N.Koreans starve and Suffer While the Regime Celebrates Itself

Reports say soldiers often faint practicing the absurd marching style under the scorching sun all day long, and former soldiers who defected said goose-stepping can cause serious injuries. That is not the only example of the abuses the regime subjects the North Korean people to for the sake of its greater glory. The "Arirang" mass calisthenics performance held every year requires the blood, sweat and tears of 20,000 North Korean children.

The soul of those that starved under Kim Jong Il curse Kim Jong Un. Leaders of the group they call the North Korea Peoples Liberation Front read a statement condemning to death the North Korean leader and staged his mock execution. I told you food was our friend in North Korea! The group calls themselves the North Korea Peoples Liberation Front and their quest is to liberate their homeland on its 62nd anniversary.

Kim Jong Il has been starving his people to death for decades so he could build his massive military and play with nuclear weapons, missiles, and other advanced weapons. You know I have been very concerned about North Korea and her Shenanigans as she was firing missiles testing nuclear weapons and as a matter of policy, antagonizing the west in order to bring us to the bargaining table and barter cooperation for food for its citizens.

I finally realized years ago now that average citizens of countries around the world do matter and they are mere pawns and bargaining chips for a countries ruling party to use and get what they want. In that end North Korea has routinely sacrificed its people while pursuing its expensive military endeavors.

As you know, famine is one of the biggest and oldest problems in the world. It will only get worse as responsible nations fight to regain their economic footing. We are talking responsible nations one of which North Korea is not. Right now there are over 800 million people around the world suffering from hunger.

North Korea ranks as the worst in the world in that category and a share that distinction with the likes of Somalia, Ethiopia, and Sudan but North Korea has one of the largest military’s in the world and plays with nuclear weapons while starving her citizens.

The main problem is North Korea is closed to the outside world so the Government can ravage the people and follow their militaristic agenda. Most North Koreans do not realize they are among the poorest Nations on the planet and bow to and thank Kim Jong Un for their one meal a day they get and are told is good for them. North Korea Disaster hunger and famine

I always wondered just in knowing what South Koreans have, when the North Korean’s were going to rebel? I have to ask how can any person no matter how deranged possibly think keeping your subjects starving and destitute be good for country order and unity? Free Markets are no longer allowed and the docile people of North Korea were roaming the streets cursing the Government loudly after the currency was devalued. This is pretty radical for North Koreans who have been taught from birth that they owed everything to Kim Jong Il. My heart is with the up to now loyally starving citizens purposely being starved by their own Government!

To me reunification in one form or the other is the best bet for a post Kim Jong Il North Korea. It has many hurdles but many benefits. It would solve North Korea's financial and food woes. The Germanies did it and the Korea's can do it to. They have been working on reunification for years

Any way you look at it I do not expect Kim Jong Un to live long! I agree that North Korea dynastic succession should end and Korea reunified for the best of North Korea, Asia and the world. I just realized that from the past experience of China not coming forward to stop North Korea's bombastic activities with South Korea and the west that it is China that wants a militaristic North Korea and to protect its border. China has no interest in a unified Democratic Korea at their doorstep.

Afghan Army Can't Go It Alone After 2014, Pentagon Says: So what?

Afghan Army Can't Go It Alone After 2014, Pentagon Says:  The report bolsters calls by top U.S. commanders for some troops to remain in Afghanistan for years to come to train security forces and conduct special-forces operations against terrorists.

President Barack Obama hasn’t decided how manyAmericans should stay after next year, and the administrationhasn’t ruled out what’s called the “zero option,” removing alltroops if a long-term agreement can’t be reached in sometimesacrimonious negotiations with Afghan President Hamid Karzai.“The insurgency remains a potent force,” although“significantly degraded” since 2011, according to the report.

I don't know about ours but
Mullah Omar was invited to join the upcoming election in 2014 and he did not respond. He did not have to he knows when we are gone so is corrupt Karzai. I remember during the election with Abdullah and Karzai's victory was found to be grossly corrupt the people just shrugged and said one corrupt Government is the same as the next.
That said, the people would be wise to remember the cutting off of heads and hands that is routine for the Taliban and how stifling it is under their rule. As a whole they should remember the thousands of them the Taliban have purposely killed. They should form Lashkar's (civilian defense against the Taliban) and eliminate the Taliban or life as they want it is over.

