Somalian arrested in Gulf of Aden for aiding Al Shabab in Somalia and al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula: Next front in the war on terror is heating up

Somali terror suspect in US court: Ahmed Abdulkadir Warsame was seized in the Gulf of Aden in April and was then interrogated for two months on a US warship before his trial in America. He is accused of providing support to the Yemeni-based militant group al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) and also to al-Shabab militants.

'Forty militants' killed in Yemen: Forty militants have been killed in two days of air strikes by Yemeni forces in the southern province of Abyan, Yemen's state news agency Saba says. Two soldiers were also killed as Yemeni troops retaliated against al-Qaeda militants who stormed army camp. The unrest is part of widening chaos in Yemen since protests broke out in February

Tens of thousands of Yemenis flee violence in south: Some 54,000 Yemenis have fled the flash point southern province of Abyan since militants took over its capital last month, a government official said on Sunday, as fighting intensified in the area.

We are watching many countries in the Middle East erupt all at the same time and I am a bit perplexed at the warped amount of attention and coverage given. Syria is being given a lot of attention and Yemen not so much even now that it is openly erupting. I have to believe that is because Syria is Israel and Iran's neighbor. A democracy movement right there is no threat to Israel but it is to Iran.

However Syria is Sunni and Iran Shiite so you may think their interference in helping Syria kill civilians and quell the Democracy movement perplexing. There has been a proxy war being fought in Yemen for quite a while now and Iran has been in the forefront of it. What is happening in Yemen is of utmost importance to Iran, us, and the world.

With our air raids in the East, civil war looming in the north, pro-independence protests in the south and al-Qaeda in the background " background? where is Anwar Al- Awlaki?" threatening a wave of attacks on America, Yemen is today’s war. To top it off Yemen is running out of water! There is more Al Qaeda there than in Afghanistan, why are we in Afghanistan and not Yemen?

Somalia will be the next war as those Al Qaeda who did not flee the existing wars to help in Yemen have gone to Somalia! Al Qaeda has always been in Yemen but it has now become Al Qaeda central. Their principle targets are Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and the US, allies and allies in this so called war on terror.

The Saudi and Yemen branches of Al Qaeda have joined forces and many outsiders are moving in to join the fight. We must act in kind! Yemen is on the verge of being a failed state as you already know. Yemen is on the Abyss and we must help them for own good! What to do? They have been dealing with terrorism and insurgencies for years! They are not a failed state but well on their way and may be tomorrow! Their attention has been on survival as a country.

As many of you know by now my prime concern in Yemen was the interference by Iran in trying to get Shiite dominance there. Bush freed Iran up to pursue her version of new middle East order by interfering wherever she could while Bush was doing the same thing with his Middle East Democratization program.

The goal now absolutely is to be the country who decides which direction the new Middle East (dis)order will take. Bush started it by attacking Iraq to get into the middle east to destabilize it and start the new middle east order the idiot said God told him to do now it will be up to Iran and Saudi Arabia at least up front fight it out whether this goes the Iranian Shiite way or the Saudi Arabian Sunni way and do not forget Israel!

In Yemen once again the Iranian Revolutionary Guard is the instigator. They are ferrying weapons through Eritrea to Yemen. They are now avoiding the Arabian Peninsula as Saudi Arabia has instituted a blockade along the coast of Yemen. Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has also transported Lebanese Hezbollah fighters to fight with the rebels.

As you know, Saudi Arabia is also there fighting the Iranian backed Houthi rebels. So far there has been no direct confrontation. However I absolutely see what I have been warning about since Bush diverted from Afghanistan to attack Iraq and get back in the middle east to create a new middle east (dis)order! This is going to be total middle east war for a new middle east order like it or not, Sunni against Shiite.

It is looking like Yemen is going to be the first country down! The Middle East is right to be concerned. Yemen is going through severe domestic turmoil due to the violent activities of Al Qaeda, Houthi rebels in the north and the Southern Movement in the south. The remaining Jews are threatened with slaughter by the Shiite. How much longer can Yemen hold on? What is next?

