This would have been the latest in a 12 year attempt by Islamists to find something the west has done against their Religion so they can blow it all out of proportion so they can continue Bin Laden's vendetta against the west.
There are accepted ways of disposing of any Holy book but you do not see other Religions trying to kill everybody and rising up. I do believe we should get out of Afghanistan and leave them to their own demise. I do agree though that we just keep giving the Islamists reason to drum up anger against the west.

Why ever they are doing this while the long awaited middle east breakdown is under way. It started when Bush illegally attacked Iraq. We keep doing insulting things to anger Islamists over nothing but an excuse to ratchet up tensions towards a war. Those scum have nothing better to do with their time. In reality they are their peoples enemy and they are dragging them down as Bin Laden was. Decent Muslims should police themselves and take down the Islamists instigators looking for a war.