Afghans fear what will happen when troops leave: Among Afghans around the country interviewed by The Associated Press, the worry is pervasive. Many are deeply skeptical that Afghan police and security forces, which the U.S.-led coalition has spent years trying to build, will be able to fight insurgents and militants without American and NATO fighting alongside. Worse-case scenarios that some fear:

The Afghan forces could splinter along ethnic line and prompt civil war, the nation could plunge into a deep recession, or the Kabul government — plagued with corruption and still fragile despite efforts to establish its authority — would remain too weak to hold off a Taliban takeover. Just a 45-minute drive south of Kabul, residents of Wardak province directly feel the tenuousness. The province is a battleground for Afghan and coalition forces trying to squash hotbeds of the Taliban. Residents quickly warn visitors that it’s dangerous just to go past a checkpoint less a kilometer (half-mile) outside the provincial capital, Maidan Shahr.

In Afghanistan, Businesses Plan Their Own Exits: America may be struggling to come up with a viable exit plan for Afghanistan, but Abdul Wasay Manani is sure of his. This month, Mr. Manani, 38, flew to India for 14 days to scout out a new business, and a new home, ready to leave Afghanistan and everything he worked to build here, just in case things fall apart when most Americans and other foreign troops leave in 2014. “If the Taliban come like last time, ordering people around with whips, I can’t stay here,” he said. “I have to leave this country to keep my family safe.”

Many Afghans share his concern. In this environment, troubling indicators are not hard to find. More than 30,400 Afghans applied for asylum in industrialized nations in 2011, the highest level in 10 years and four times the number seeking asylum in 2005. The only Western bank operating here said on Wednesday that it would be leaving. Piles of cash equaling about a quarter of Afghanistan’s annual economic output were physically carried out of Afghanistan last year.

I just do not get it. If those people know how bad their life is going to be under the Taliban then why do they not fight to defeat them? *Vietnam all over again regardless of what they say. They are now offering the Taliban to join in the Government.

I really do not care what they do. Our soldiers did their job. We should get them out now with heads held high for a job well done. They have performed magnificently. The Taliban are going to take over again regardless and the people know it that is why everyone who can is making preparations to get out now.

The best thing Helen Thomas did was when she told Jews to get the hell out of Palestine.

First:  Remembering journalists, Helen Thomas and Guy Friddell:  Helen Thomas, the long-time dean of the White House press corps, died Saturday at age 92 after a long illness, and Guy Friddell, veteran reporter for the Richmond News Leader and more than 40-year editor and columnist with the Norfolk Virginian-Pilot also died Saturday. He, too, was 92.

Both knew Williamsburg very well, and for years were close friends of the late Donald J. Gonzales, senior vice president of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, who introduced them to me — Guy in the mid-1960s and Helen in the early 1970s.

I want to concentrate on Helen Thomas. The absolute best thing Helen Thomas ever did as a journalist got her immediately fired when she told Jews to get the hell out of Palestine.

Helen Thomas, Dean of the White House press corp. called a Bigot for saying Jews should get the hell out of Palestine, is she right?

Israel was created in 1948, after UN Resolution 181 partitioned the territory of the British Mandate for Palestine into two states for Jews and Palestinian Arabs. At the time, there were approximately 1.2 million Arabs and 650,000 Jews in all of Palestine. The Arabs objected to the creation of the Jewish state and fought a war against it. The Arab side lost the war, and the Palestinian state never really came into being. The territory allotted to the Palestinian state by the UN partition resolution was taken over by Israel and Jordan. About 780, 000 Palestinians became refugees, many of them living in the Gaza strip as well as in the West Bank. Background and map of Palestine

A video surfaced where Helen Thomas is asked, at of all things the White House Jewish Heritage Celebration on May 27th 2010, "any comments on Israel." Helen Thomas said "Tell them to get the hell out of Palestine. Remember, these people are occupied and it's their land. Not Germany. Not Poland." When the questioner, who knew he's caught a live one, asked where Jews should go, Thomas didn't miss a beat, saying "They go home, Poland, Germany, and America' and everywhere else." Helen Thomas says Jews should get out of Palestine Well?

Netanyahu rejects UN proposal for joint US, Israel, Turkey probe Israel wants the truth hidden and we will let them!

