World Looks To Isolate Libya's Gaddafi as Ex-Libyan Justice Minister Forms Caretaker Govt. in East
The revolutionaries are more defiant than ever, I just hope what I learned as a little kid does not happen here as I expect it will. Be careful what you ask for you may get it and even more pointed, you know what you have but you don't know what you're going to get!
Who knows what else he has but he has tons of mustard gas. I refuse to believe that a deal making him give that up was not part of the asinine deal we had made with the mad man in recent years. Mustard gas was outlawed after WW1 but you know Kaddafi will use it on his own people. I hope those on the front lines of this revolt at least have gas masks. Tripoli braces for battle as Gaddafi digs in
As Battles Continue Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi has started arming his civilian supporters to quash dissent, as British and Irish nationals in Tripoli plead for help from the international community.
TERRIFIED Lybians were preparing for an escalation of violence as embattled leader Muammar Gaddafi continues to cling to power. I heard him threaten to throw open the doors to all his armories letting people arm themselves to the teeth. This scum is a frigging mad man! I wish Libya and the Government thye have lined up to replace him well.
This will all hinge on the military leaders who defected. From the looks of it the rebels are arming and preparing to take Tripoli. This is the classic fight or flight response.
This is moving so fast I don't know if it's here or I am working on it fore tomorrow but the military still guarding him say they will continue but will stand down in the final battle.
James M. Joiner was born in Danvers and raised in Historic Salem, Massachusetts. "I was very lucky to have spent my childhood on Gallows Hill and a child of the streets in mid 1960s Salem. I roamed all the historic sites routinely as they were all free in those days," he says.
He attended the Essex Agricultural Institute and graduated from high school, after which he enlisted in the Air Force where he joined the military police. Upon his discharge he went back to farming but soon realized that he needed to do more to support his growing family – by then, he had a wife and three children – so he went back to school and earned a B.S. in accounting. Working a third-shift job so that he could attend college fulltime during the day, he found himself challenged by what he was seeing and learning at the Salem State Teachers College (now Salem University).
Jim’s first book, "Life In The Trenches Of American Society: How to Survive 21st Century Society” started him on a journey that currently encompasses six books, two must read manuscripts, a Manifesto to the World, and a Blog.
Jim lives and writes in Massachusetts.
