The move came one day after the North seized a South Korean fishing boat and its seven-man crew that officials claimed had violated North Korea's exclusive economic zone.


It was good to hear that 3 of the crew that were captured from the South Korean fishing boat were Chinese nationals. China has since expressed concern that 3 of her citizens were taken by North Korea.

As we keep saying, China is critical in Asia's future and resolving the issues between the Korea's as we have said numerous times. I hope they step up! As we discussed in the past, being North Korea's next door neighbor China has more at stake than anyone except North Korea. They must do more! China does not seem to have the leverage they use to or I thought they had. They do have an abstract leverage!

They should want to be key players here, I refuse to believe they want a nuclear war and right there. They better step up and take control of this situation as only they are in a position to do.They are our banker and we owe them trillions. Being North Korea's immediate neighbor they would be the recipient of hundreds of thousands of refugees if not more. Regardless of the past that is gone. We have to be concerned with the future now and China better stop playing games here. This is no joke!.

This is wrong! What the hell is wrong with Obama? He is not the same as Bush he is worse in the war monger regard. He can't be as stupid as he is proving in Afghanistan and here on the Korean Peninsula. I thought he was really trying to do the right thing in America but the Republicans were doing everything to make him fail. The international stage I thought was his strong point but he is a miserable failure in this regard.

Fifth: countries should make use of multilateral mechanism like Shanghai Cooperation Organization, ASEAN Regional Forum and Six-Party Talks to promote common interest and common security. Today I hear Bush is kicking Ass in Iraq and he will soon add ending the Korean War to his list of so called successes!

This morning I caught wind of just one more stupid thing Bush seems so adept at saying. That idiot is such an embarrassment and the frightening thing about Bush saying anything is he is never right and has no problem eating his words and staying his damaging course.
Anyway amidst reports that Iraqi security forces should be disbanded and Iraq is worse off than with Saddam as basic human needs can not be met not to speak of the 7 additional Americans killed yesterday we have Bush declaring he is kicking Ass in Iraq. When President Bush made a surprise visit to Iraq last weekend, he made clear he was pleased with what he saw. "The security situation is changing," Bush told reporters during the visit. "There's more work to be done. But reconciliation is taking place." But according to the Sydney Morning Herald of Australia the president gave a more-to-the-point assessment to Australia Deputy Prime Minister Mark Vaile.
"We're kicking ass," Bush said to Vaile Tuesday, according the Herald, after the deputy prime minister inquired about his trip to Iraq. That was bad enough, then I saw the story about calling an end to the Korean War.
