Taliban promise bigger, better, wider, carnage including insider attacks until we leave and they lead Afghanistan

Taliban vow massive suicide and "insider" attacks on anything and everything Foreign for spring offensive. They say it starts soon but it has already started. We have to get out of there in totality in 2014 as we promised and keep an eye on them from a distance.

 

 Taliban vow suicide and "insider" attacks: The start of the traditional "fighting season" is particularly important this year, with ISAF increasing the rate at which it hands security responsibility to Afghan forces before the withdrawal of most foreign troops by the end of 2014.

"Collective martyrdom operations on bases of foreign invaders, their diplomatic centers and military airbases will be even further structured while every possible tactic will be utilized in order to detain or inflict heavy casualties on the foreign transgressors," the statement said. Insider attacks, also known as "green on blue" attacks, involve Afghan police or soldiers turning their guns on their ISAF trainers and counterparts. They have grown considerably since last year and have strained relations between Kabul and foreign forces.

Taliban Attacks Highly Regarded Afghan Army Unit: Taliban insurgents dealt a serious blow to one of the Afghan Army’s most highly regarded units on Friday, killing 13 soldiers and overrunning their outpost in eastern Afghanistan. It was one of a series of bloody attacks by the insurgents during their current spring offensive that have helped to drive the rate of government fatalities to the highest level of the war.

Afghan soldiers and policemen are dying at more than double the rate a year ago, according to military officials. The numbers underscore how much more of the fighting has been handed over to Afghan forces and raise questions about how ready they are for the increased responsibility.

This was a so called fortified base held by one of the best units Afghanistan has to offer. This is happening all around the country and will increase as the fighting season is just beginning and as the end of 2014 when we supposedly pull out all our fighting forces comes closer.

The Taliban will persevere as they are indigenous. It is their country unless the people are smart enough to remember the horrible so called justice the brutal private mans club metes out.

They have us right where they want us. This is right where believers believe the end of days war will be fought. They do not want to let us out of the trap they want to keep us in it and they are.

Since we went into Afghanistan against my better judgment we should have gone all the way right of the bat and sealed the Afghanistan Pakistan Border cutting off the safe haven for the Taliban and their source of reinforcements.

As you remember, Bin laden and many of the leadership were trapped in Tora Bora right in that area. In the past I have said Bin Laden was allowed to escape so bush could use him to keep fervor up and Afghani's were credited with being responsible for his escape. We knew there were four ways out and only guarded three. We gave them a way out.

Not only that but I vaguely remember hearing about a 1,000 car caravan but it was never mentioned that we were bombing the area around it but allowed the 1,000 car caravan carrying the Bin Laden entourage to escape into Pakistan and at night, come on. Now this part really irks me and I for one never heard anything about it and still don't.

We have walked right into what many Muslim's believe is the End of Days Battlefield and they are not going to let us out willingly.

Now is the time I better remind you of something I first discussed 3 years ago because we really walked into this one but short of getting the hell out I don't know what else we could do at this time. With all my talk about Armageddon the Forever war and Pakistan Afghanistan being the front line this is frightening!

First it is a shame we do not ask Iran for help with the Taliban as Iran is on their menu too. Iran's hostility toward the Taliban predates Sept. 11: the Taliban's interpretation of Islam holds that the Shiite Muslims who dominate Iran are heretics, and an Iranian diplomat is among those being held by militants. Iranians are also concerned about the boom in opium poppy cultivation that has swept Afghanistan in the aftermath of the U.S. invasion."

We are in serious trouble as in my naivety I have hit the nail on the head more than a few times and have been right all along though ridiculed while this war against so called terrorism is perpetrated. I have said since 9/11 is like it or not will end up as a fight against all of Islam and nothing less than our survival is at stake.

I will sum up just one story that ties this whole mess together like it or not and that is "The Taliban get their first wish" As I never knew this and the entire world better frigging wake up because like it or not 9/11 was albeit a bad joke but just a joke as to what the future holds for us!

I had no idea when I mentioned that Pakistan and Afghanistan was the front line in this war against "Islamists" how right I was! finding this out just blew me away! I found out that many Muslim's believe that what is modern day Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Iran, is the promised land from where they will secure victory in the end of days battle which ultimately will be fought in Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria. Knowing this now makes sense of all the events we have been discussing with Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and to my surprise Iran. I had no idea Iran and the Taliban are enemies.

They feel it is theirs I only hope the people want it more than them. Any way you look at it our soldiers did their job meritoriously. 

Let them leave with their heads held high. Any way you look at I I am afraid I believe they will take over, I just hope they are smart enough to keep to themselves.

The Taliban seem to be trying to get the west to stay and they are

The abrupt deployment of U.S. forces near the border area with Pakistan has escalated tension in the militancy-plagued North Waziristan tribal region as U.S. forces immediately sealed the main Ghulam Khan- Khost highway for traffic. This stranded more than 900 loaded trucks, including those carrying NATO consignments, and passenger vehicles the whole day.

Pakistani security officials and tribal sources in Ghulam Khan area said U.S. forces had arrived there during the night between Saturday and Sunday and occupied nearby hilltops and established observation posts. The Lashkar, Pakistan's minutemen on steroids!

Pakistani tribesmen form their own Lashkar's to defeat the Taliban Lashkar is an armed military camp! I am impressed, I had to look it up so I could speak authoritatively on what tribe the Lashkar was and where they were from. They are not a tribe but are volunteers from many tribes. The Lashkar's are appearing in many areas, including Bajaur, in the tribal zone, and Dir and Buner in North-West Frontier province.