You know, there is so much in what she said, the original agreement, our guilt in this conflict that will never end peacefully, what Ahmadinejad said a few years ago about giving Jews part of your own country. You know, first reading how Israel and Palestine was allotted their territories in 1948 I do not condone that Israel has not been forced to adhere to that resolution. We, the US Britain and Europe especially are as guilty as Israel for not insisting Israel adhere to UN Resolution 181.

You know I say often that we are Israel's lap dog, her pit Bull that will do the fighting for her when she gets in trouble. Israel I came to realize is the worlds chief warmonger and the US the enforcer. It became obvious that coming to Israel's rescue would be how the US has the excuse to go after Iran.

I can not stand the fascist Ahmadinejad and his senseless antagonism nor his unrelenting desire to obliterate Israel. That said, I have to agree with something he said a year ago and Helen Thomas just said and apologized for. The Israel, Palestinian, Iran, Syria, Middle East issue will never be resolved peacefully Knowing that I have to agree with Ahmadinejad when he said if the US and Europe felt so bad for what happened to the Jews during WW2 then they should have given them part of their country.

* In closing Helen Thomas said "Tell them (israel) to get the hell out of Palestine. Remember, these people are occupied and it's their land, not Germany, not Poland. When the questioner asked where Jews should go, Thomas didn't miss a beat, saying "They go home, Poland, Germany, and America' and everywhere else."

Well that may be true but it will never happen of course and Ahmadinejad may be right in that one issue but the best we could hope for is an adherence to UN resolution 181. That will never happen either and all I can see is a total Middle East breakdown that Bush guaranteed when he attacked Iraq to help Israel set up their buffer zone.

American General warns Israel Apartheid doesn't work

An American General warns the Israeli Right:   “We have got to find a way to make the two-state solution that Democrat and Republican administrations have supported, we’ve got to get there,” he said. “And the chances for it, as the king of Jordan has pointed out, are starting to ebb because of the settlements and where they’re at, are going to make it impossible to maintain the two-state option.”

After blaming the lack of peace squarely on the settlements, he went a step further, and raised the incendiary question of apartheid: “If I’m Jerusalem and I put 500 Jewish settlers out here to the east and there’s 10,000 Arab settlers in here, if we draw the border to include them, either it ceases to be a Jewish state or you say the Arabs don’t get to vote -- apartheid. That didn’t work too well the last time I saw that practiced in a country.”

A Two-State Solution died when Israel was born

The real two State solution?
Some Hear Death Knell for a Two-State Solution that died when Israel was born in 1948:

Stop being delusional and get ready for the coming war

Israeli leader says peace hopes 'delusional' The truth at last!

UN: Israeli-Palestinian conflict in 'profound and persistent deadlock': No kidding, "Israelestine only"

UN: Israeli-Palestinian conflict in 'profound and persistent deadlock': the Israeli Ambassador to the UN, Ron Prosor, told the Security Council that a Palestinian unilateral move for statehood in September "will not bring peace to our region." Israel does not want a 2 state solution period!

Israel will never agree to share Jerusalem period and neither will Hamas .Israel will resort to war period, especially knowing the US will come to their rescue and it bothers me. This is really getting old!

I wrote about it numerous times, to hell with Israel they are the problem. Netanyahu does not want peace until he gets everything he wants which includes all of Jerusalem. We have to take care of our own and let them hang themselves. Ahmadinejad was right in one thing when he said years ago that is Europe and the US felt so bad for what happened to the Jews in ww2 they should have given them part of their country. We would have no problem then. We are as guilty as them for not enforcing UN resolution 181. UN Resolution 181 that was established in 1947. Stop supporting Israel!

Make them go back to it and call it a frigging day!

I have been sick of Israel's lying about wanting a compromise, a two state solution. Ehud Barak had a viable solution Benjamin Netanyahu shot down. Netanyahu's lies to provoke and prolong this impasse holds the day. I am sick of this crap, I am sorry!

Israel's leader does not want to share Jerusalem

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the issue of settlements as a "marginal" part of peace talks and said he was glad the United States had abandoned its demand for a renewed freeze. BS, it is integral and proof Netanyahu does not want peace but all of Jerusalem!