Al Shabab in Somalia and Al Qaeda in Yemen are both reinforced by those fleeing the fight in Iraq, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Somalia is a failed State and Yemen is rapidly headed towards being a failed State. They are perfect havens for Al Qaeda to set up new training camps in lawless regions.

Yemeni Al Qaeda previously sent arms and help to Al Shabab in their fight in Somalia. Al Shabab is reciprocating sending fighters to Yemen to help Yemeni Al Qaeda. Supposedly the so called experts say the three forces operating to destabilize Yemen from the North, South, and East will not join forces but you bet they will! Al Qaeda has been leaving Iraq, Afghanistan, and Mauritania; to use Yemen as their new base we in turn better meet them there with some kind of force. This entire so called terrorism war is barely beginning. This is not a war to end all wars but the war of all wars!

Be very concerned about what is happening in Yemen, Somalia, and the Gulf of Aden, the new front in the so called war on terror!

Bad day(s) and bad times for the Taliban in Pakistan and Afghanistan:

Pakistan's Army Extends Offensive Against Taliban Near Afghanistan Border

Troops moved into the mountains of Kurram Agency, a tribal district that Taliban factions have used as a base, according to Major General Athar Abbas yesterday. Thousands of troops were involved, some flown in by helicopter. Taking control of central areas of Kurram may enable the army to block the last major escape route for militants based in North Waziristan, the country’s biggest remaining guerrilla stronghold where the U.S. has pressed Pakistan to conduct a ground offensive
Three suspected US missile strikes in north-western Pakistan

In less than 12 hours have killed at least 38 alleged militants, an unusually heavy barrage at a time when relations between the two countries are badly strained, Pakistani intelligence officials said. The strikes follow the Obama administration's announcement that it is suspending more than one-third of US military aid to Pakistan until disagreements are worked out. The attacks indicate the White House has no intention of stopping the unmanned drone program, even though the attacks have increasingly caused tension with Pakistan.
At least 45 suspected militants were killed by missiles launched by U.S. drone aircraft in Pakistan's northwest, local intelligence officials said on Tuesday, one of the largest death tolls to date in the controversial air bombing campaign.

Since June more than 135 militants have been killed in the South and North Waziristan lawless areas used by Islamists as a staging area to kill American and NATO forces in Afghanistan along with numerous natives.
Pakistani forces advance in Taliban stronghold

Pakistani security forces backed by gunships and fighter jets Monday advanced on the Taliban stronghold in a tribal region and consolidated positions, military sources said.Hundreds of Pakistani regular and border troops are attacking hideouts of militants in Kurram tribal region to eliminate and expel them, they said."Taliban militants did not show any resistance," a military officer said.
Dozens killed in Afghan fighting:

Afghanistan: Dozens dead after Taliban raid in Nuristan. Provincial Governor Jamaludin Badar told the BBC that 33 border police had been killed in two days of clashes. He said 40 insurgents and five civilians had also died after more than 150 heavily armed insurgents attacked from bases in Chitral in Pakistan.

This is really looking good. Since Obama was elected we have been killing many high and mid level leaders and numerous Taliban fighter. It is looking good and it is looking doable but? I invite you to read this and think about it all!
Obama's General "now General McRaven has the job" but McChrystal was Cheney's chief assassin If nothing else give this a quick read it is mind blowing!

This is a long held plan: The plan is a detailed plan to secure Pakistan's Soviet style mobile nuclear force if it appears they are in danger of falling into the hands of Al Qaeda, the Taliban, or any other "perceived" militants. Key word perceived! American intelligence sources say the operation would be conducted by Joint Special Operations Command, the super-secret commando unit headquartered at Fort Bragg, N.C.

