates of 5 to 7 thousand and independent estimates of 10's of thousands of Iraqi's shouting anti American rhetoric taking to the streets on the 4th anniversary of the fall of Baghdad calling for our immediate departure, you really have to wonder about the success of Bush's asinine surge.
10 more Americans were killed over the weekend raising the number of Americans killed to 3,280. Iraqi's are being asked to unite against us and they are. Bush's supposed goal of uniting Iraqi's seems to be a success brought to fruition by his surge.
If as we said, uniting Iraqi's was the goal then that appears to be accomplished at least until we are gone. Then they can unite against each other led by Iran and Saudi Arabia as was only one of the original scenarios Bush ignored so he could attack Iraq with the goal of destabilizing the middle east and going after Iran to complete his plan for the middle east.
They will be free to fight it out for dominance and Bush will have kept troops and equipment on line so he could use them against Iran as was only one of his original goals and he will have fully engaged his efforts at a new middle east order.

Then the chaos will really start!