Lashkar's are armed military camps and the fighters volunteering to join them to fight and kill the Taliban fight for the Government and love their country they gladly leave their families and fight for nothing, eradicating the Taliban is their sole goal. One of the tribal leaders said there is a civil war, the people against the Taliban. Those at this Jirga came with their Russian machine guns from fighting in Afghanistan in the 80s talking of the horrors they saw committed by the Taliban in the Swat valley and vowed to kill them all.More than 10,000 volunteered to join.Pakistani tribesmen form their own Lashkar's to defeat the Taliban

I was lucky enough to find the article I watched on cnn two days ago on the Lashkar. This particular camp was in Dir. As the team approached the camp they were greeted by the firing of weapons in the air and much enthusiasm. I recommend watching the videos in this link they are quite impressive. The mountainous region is their home and they are tenacious and will happily fight to the death. They just want to kill Taliban and secure their country for Democracy. I love it!

I was very impressed watching these people. I just watched the video for the sixth time. I have never seen this kind of a greeting given to the Pakistani army and American reporters. We usually see the brandishing of weapons and zealous firing into the air and enthusiasm coming from the Taliban and other interests trying to take down one Government or another and to kill Americans. I recommend watching this I am not the only one who needs a boost. Volunteer militias push back Taliban

After a 2 hour drive into the mountains followed by a half hour climb even further in they came upon the camp high up into the rugged mountains overlooking the Swat valley. I can't say enough how impressed I was. I hate to say it but these reclusive tribesmen were even right on about America. "It's a democracy," said one of the Lashkar members. "They like peace in their country," said another. What they dislike most about America? "They're cruel to the Muslims," "They interfere with other countries" and "They promote peace within their borders," "But they're against peace in other countries." Man that is the truth and could have come from me!

* In closing I just want to say these men are fierce and not few in numbers. Their happy goal is too kill all the Taliban and secure their country. Only then they will happily lay down arms and go home. The monstrous Russian ground machine gun powerful enough to take down a helicopter shook the ground. To unschooled westerners this may seem ineffective today. However this is Pakistan. These are the rugged boarder mountains to Afghanistan. Many Taliban are apologizing to them and switching sides. These men are rugged and tough! Killing and dying is their game too and this is their turf they are defending!

These men are fighting on the Taliban's terms and on their own land not the Taliban's. They are deadly and will defeat them. My question is why is their zeal to kill the Taliban and their allies not broadcast daily to Afghani's? If they do not feel guilty and start taking care of business we should just leave or I reiterate once again just help Pakistan and concentrate on the border. The awesome action taken by the Lashkar getting arms ammunition and food from the Government in support of killing the Taliban is exactly what must occur in Afghanistan if there is to be any success!

I am feeling much better about the situation in Pakistan! That 1.3 million man Pakistani army is not a joke. Now that I know Pakistan realizes the Taliban is hot just ours and Afghanistan's enemy he is theirs. The Taliban is the number one threat to their Democracy and they now know it.

Pakistan found out quickly the Taliban was not going to be placated with the Swat valley. The Taliban have burned schools and Colleges, some 150 I understand and not just in the Swat.

The Taliban told the teachers at all the schools that if they were enemies of the US they would not be touched as long as girls are no longer taught after 4th grade. I reiterate that I know Pakistan we are told has the 7th largest army in the world with a standing force of some 650,000 and around 500,000 reservists. We are told they are more than able to handle the Taliban but I don't know. It is the ISI I am concerned about. The history of a myriad of military coups in Pakistan is more than a little disconcerting.

Whose side will this large military force really come down on? Will they tear themselves apart? Turn on the Govern? Split? Join the Taliban? With a population of a rumored 45 million Pashtun how many can the Taliban drag behind their murderous cause to kill those who disagree with them and kill and drive us out?

* In closing! You know the the complex convoluted history of Pakistan despite its core of good hearted innocent civilians who I call friends. I had no idea when I mentioned yesterday that Pakistan and Afghanistan was the front line in this war against "Islamists" how right I was! finding this out just blows me away! I just found out that many Muslim's believe that what is modern day Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Iran, is the promised land from where they will secure victory in the end of days battle which ultimately will be fought in Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria. Knowing this now makes sense of all the events we have been discussing with Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and to my surprise Iran. I had no idea Iran and the Taliban are enemies. This is a relationship we better exploit and it sounds like we are!

What a surprise! The valley of Swat is right in the middle of this! With Petraeus trying to negotiate a supply line through there no wonder the Taliban are elated at their victory in securing the area as a stronghold under Sharia Law! The area in question is the Northwest Frontier Province (NWFP) and includes Islamabad! This is not good for our future! This is a huge defeat for us and a huge victory for the Pakistani Taliban and it bothers me that it was brokered by the Pakistani Government who are supposedly on our side. Pakistan has even brokered compensation packages for those who have been killed fighting the Government and Americans. This better wake you up!

As I discussed yesterday this pro Pakistan Taliban development happens at the exact same time as the first 3,000 soldiers of an additional 30,000 from America have started to arrive. This is not good and as I keep saying the battle lines are still just forming and this will go on for generations unless we capitulate!
This is a major defeat for the United States, NATO Pakistan, India, Karzai, indeed the entire world as hordes of trained fighters already swarmed from the Swat area and now that we are ramping up in Afghanistan Pakistan has capitulated.