The Taliban think they are getting away with something but they are being watched closely by JSOC ready to pounce and take them out when given the command. I say give it now and save lives. At least for me until a year ago JSOC and what they are doing in Pakistan and Afghanistan had not been divulged. I do not know if it is wise or not but Obama had let this out of the bag too. JSOC is the military's chief terrorists hunting squad and has units now operating in Afghanistan on Pakistan's western border.

A secondary mission is to secure foreign nuclear arsenals. As you know the mission has taken on added importance in recent months, as Islamic extremists have taken territory close to the capital of Islamabad and could destabilize Pakistan's shaky democracy. Pakistan appears to be holding off the Taliban threat thus the threat of the US too feel the need to act on defending their Nukes.

Just in case the US Has Plan to Secure Pakistan Nukes if Country Falls to the Taliban

Because of our secret plans to grab and secure Pakistan's mobile nuclear weapons I long ago came to the conclusion that securing them and the plan along the Afghanistan Pakistan Border to take out the Taliban when given the go ahead is the reason we are hanging around in Afghanistan. That is more than enough reason. Just imagine the peril of the world if Pakistan's nukes fell into the hands of the Taliban and other extremists. The entire world better come together and realize their very being is under threat here and they all must come together and do their share.

While we are decimating the Taliban we are hearing that Al Qaeda is resurging. This is an endless trap and we will be there for decades at a minimum unless we join the graveyard of Nations first. Our troops served magnificently. I just do not know the answer any more because we are looking at the Gulf of Aden opening up right now as the next so called front in the was on terror in this forever war and this is barely beginning. WTF?

UN Reports Steady Rise of Refugees: Just wait, along with the hungry it will get much worse

UN Reports Steady Rise of Refugees: The United Nations refugee agency said Monday that as of last year, 43.7 million people around the globe had been forcibly displaced from their homes by conflict or persecution, the highest number in 15 years. Eighty percent of refugees were being sheltered in the world’s poorest countries, and the agency warned that they could not continue to shoulder the burden alone.

Poor countries bear the brunt of refugees: Four-fifths of the world's 15.4 million refugees are hosted in poor countries, where their prospects for citizenship are slim and economic opportunities are limited, according to a UN report released Monday. More than a quarter are in just three nations: Pakistan, Iran and Syria.

In 2 years we have added more than 8 million to the worlds refugee ranks and along with the hungry it will get much worse: 2 years ago we discussed the 2 million permanent nomads Bush created in his Iraq success and the numbers would get worse as the "success spread throughout the middle east! What about them? What about what we have created in Afghanistan?

Well, it is spreading! 3 years ago I pointed out: The International Committee of the Red Cross, in a report titled "Iraq: No Let-up in the Humanitarian Crisis," writes, "Despite limited improvements in security in some areas, armed violence is still having a disastrous impact. Civilians continue to be killed in the hostilities. "The injured often do not receive adequate medical care. Millions of people have been forced to rely on insufficient supplies of poor-quality water as water and sewage systems suffer from a lack of maintenance and a shortage of engineers."

Both Amnesty and the Red Cross slam the Iraqi government for failing to grapple with the critical needs of their populations. The two reports cite a litany of concerns, including severe widespread poverty, a lack of food and water, and broken families left to scrounge for whatever they can find to get by. Both reports describe a situation that shows no sign of clear improvement. Many women "have been forced to wear Islamic dress or targeted for abduction, rape or killing. That is not to speak of the more than 2 million permanent nomads because of Bush's success.

Millions of Iraqis still don’t have clean water and medical care, thousands are jobless, the government is still dragging its feet on important reforms like an oil sharing law. That was a year ago and I have not heard of any substantial change in the situation Bush created to get in the middle east with the promise of spreading the situation throughout the entire middle east!

Today I woke to hear warnings of a growing refugee crisis in Gaza because of Israel but I first want to say I think it is because of Hamas. According to the United Nations, about 30,000 people are living in schools it sponsors and an estimated 60,000 have fled to the houses of relatives. The figures still represent a small part of Gaza’s 1.5 million population but have doubled and probably quadrupled by now, United Nations officials said, raising concerns about the humanitarian impact of a broader war. While Israel is being criticized Hamas is being commended by Palestine in essence for killing its own people needlessly and creating these refugees!

