A leading Islamic scholar has issued an anti-terror fatwa, it keeps getting better!

Muhammad Tahir ul-Qadri, head of the Minhaj ul-Quran religious and educational organization, said suicide bombers were destined for hell as he released his 600-page edict in London on Tuesday. He is a Pakistani born well read and written Islamic scholar. He will have great influence, I am psyched!

Fatwa’s against violence and extremism have been issued before but never on this scale and by such an authority. He rightly said they can't claim that their suicide bombings are martyrdom operations and that they become the heroes of the Muslim Umma “the wider Muslim community” they become heroes of hellfire, and they are leading towards hellfire," he said. Hmmm no virgins?

"There is no place for any martyrdom and their act is never, ever to be considered Jihad," he said. I am really psyched because the true Islam the Islam of peace is stepping up all around the world. Hard line extremists will not be swayed but the regular people will be and I have hope. Cleric issues anti terror fatwa

I know that in every instance not just the stock market that things go up and down they ebb and flow until it becomes obvious which way things are going to go. This so called war on terror is no different. I use to believe that this would be another 100 years war as there is no way proper Islam was going to be able to contain the militants because bottom line it has to come from them.

Bottom line, they are stepping up! I use to view Al Qaeda, militants, terrorism, Islamist extremists, whatever you want to call them, as the head of the hydra and whenever you killed one even more sprang up to take their place. Of late I seem to be saying everyday that this is getting better and better. We see progress by our hard fighting NATO military in Afghanistan but bottom line all this progress is because Pakistan has stepped up.

If you have been following me you know I write often about the great inroads being made by Pakistan. It just keeps getting better as at least half of Afghanistan's Taliban leadership has now been captured and the Taliban and Al Qaeda stronghold of Damadola has now been captured along with the 156 cave complex the once sheltered Ayman al-Zawahiri, the second-in-command to Osama bin Laden.

I was watching the civilian Lashkar dancing in the streets and waving their guns in the air saying the Taliban are gone and will never come back. I really am impressed. This is a great victory for Pakistan’s military and the civilian warriors who won their region back let alone the American effort in Afghanistan. Pakistan's Army takes control of al-Qaeda cave network on Afghan border

So far as we know now seven of the insurgent group’s 15-member leadership council, thought to be based in Quetta, Pakistan, including the head of military operations, have been apprehended in the past week. Pakistani authorities had netted Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the movements second in command, as well as Maulavi Abdul Kabir, a prominent commander in charge of insurgent operations in eastern Afghanistan, and Mullah Muhammad Younis.

Pakistan has also captured several other Afghan members of the leadership council called the Quetta Shura. These include: Mullah Abdul Qayoum Zakir, who oversees the movement’s military affairs, Mullah Muhammad Hassan, Mullah Ahmed Jan Akhunzada, and Mullah Abdul Raouf. At least two Taliban shadow provincial governors, who are part of the movement’s parallel government in Afghanistan, have also been captured. Half of Afghanistan Taliban leadership arrested in Pakistan

We can do this and the leaders in the fight will be Islam and they are stepping up. I have hope!

Knighting Salman Rushdie, new AlQaeda Graduation, Remember the Muslim Explosion Commences last year?

