We are hearing rumors now of something we knew before the President chose to ignore all sense and needlessly attack Iraq. In doing so he needlessly created a premature 2nd front. We already brought out the Islamists by going into Afghanistan. We didn't have to bring them to Iraq to fight them as he wants you to think. He needlessly made Iraq an essential part of the so called war on terror. Last but not least he has succeeded in further destabilizing the always volatile Middle East.To top it all off it looks like at the very least we will have a civil war in Iraq that even us lowly commoners knew we would. This is Iraq not the United States.I'm upset because we knew right from the beginning that this would happen. We also knew from the get go that this would only be a small part of the created realities after deposing Saadam. To top it off we profess surprise once again at the realities of the expected repercussions of our actions. We knew all this could and probably would happen and President bush attacked anyway. A coup of some sort would have done just as well, been a lot cheaper, and saved the lives of a lot of Patriotic Americans but then Mr. Bush wouldn't have had his way would he? We now have all 3 factions after themselves and each other as we expected we would. We knew at the very least we would have Iran and Syria interfering as they are. Why do we profess concern and surprise? We expected this. We asked for this. There should be and there is no surprise to those of us with no ulterior motive other than doing the right thing.