I was remembering that Tens of thousands of Afghan people have fled their homes in central and southern Afghanistan since the resurgence of the Taliban and the associated flare-up in fighting began in 2006 and it is worsening daily. I never hear them mentioned!

I thought of the Tens of thousands of people who have been killed in Sudan's Darfur region. Over 240,000 fled across the border to Chad. Millions more are homeless. Most are women and children, terrified while the fighting continues.

It made me revisit something I have discussed in the past and the growing refugee crisis around the world as we seek "peace" I am reminded that Nearly 35 million people around the world are uprooted from their homes and communities by persecution and armed conflict. The quest for "peace" is going to be the death of us all.

* God forbid! I would never minimize killing one person, uprooting one person, starting any conflict. Man around the world must learn to live with what they have or we are screwed. You know what that means! In this instance I merely want to point out we have a growing crisis around the world that will get much worse and focusing on Israel "agree with it or not" and the 60,000 refugees in Gaza is commendable but is inconsequential to the rapidly growing numbers around the world as the world fights to gain a foot in a world that very likely will not be able to support them at the very least!

Amnesty International: Death penalty on decline worldwide, you can officially include Illinois. Still the US is in the top 5

It is now official, Illinois has joined the ranks of those outlawing the death penalty!

The last fifteen death row inmates in Illinois will live out their days in jail cells, instead of dying on a execution gurney, now that capital punishment has officially ended in the state. What are your thoughts on that? The ban took effect on Friday, July 1st But the state Department of Corrections began emptying the death row cells in Pontiac in March. The prisoners have been evaluated and moved to other maximum security facilities throughout Illinois, department spokeswoman Stacey Solano said.

Illinois Governor Pat Quinn signed into law a ban on the death penalty on March 9, saying it was impossible to fix a system that had wrongly condemned at least 20 innocent men. Illinois death row inmates moved to regular jail cells

China, Iran, North Korea, Yemen, and the United States lead the world in carrying out the most death sentences. Amnesty International: Death penalty on decline, US in top 5 That's quite the company to be proud of isn't it?

What do you think about the death penalty? My thoughts below;
Thirty-four states, including Virginia and Maryland, allow capital punishment. All use lethal injection, and, until recently, most had used a three-drug cocktail: sodium thiopental to render the condemned unconscious, pancuronium bromide to paralyze the prisoner and potassium chloride to stop the heart. They can no longer get their hands on it. What do you think about the death penalty? My thoughts below

states with the death penalty

Alabama Missouri
Arizona Montana
Arkansas Nebraska
California Nevada
Colorado New Hampshire
Connecticut North Carolina
Delaware Ohio
Florida Oklahoma
Georgia Oregon
Idaho Pennsylvania
Indiana South Carolina
Kansas South Dakota
Kentucky Tennessee
Louisiana Texas
Maryland Utah
Mississippi Virginia
Washington
Wyoming
US military
US Government

States now without the death penalty

Alaska
Hawaii
Illinois
Iowa
Maine
Massachusetts
Michigan
Minnesota
New Jersey
New Mexico
New York
North Dakota
Rhode Island
Vermont
West Virginia

Wisconsin
Dist. of Colombia

If you read my stories in the past on this you know I have mixed feelings on the death penalty. Often times a person may be arrested and sentenced to death knowing they were innocent just to further someone's career or to quell the public. Now that we have DNA testing we are finding too often we have the wrong man. We have seen it too often

I do believe the death penalty is justified as in the case of the Fort Hood shootings and the Jared Loughner shootings where they should be put to death immediately with no trial. They should not have a venue to plead their case. Sane or insane they did it wantonly and publicly, that is all that matters. Cases like those aside I am no longer comfortable with the death penalty being justified because of the horror of the crime because we can not be certain we have the right person unless we actually see them do it.