Lack of a peace solution to the Israeli crisis we created keeps being blamed on the Palestinians and I for one am quite sick of it! Israel could lease Palestinian lands in exchange for Palestinian statehood: report I am thinking this can be done after all my apprehension if Israel really wanted a two state solution. With Palestine rebuffing Iran, Iran would be the one left out in the cold however Israel does not want this to succeed. Leave Israel to her own demise, I am sick of the lies!

They say that Palestinian refusal to recognize Israel as a Jewish state shows they are not serious about two-state solution. What about Israel's refusal to go back to 1967 borders, to stop building settlements, or to let Palestine have a homeland free of Jews if they want? What about UN resolution 181 established in 1947?
PLO wants map from US with future Israeli border Can you blame them? It will never happen though because we are Israel's lap dog.

Vice Prime Minister and Strategic Affairs Minister Moshe Ya'alon said that he saw "no chance of reaching a peace deal with the Palestinians in the near future". There is no way in hell ever because neither side really wants it. They want the other subversive, end of discussion.

"In the eyes of Palestinians, the occupation began in '48 and not in '67," Ya'alon told Army Radio. "Not only Hamas thinks this – Abu Mazen [Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas does too." I think that too! I refuse to believe we took it upon ourselves to displace the Palestinians and give their land to the Jews in 1948 because we felt bad for them.

I reiterate: Palestinians for their part are doing their share for peace but it is futile: They are willing to let Israel control the wailing wall and just want East Jerusalem as their capital but there is no way in hell Israel is going to give that up as they swear it belongs to them. It does not belong to them. They do not want peace unless they get everything they want and they will not. This will only end in war and we will be dragged in. That is why Bush ignored Afghanistan to get into the Middle East. Right from the get go helping Israel against Iran was the goal.

Again I reiterate there will never be peace in the Middle East, period!Israel wants it her way and Iran/Syria want Israel obliterated, period, seems like peace is in Palestinian hands and depends on how much they are willing to bend because Israel will not. Israel and Iran have long been in preparation for this confrontation. As you know, when asked by a journalist how he felt upon returning to Iran in 1979 after 15 years in exile. Khomeini’s curt, one-word reply was “nothing” Whoa! From day one of his return to Iran Khomeini expressed no love for Iran only a love of the atom bomb. The drive even then was to possess a nuclear weapon though that desire is still denied until Iran can get their hands on one.

On the other side there is Israel who will give nothing and expects Palestinians to give up everything! I realized a long time ago that Israel is the world's chief war monger and we seem to do their bidding and fighting. If they get into a war with Iran we will end up coming to their rescue regardless of what they do or what is said or done and that is sad! We should in fact take care of Jewish American's and American's and our interests in Israel and otherwise tell them in no uncertain terms they are on their own if they continue to instigate war not peace and expecting us to come to their rescue. Well the heck with them we have given enough!

Attacks at prisons raise worries of al-Qaeda's strength in Iraq as breakdown gains legs

Attacks at prisons raise worries of al-Qaeda's strength in Iraq:   We are concerned about the increased tempo and sophistication of al-Qaeda operations in Iraq,” said a senior State Department official, who requested anonymity because he did not want to be seen as commenting on Iraq’s internal affairs.

James F. Jeffrey, who was the U.S. ambassador in Baghdad when the last U.S. troops left in December 2011, said that Iraqi forces had performed poorly and that it was clear that their skills had deteriorated now that the U.S. troops training them were gone. “This is the first example I have seen that the absence of American troops that would have provided tactical training has had an impact on the battlefield,” said Mr. Jeffrey, who is now a visiting fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.

22 people killed, 64 wounded in attacks in Iraq:Bomb and gunfire attacks, mainly targeting Iraqi security forces, in the predominantly Sunni areas in Iraq on Wednesday killed 22 and wounded some 64 others, as the country struggles to contain the worst violence since 2008.

The deadliest attack in the day occurred in the morning when gunmen attacked a police station with mortar rounds and assault rifles near the northern city of Mosul, some 400 km north of the Iraqi capital of Baghdad, killing up to 11 policemen and wounding another, a local police source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity. Afterwards, a roadside bomb went off when reinforcement troops arrived at the scene, wounding two people, the source said.