I have been thinking the last couple of days as to the wisdom of Britain knighting Salman Rushdie at this point in time. Rushdie was awarded a knighthood for services to literature in Queen Elizabeth's birthday honours list published on Saturday. Pakistan's minister for parliamentary affairs, Sher Afgan Khan Niazi said the honour was an insult to the religious sentiments of Muslims and led chants of kill him to Muslim stidents as they burned Rushdie's effigy.
She said It is a slap on the face of Muslims. It is not acceptable at all," the Reuters news agency quoted her as saying. One opposition MP, Khwaja Asif, said the knighthood exposed a contradiction in the government's policy as an ally of Britain in the international war on terrorism.
Mohammad Ali Hosseini, a spokesman for Iran's foreign ministry, said the decision to honour the novelist was an orchestrated act of aggression directed against Islamic societies. He said Rushdie was "one of the most hated figures" in the Islamic world. "This act shows that insulting Islamic sacred [values] is not accidental. It is planned, organised, guided and supported by some western countries."
I understand he is supposed to be quite an Author but the only work I am familiar with is his Satanic Verses which led Muslim's to call for a Fatwa against him and caused him to go into hiding. They say the Indian born Authors Knighthood was long overdue. I don't know about that. I think it could have waited a bit longer in light of widefelt Muslim emotions clling for death to the west and everyone around the world it seems.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/...
I started wondering about the negative repercussions to the West of Knighting the most hated figure in the Muslim world so I started to do some research and I also remembered something I wrote here a year and a half ago that was right on and quite prophetic as to Iraq, Iran, the middle east, and the entire Muslim World, it warrants atleast a quick go over. Do you remember Bomb Built,Bush supplied fuse, Cartoons lit it, Explosion is Commencing!? http://anaverageamericanpatriot.blog...
Those of you that have read my diaries know I try to remind people as often as I can that this so called war on terror is just getting started and as a reminder of the hell some Muslim's want for us. We were made aware of an Alqaeda Graduation yesterday where Large teams of newly trained suicide bombers are being sent to the United States and Europe, according to evidence contained on a new videotape obtained by the Blotter on ABCNews.com.
Teams assigned to carry out attacks in the United States, Canada, Great Britain and Germany were introduced at an al Qaeda/Taliban training camp graduation ceremony held June 9. The tape shows Taliban military commander Mansoor Dadullah, whose brother was killed by the U.S. last month, introducing and congratulating each team as they stood.
"These Americans, Canadians, British and Germans come here to Afghanistan from faraway places," Dadullah says on the tape. "Why shouldn't we go after them?" The leader of the team assigned to attack Great Britain spoke in English. http://blogs.abcnews.com/...
I watched the tape and I recommend that you do too. It was quite sobering as the Commander appeared to drive up in a police car, many faces were not coverd, and they all just sat there waving white flags.
I also ran into this about A palestinian Kindergarton Graduation in Gaza of all places. what a coincidence huh? .
The boys were shouting Allah Akbar. Praise be to Allah. "Allah Akbar. Praise be to Allah. "Allah Akbar. Praise be to Allah. "Allah Akbar. Praise be to Allah. "Who is your role model? The Prophet. "Who is your role model? The Prophet. "What is your path? Jihad. "What is your path? Jihad. "What is your most lofty aspiration? Death for the sake of Allah. "What is your most lofty aspiration? Death for the sake of Allah.
You will notice that these kids want to die "for the sake of Allah." It has nothing to do with Iraq, or Afghanistan, or Israel. If the U.S. packed up and left those countries today, and Israel ceased to exist, Muslims would find some other reason to "die for Allah." Like the wise man said, excuses http://allthingsconservative.typepad...I
t is not Just a coincidence that we seem to constantly be doing what we can to worsen Muslim relations to have the ultimate face off between Islam and the west and Islamist fervor will not be quelled as they have the same goal for us. What do you think about that?

Todays Increasingly Destabilizing events In new middle east (dis)order!

I have a lot going on here today trying to take care of two elderly parents. I have been unable to write anything until now. As a result I have spent the day monitoring events and every time I thought I found the event I wanted to write about something new cropped up. I caught that the U.S. has resupplied Lebanon with a rushed supply of ammo and weapons to be used in their battle against Fatah Al-Islam a purported Al Qaeda branch where both sides have vowed to fight to the death. There are supposed links between Fatah Al-Islam and Syria. Syria as you know is also accused of letting troops and equipment across their border to be used against Iraqi's and the successful implementation of a Democratic Government or at least some semblance of stability.
I am reminded that way back when Bush was bragging about getting Syria to leave Lebanon, my first thought was on no now Syria will be freed up to raise hell in other countries particularly Iraq. They have not disappointed me.
Hamas and Fatah are still going at each other in Palestine with no let up in sight or expected by me. At least Syria's involvement is expected here too.
Iran, threatened I am sure with U.S. Naval maneuvers being held of their shores by two U.S. Carrier Groups and attending Battle ships as well as tit for tat verbal exchanges with the U.S. involving involvement in Iraq and their nuclear program, seem to as of late stepped up their efforts to capture Iranian Americans and accuse them of espionage and or subversion. They have lost their British captives and bargaining chips so they have been busy gathering new ones while at the same time threatening action against Israel if they get reinvolved in Lebanon which I really do not expect.
I am reminded that Turkey is having their own problems with a recent Bombing supposedly by an Iraqi Kurd and I have to wonder what is next here too with their desire I believe, to remain secular. I have all the links for all these stories and will be glad to supply them. I just did not want to clog this up with links all of which you may have already seen. I wanted you to just look at what I think is the total picture and I am sure it gets worse. And then recent Iraq events!
The two missing American soldiers are still being searched for. I know Bush has said to expect a bloody summer in Iraq and of course we all do. I had hopes after hearing Anti-American cleric Muqtada al-Sadr, making his first public appearance in four months, on Friday ordered his Mehdi Army militia not to fight with Iraqi police and army forces.
http://www.cnn.com/...
He called the message a Fatwa and prohibited his followers from attacking their Sunni Brothers and any other Iraqi. My hopes of a more "peaceful" summer in Iraq were instantly dashed when I heard of British U.S. maneuvers to capture Al Sadr in which a prominent member of the Mehdi Army was killed and this brought me back to earth reminding me that Americans will always be fair game as long as we are in the middle of this mess.
I just also caught that 8 more Americans confirmed killed bringing the total to 93 on course to be the worst month of the war for Americans. I am sure the so called insurgents will make this a record month. am sorry, I know some here do not like it or want to hear it but all I see is still developing total middle east chaos.