War is building on our northern and southern Borders by the rest of the world as now Obama doing his instigating!

Something real bad for the US and the world just dawned on me. I did not think much of it yesterday when I discussed the fact that Russia is going to put 2 battalions in the Arctic to defend her interests beyond the obvious build up to war in the Arctic over oil and other resources. Russia's defence minister has said he plans to create two specialist army brigades to be based in the Arctic. The announcement comes days after Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said Russia would strongly defend its interests in the region.

Then I remembered our discussion 3 years ago as to how we were being squeezed from the north and the south while we were off war mongering around the world under Bush. It is only getting worse. I want you to read this as most do not have a clue and put 2 battalions of Russian troops at our doorstep into perspective. The big picture here is not good.

War was building on our northern and southern Borders by the rest of the world as Bush was in their yards doing his instigating. It continues under Obama. 2 stories must be reiterated!

May 4 2008 we discussed: As we watch Bush interfere in every area of the world as he races to instigate world war before his time is up a story I responded to  about whether or not Alaska was going to become the next middle east made me realize many do not realize what is happening in our northern yard and for that matter our southern Backyard as Bush tried to instigate the world to war everywhere he can we are being squeezed from both ends right here in America. I find it necessary to repeat 2 of the many stories I have done on this as many still do not realize how bad it is right here gas and food aside!

This is really bad! First Russia building Venezuela Refineries, China Building Mexican ports, what about the myriad of problems in our own backyard?

I know we have much to be paying attention to and be concerned with around the world. Most of it is due to Bush. However as I have written many times about Chavez's hate for Bush and America and watching their ever growing connections with Iran, China, and Russia, I am becoming increasingly concerned about what is happening right here in our own backyard while our attention seems to be everywhere but in our immediate area.

We have Russia building up to 13 refineries in Venezuela. Very interesting as Iran is experiencing gas shortages and riots as a result of a lack of refineries. Anyway Venezuela has to build four refineries to process heavy crude from fields in the Orinoco Belt and is considering establishing a joint venture with Russia to satisfy these goals, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said during a business conference Friday at the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce.

"Orinoco, where Lukoil is now working, there are demonstrated reserves of 300 billion tons of heavy crude in two new fields," Chavez said. "Therefore we have decided to build four refineries, and in the future, accounting for the interests of countries in the Caribbean region, 13 refineries altogether."

Chavez said that at present, Venezuela is considering establishing a joint venture with Russia in pursuit of these aims. He said that Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru and other South American countries could also found such ventures. they will build a pipeline to Argentina and buy $5 Billion worth of equipment figuring why not Russia?

I have learned through a conversation on the clandestine efforts in creating A North American union that China is funding and clandestinely building ports in Mexico. A friend pointed out to us that Lázaro Cárdenas is home to a deep-water seaport that handles container, dry bulk, and liquid cargo.

The port handled 160,000 TEU in 2005 but is expanding to a capacity of 2.2 million TEU annually. Cargo is moved to and from the port by road and rail equally, with rail service provided exclusively by Kansas City Southern Railway. The port is expected to become a major container facility due to congestion at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach and its relative proximity to major cities such as Chicago, Kansas City, and Houston.

Also our LA and Long Beach ports handle 6.7 million TEU and 3.8 million and they are very congested. Due to a lot of reasons, they can't expand as you can see, the Mexican port is not to replace the US ports, (it couldn't) but to add more ports so we get more crap we don't need from China. Also there are plans for another deep water port in Baja. A Los Angeles firm, fronting for Chinese and Korean concerns, is lobbying the Mexican government to be granted permission to build a $1 billion dollar port in the agricultural area of Punta Colonet, 150 miles south of Tijuana.