Head of United Iraq party murdered on eve of elections:Total breakdown closer every day

Iraq mayhem 'ready to explode' into wider middle east conflict

Listen to this article. Powered by Odiogo.com

Wave of attacks hits Shia and Sunni areas of Iraq as the middle east breakdown is unstoppable

Wave of attacks hits Shia and Sunni areas of Iraq, killing at least 57: The attacks, some of which hit market places and crowded bus stops during the morning rush hour, pushed the death toll in Iraq since Wednesday to more than 200.

The bloodshed over the past week has been reminiscent of the retaliatory attacks between Sunnis and Shiites that pushed the country to the brink of civil war in 2006-2007. Tensions have been worsening since Iraq’s minority Sunnis began protesting what they say is mistreatment at the hands of the Shia-led government.

*Call to arms in Iraq after deadly Kirkuk clashes: The call comes after dozens of people were killed and injured when Iraqi security forces stormed a Sunni Muslim anti-government protest camp in Hawija, near Kirkuk, on Tuesday. The raid on the protest was followed by an attack on Iraqi army checkpoints. Nine Iraqi army members have been killed so far.

Iraqi Premier Nuri al-Maliki has ordered the establishment of a fact-finding mission to investigate the details of the Hawija incident. Meanwhile, Iraqi Parliament Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi labeled the incident in Hawija as a “catastrophe,” adding that the army’s action against the protesters was a “flagrant violation of the constitution.” To recap what of late brought this on:

Bush started this civil war he knew would be the result of his illegal attack on Iraq so he could get back in to the middle east to help Israel. Sectarian Fighting Worsens in Iraq

Iraqi Army Regains Control Of Sunni Town

Iraq death toll reaches 195 after explosions target four Baghdad area mosques

Iraqi PM calls for dialogue to stop 'sectarian civil war'

It will not be stopped and before Bush's illegal attack he was warned of this. He as you know ignored all good advice.

Bush still swears this was a success and history will vindicate him. Iraq's breakdown that he guaranteed with his illegal attack will spread throughout the middle east. Now it will be aided by Syria's breakdown spreading throughout the middle east. Turkey is already preparing to go into Syria after Turkish, Iraqi, and Syrian Kurds forming up and attacking from Syria. The total middle east breakdown we have seen coming and talked about from day one is fast approaching.

The breakdown Sunni against Shiite against Kurd was guaranteed the day Bush ignored all good advice to the contrary and attacked Iraq. It was guaranteed as soon as we left whether we left today or were stupid enough to hang around longer as Republican nominees are wrongly criticizing Obama for not doing. From Iraq it will spread throughout the entire middle east compliments of Bush not Obama.

The International Committee of the Red Cross, in a report titled "Iraq: No Let-up in the Humanitarian Crisis," writes, "Despite limited improvements in security in some areas, armed violence is still having a disastrous impact. Civilians continue to be killed in the hostilities. "The injured often do not receive adequate medical care. Nothing has changed people except in some cases to get worse.

Millions of people have been forced to rely on insufficient supplies of poor-quality water as water and sewage systems suffer from a lack of maintenance and a shortage of engineers." "Nothing has changed people but we are leaving them to their own demise and it will spread through the entire middle east."

Both Amnesty and the Red Cross slam the Iraqi government for failing to grapple with the critical needs of their populations.

The two reports cited a litany of concerns that will not be corrected, including severe widespread poverty, a lack of food and water, and broken families left to scrounge for whatever they can find to get by. Both reports described a situation that shows no sign of clear improvement. Many women "have been forced to wear Islamic dress or targeted for abduction, rape or killing. That is not to speak of the more than 2 million permanent nomads because of Bush's and Obama's.

If Bush had stayed in Afghanistan as he should have instead of diverting from the war on terror to attack Iraq so he could start implementing his new middle east order, Iraq may still have a Dictator but they would have security, electricity, water, fuel, and a lot more than they have now or will have in the future. We will never be able to bring services anywhere close to the level they were at when Saddam was in power. It is laughable to think that anyone thought they would be better post Saddam.

The Congressional investigation into reconstruction in Iraq found that six out of eight projects the Bush administration claimed to be a success were falling apart, throwing doubts over the long-term viability of much of the $30 billion program. I have to tell you, the entire program, the surge, Democracy, everything, was guaranteed lost from the get go. What ever is built will be destroyed.

