Australia, Turkey, Russia, Middle East Nations, they are all down playing Wiki leaks but they all want him stopped. He wants Hillary fired and spying by US diplomats stopped. Like it or not that is what Governments do, all of them. Ruthless pompous self serving Assange should be stopped and now before he does some real damage. That is my only concern now!looks like Pakistan, Myanmar, and China are the losers right now They better beware! We should be thanking wiki leaks for the vital security information divulged and act at once against these countries.

Meanwhile according to the New York Times, "Justice Department lawyers are exploring whether Mr. Assange and Wiki Leaks could be charged with inducing, or conspiring in violations of the Espionage Act." At this point hundreds of thousands of so called top secret documents have been released and I know he thinks he is going to bring Governments down and the US wants him tried for espionage I can only see all this as comical and nothing else right now.

It was very interesting listening to to what his mother and stepfather had to say about Julian and his supposed goal to hold people to honesty but it all boiled down to the part where early on he expressed a hatred of Governments and that is what it all boils down to, to me. Up to now I find all this to be a joke and really when all is said and done only harmful to Governments in Julian Assange's perverted mind. I have seen no harm here only in Julian's mind other than some red faces in the Governments which has been comical and nothing else. Like it or not and though the truth is always denied, we have heard it all before so I have to wonder and laugh at Assange's so called poison pill scheduled to automatically drop if he is harmed or something happens to him. I would not be concerned as nothing would go to any Government of consequence. Anything of that importance would be kept to yourself until it becomes undeniable fact. So I do not understand the hullabaloo by Governments inciting the ire of Wiki-Leaks supporters. I have friends who have said Julian Assange should get the peace prize which to me is another joke exemplified by Russia who was the butt of supposedly harmful statements, saying Julian should get the peace prize as a way to keep him safe. * In closing! He has disclosed nothing of consequence yet. He can keep himself safe by stopping any further attempts to bring down perceived dishonest Governments and businesses. If Assange was in Russia , China, Iran, or anywhere else he would already be dead along with his family. There is nothing honorable or righteous about his intentions. Just look at his face his intent is nothing but malicious and vengeance. I hope you read the Wikipedia about him. He was not imprisoned for being good in doing this in the past. He is ruthless and unconcerned about what he has done. He better be held accountable and even though he is not a US citizen we can do it and it should already be done.

Because of damaging wartime leaks by Wiki Leaks operator Julian Assange, Assange should be prosecuted and possibly executed by the U.S. government for wartime espionage. Title 18 U.S. Code, Section 794, Paragraph (b) reads:

"Whoever, in time of war, with intent that the same shall be communicated to the enemy, collects, records, publishes, or communicates, or attempts to elicit any information with respect to the movement, numbers, description, condition, or disposition of any of the Armed Forces, ships, aircraft, or war materials of the United States, or with respect to the plans or conduct, or supposed plans or conduct of any naval or military operations, or with respect to any works or measures undertaken for or connected with, or intended for the fortification or defense of any place, or any other information relating to the public defense, which might be useful to the enemy, shall be punished by death or by imprisonment for any term of years or for life."

The New York Times, the Guardian and Der Spiegel who coordinated the publication of his leaks should be prosecuted too, I agree they might find the following Subsection (c) also to be a revealing read: "If two or more persons conspire to violate this section, and one or more of such persons do any act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each of the parties to such conspiracy shall be subject to the punishment provided for the offense which is the object of such conspiracy."

They damn sure have and the more I think about it the more I see so called extremists very happy and emboldened. They were picking up anyway but they are now empowered to go full bore. Many of you know 3 of my sons are career military and in and out of these wars. I disagreed with the illegal war on Iraq and I disagree with the way the war is being conducted in Afghanistan and feel we should pull out now with our heads high and the job well done but you know that is not going to happen.

Whatever you think about the war in Afghanistan you do have a sense of right and wrong. When I first became aware of Julian Assange and the wikileaks my first thought was that there was no new news here. Then I thought about it and had to wonder how many of our troops have been killed and wounded because this ass took it upon himself to publish 90,000 secret documents with the promise of more to come.

Without a doubt the future cooperation of Afghani's helping us so we can stabilize Afghanistan and get out has seriously been jeopardized. I wonder how many who have helped in the past have been found and killed thanks to Assange. The more I thought about it the more I was bothered that I see some who are unversed enough to say he should be given a Nobel peace prize. I thought there must be a law against what he did.

I admit that so far what wiki leaks leaked was old news for most of us but if the US was smart they would not be downplaying the news as they are. The news is old but the message has been sent and heard if it wasn't already, do not work with the US and NATO or you will be betray and outed by wiki leaks and killed by insurgents.
Afghanistan is unwinnable period unless we declare our job well done and hand control over to Afghanistan like the Brits are and like them get out! We can then observe from a distance see what they do with it and monitor the situation with drones and reliable intelligence sources if there is such a thing.

See what they build with corrupt Karzai and the other drug lords, and the Taliban and other tribes. Any way you look at it we other fish to fry with Somalia, Yemen, and God knows where else or what is going to crop up next. Obama is backing a failed policy in a failed country as we all know. Leave India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, to their own demise. Pakistan and Afghanistan have proven they want our money not our military help. Time to say good bye and good luck!

Events just keep getting worse and worse and what little support there was for Karzai and a so called Democracy is all but gone and riots are breaking out calling for Karzai's head. For years now I kept saying we can not listen to the so called experts and add more troops. We had to listen to Max Cleland former U.S. Senator who lost both legs and right forearm following injuries inflicted by a fellow soldier's grenade in the Vietnam War. He warned we must get out now and instead Obama ads 30,000 more troops to another lost cause.

There's war fatigue in America. It's affecting our psychology. I understand that. This is an ugly war. It's a war in which an enemy will kill innocent men, women and children in order to achieve a political objective. You have to say what side are we talking about? We always hear Afghanistan being compared to Vietnam.

listening to the radio I heard that Lyndon Johnson was told he could not win militarily for the first time in 1966. 95% of all the names on the Vietnam war "wall" memorial were put on there as a result of continuing the war after he was told he couldn't win militarily in 1966. Bush ignored Afghanistan creating a crisis situation that Obama insists on making worse. We are mirroring Vietnam and worse in every way, including in this respect. I hoped Obama would pull out now but now I see another Saigon!