The downside is the obvious environmental impact. The LA Times described the intended area as ‘deserted farmland’ This is far from fact. Punta Colonet south San Quintin is one of the most productive agricultural areas in Baja. Its proximity to Hwy. 1 and the US have spurred the growth of large commercial farming in the area. Having anchored in Punta Colonet, it is a beautiful, unspoiled area where orchards and farms run right to the oceans edge. There has been tremendous growth in the region over the last 5 years Meanwhile because of warmonger Bush I don't know if we are a real threat to Venezuela or not but we have Chavez preparing for war.

President Hugo Chavez urged soldiers to prepare for a guerrilla-style war against the United States, saying that Washington is using psychological and economic warfare as part of an unconventional campaign aimed at derailing his government. Declaring that it is not just armed warfare, Under Chavez, Venezuela has recently purchased some $3 billion worth of arms from Russia, including 53 military helicopters, 100,000 Kalashnikov rifles, 24 SU-30 Sukhoi fighter jets. Last week, Chavez said he is considering arms purchases, including submarines and a missile-equipped air defense system, as he prepared for his tour of Russia, Belarus and Iran.

While all this is going on in our own backyard we had a very good discussion on the clandestine efforts to establish a security and Prosperity Partnership known as the North American Union. However there were a couple who said we were crazy. Remember that? It did not fully materialize but just keep watching. I was happy to receive confirmation from Canada and again from one of our members. He said: I wish more left-wingers would recognize this as There's a left-wing organization in Canada ("The Council of Canadians") that has been on top of this for several years now. They call it "Deep Integration" and talk about it as an extension of NAFTA.www.canadians.org/integratethis please read it in its entirety and learn what Canada and Lou Dobbs say

Now even worse than all that! I did a series of 3 stories August 9th, 10th, and 11th, 2007. Feel free to check them out but here is the most critical as to what is happening in our northern yard as the world prepares for the upcoming war future! Anyway, I wanted to discuss that last week when Russia declared that it had successfully planted their flag at the bottom of the Arctic claiming it as Russian territory Russia was disturbed that Canada the US and others dismissed it as a joke saying that is worthless in the 21st Century. Myself I wasn't so sure as it seems like a scary ratcheting up of the race for future resources and world domination. Well attitudes are changing when recent events are taken into account.

IN RECENT weeks it has been noted that Russian nostalgia for past greatness has been seen stretching from the North Pole to the Mediterranean via the Caucasus. First the Russians planted a flag on the bottom of the Arctic. Then they promised to return to the Mediterranean. For good measure, a Russian-made bomb fell (but did not explode) into a vegetable field in Georgia. That the three events came close together may be a coincidence. That they all testify to Russia's new assertiveness is not. Then there are the ongoing threats of re-targeting missiles, and dropping existing arms treaties because of Bush insisting on putting the missile shield in Poland and Czechoslovakia.

The incident in Georgia may be the most serious with Georgia vying to join NATO which would really heat up the region. I am talking about the bomb dropped in Georgia. Of course no one did it and the Georgian's are blaming the Russians while the Russians are blaming the Georgians themselves, of course America has cautiously called the strike a "provocation" and the European Union urged all sides to show restraint.

This latest row with Georgia is not the only source of anxiety for its neighbors. A few days ago Russia's naval commander proposed "to restore its permanent presence" in the Mediterranean, using the Baltic and Black Sea fleets. For years a Russian naval base in Syria has been standing empty. The return of their ships to Syria is a dream of Russia's admirals and a nightmare for Israel, which fears renewed Russian co-operation with Syria.

I heard that Russian ships were off the coast of Syria and one has to be concerned about that knowing what Bush is doing in the middle east. However in my mind Russia's Mediterranean plans pale in comparison with its audacious foray into the Arctic where they collected soil samples and planted the Russian flag two and a half miles below the sea. The official purpose of this first-ever manned mission was "to prove that the North Pole is an extension of the Russian coastal shelf." Geologists say the region could have big oil, gas and mineral reserves.