The report looked at hospital projects that at last count their was one capable of operating at all and that great success. Each sect is only concerned with looking out for their own interest and future and as we are told to ignore everyday because it is not "the reality on the ground" reality is much worse! The inspectors found serious plumbing and electrical failures due to looting, equipment lying idle to me primarily because people are scared to death to venture out into the reality Bush has created for them. This 2007 report blames Iraqi's for the disaster Bush created and still exists today From the Political system to the oil Industry, Hospitals, electricity, plumbing, security, everything, It will not be turned around and will only get a lot worse before it spreads throughout the entire middle east.

In closing, the 2009 report:The humanitarian situation remained alarming. According to the UN, at least 4 million Iraqis still did not have enough food, around 40 per cent of the population did not have access to clean drinking water, and 30 per cent did not have access to adequate health care services. The education system was near collapse with schools and universities lacking essential materials such as books, and teachers and students terrorized by violence. Many schools were bombed. The unemployment rate remained extremely high at 50 per cent or even higher. If this is success the entire middle east is screwed!

In the middle of our "success" I still see a total civil war Sunni against Shiite erupting in the Middle East because Bush freed up Iran to instigate it on their end and they are. I still am concerned we will have a permanent presence in the Middle East but feel we will have to largely leave Iraq to her own demise. We will still be there but it looks like Yemen, and the Gulf of Aden will be the prime focus unless Iran gets something going between the US and Iran.

As you know, I talk about it often as I watch Bush's new Middle East (dis)order progress. He ignored Afghanistan so he could use the patriot acts powers to divert from Afghanistan to attack Iraq using the excuse of unseating Saddam so he could get in the Middle East to help Israel establish a buffer zone and establish a new middle east (dis) order or so Israel and Cheney thought. Bush at Cheney's urging made an abrupt shift in policy towards Syria, a shift that has now brought the entire Mideast region to the brink of war and chaos. Much worse than the hell on earth they created for Iraq. Did you ever read A clean Break a 2003 Executive intelligence Review that tells the truth as to our diabolical plans

That plan was put together in 1996 for Israel. They were just waiting for an idiot to come along so they could implement their plan for the Middle East. Along came the life long follower and life long alcoholic loser Georgie Bush. I wish I could say the rest is History but this is still barely beginning and just beginning to take shape. All Bush did by ignoring Afghanistan and attacking Iraq was to guarantee a loss of everything and a complete Middle East and Asian Breakdown.

We freed Iran up to pursue her version of new middle East order by interfering wherever she could while Bush was doing the same thing with his Middle East Democratization program. I think you can see how successful Bush and Cheney were with chaos creating Middle East Democracy program but you are barely seeing the results they created in Iran.

The goal absolutely is to be the country who decides which direction the new Middle East (dis)order will take. Bush started it by attacking Iraq to get into the middle east to destabilize it and start the new middle east order the idiot said God told him to do now it will be up to Iran and Saudi Arabia at least up front fight it out whether this goes the Iranian Shiite way or the Saudi Arabian Sunni way and do not forget Israel!

You know I firmly believe and have said so a million times by now that since 9/11 everything was construed to allow Bush to gain the power he needed to prosecute his new order not just in the Middle East but on the entire world! He diverted from Afghanistan to get back into the Middle East with the goal of setting up a larger safety zone for Israel and going after Iran. Both will fail! It has long been my contention that coming to Israel's aid once they attack Iran will be our in to Iran!

What about the Kurds who want their autonomy and they do not want to share their oil fields period. Nuri Al-Maliki wants that issue resolved and it will never be. The entire middle east and north Africa and our more than century of interference and exploitation can take the blame for that too.

Bush has created a hell on earth for Iraq that he still calls liberty and success with promises to spread it throughout the entire Middle East Sunni against Shiite and it is. Shiite Iran and Hezbollah backed by Russia is not going to abdicate their stance in the middle east.

Quite the opposite as you are still just seeing the beginning of the total middle east breakdown Bush guaranteed with his illegal attack on Iraq. Saddam was lying about having WMD because he wanted to keep Iran in control.

Bush freed up Iran to take the lead role in the middle east to achieve their idea of a new middle east order and not ours, Israels, or Sunni Saudi Arabia's.