Knowing that the Artic features prominently in Russian Imperial mythology and the rising desire for Russia to regain prominence as a world power you have to be very concerned about this and Canada now is. Canada's prime minister has begun a three-day trip to the Arctic in an effort to assert sovereignty over the region a week after Russia symbolically staked a claim to the North Pole by sending submarines.

Five countries -- Canada, Russia, the United States, Norway and Denmark -- are competing to secure subsurface rights to the Arctic seabed. One study by the U.S. Geological Survey estimates the Arctic has as much as 25 percent of the world's undiscovered oil and gas. PM Harper, who has pledged to spend billions defending Canada's sovereignty over the Arctic, is expected to announce the location of a planned military deep water port later in the week.

"Economic development -- unleashing the resource-based potential of the North, environmental protection -- protecting the unique Northern environment, national sovereignty -- protecting our land, airspace and territorial waters." Last month, Harper announced that six to eight new patrol ships will be built to guard the Northwest Passage sea route in the Arctic, which the United States insists does not belong to Canada.

U.S. Ambassador David Wilkins has criticized Harper's promise to defend the Arctic, calling the Northwest Passage "neutral waters." This is all very troubling as we watch the ratchetting up of tensions around the world as we try to move into the future. The increased militanism around the world is tenuous but throw all the recent developments in with what is shaping up to be a fight over the Arctic and its resources which will only serve to ecologically destroy another very important part of the Ocean's and world's ecosystem in what is increasingly appearing Russia, Denmark, Norway, claim the arctic challenge Canada and us

Now what do you think about those 2 Battalions of Russian troops being stationed in the Arctic?

The scramble for the Arctic: Russia to station 2 military Brigades in the Arctic: Vladimir Putin said Russia would strongly defend its interests

Russia's defense minister has said he plans to create two specialist army brigades to be based in the Arctic. The announcement comes days after Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said Russia would strongly defend its interests in the region.

Denmark to lay claim to North Pole: DENMARK which already counts Greenland and the Faroe Islands as its Arctic territories, is planning to lay claim to the North Pole. This will put Denmark on a collision course with Russia, the US, Canada and Norway but they all better make a share deal and avoid conflict over this.

I wanted to discuss that in 2007 when Russia declared that it had successfully planted their flag at the bottom of the Arctic claiming it as Russian territory Russia was disturbed that Canada the US and others dismissed it as a joke saying that is worthless in the 21st Century. Myself I wasn't as sure as it seems like a scary ratcheting up of the race for future resources and world domination. Well attitudes are changing when recent events are taken into account. I am sure Denmark's joining this venture will simply be dismissed.

It has been noted that Russian nostalgia for past greatness has been seen stretching from the North Pole to the Mediterranean via the Caucasus. First the Russians planted a flag on the bottom of the Arctic. Then they promised to return to the Mediterranean. .

Russia's Mediterranean plans pale in comparison with its audacious foray into the Arctic where they collected soil samples and planted the Russian flag two and a half miles below the sea. The official purpose of this first-ever manned mission was "to prove that the North Pole is an extension of the Russian coastal shelf." Geologists say the region could have big oil, gas and mineral reserves. Massive oil reserves is more like it!

Knowing that the Arctic features prominently in Russian Imperial mythology and the rising desire for Russia to regain prominence as a world power you have to be very concerned about this and Canada now is. Canada's prime minister went on a three-day trip to the Arctic in an effort to assert sovereignty over the region a week after Russia symbolically staked a claim to the North Pole by sending submarines.

Five countries -- Canada, Russia, the United States, Norway and Denmark -- are competing to secure subsurface rights to the Arctic seabed. One study by the U.S. Geological Survey estimates the Arctic has as much as 25 percent of the world's undiscovered oil and gas. PM Harper, who has pledged to spend billions defending Canada's sovereignty over the Arctic, is said "Economic development -- unleashing the resource-based potential of the North, environmental protection -- protecting the unique Northern environment, national sovereignty -- protecting our land, airspace and territorial waters were his priorities.

" In response to the building interest in the shelf Canada's PM Harper announced that six to eight new patrol ships would be built to guard the Northwest Passage sea route in the Arctic, which the United States insists does not belong to Canada. Canadian PM vowed in 2007 to defend Arctic

U.S. Ambassador David Wilkins had criticized Harper's promise to defend the Arctic, calling the Northwest Passage "neutral waters." This is all very troubling as we watch the ratcheting up of tensions around the world as we try to move into the future. The increased militarism around the world is tenuous but throw all the recent developments in with what is shaping up to be a fight over the Arctic and its resources which will only serve to ecologically destroy another very important part of the Ocean's and world's ecosystem in what is increasingly appearing in trouble.

Denmark's interest and claim is also old. The scramble for the Arctic also gathered pace in 2007 as Denmark prepared to challenge Russia's bid for the North Pole and Canada vowed to defend its "sovereignty" over the region's frozen waters. Boy are they getting desperate! Over the next month they searched for evidence that the Lomonosov Ridge, a 1,200-mile, underwater mountain range running close to the Pole, is a geographical extension of Greenland, a Danish possession. The mission it was felt would strain relations between Denmark and Russia, which claims to have found evidence linking the ridge to Siberia. Both countries will seek adjudication from a United Nations commission in the next few years that could award a large swathe of Arctic territory to the country with the most compelling case. The scramble for the arctic The time is coming closer!

NATO has killed another top Haqqani Commander so Pakistan stopped us from using strategic drone Base

Nato 'kills top Afghan militant': BBC correspondents say he is a leading commander in the Haqqani network, which is linked to the Taliban and al-Qaeda.

Pakistan ends U.S. use of base for drones: Pakistan has stopped the United States from using an air base in the southwest of the country to launch drone strikes against militant groups , the defense minister was quoted as saying, as ties remain strained between the two countries. Pakistan has long publicly opposed the ...

Since President Barack Obama took office in 2009, the number of Predator attacks from Shamsi has accelerated, resulting in the deaths of 20 of the 30 most wanted Al-Qaeda leaders hiding in Pakistan's tribal northwest. That is why we are being kicked off the shamsi air base and not because we killed Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan as our so called leaders surmise!

American drones more routinely target Taliban and Al-Qaeda militants in the neighboring North Waziristan district, where Pakistan has been accused of giving the Haqqani leadership and its 4,000 fighters a de facto safe haven. You mean they have refused to attack there because some in the ISI are complicit with them and other so called Islamists.

Washington has called Pakistan's semi-autonomous northwest tribal region the global headquarters of Al-Qaeda, where Taliban and other Al-Qaeda-linked networks need to be defeated if the 10-year war in Afghanistan is ever to end. FFF'ing A if you want it done and if you want it done right do it yourself period!

Two separate US drone strikes destroyed a vehicle travelling through the Kharh Dhand area of Kurram, which borders Afghanistan's eastern province of Paktia. Then minutes later, a nearby compound was hit, local officials said. Pakistani security officials said six Afghan militants were killed. Makes you wonder how they knew about it so quick doesn't it?

"All those killed in both strikes were Afghan fighters and were Haqqani's men," a Pakistani official told AFP, adding that the Haqqani militants had been hiding out in the surrounding mountains for "several months". We are really on the tail of the Haqqani network as you know. Pakistan just continues to prove they are complicit with the Haqqani's, Al Qaeda, and the Taliban in the actions they have increasingly taken since we killed UBL not because we embarrassed them but because we are closing in on and killing their friends. Kicking us off Shamsi airbase will make it more difficult but we will get them.

Nine Myths And Misconceptions About Money That Can Literally Kill You

This was sent to me with no Author by someone more than in the know but I will leave that alone.Read it and weep, I am wanting to say every expletive in the world as once you hear this it makes 100% common sense and we are powerless? I do not know who the Author is but this is frightening, sobering, debilitating, and frustrating, what do we do about it? Pay particular attention to all of it, Google whatever you want. Man am I peeved with this set up they call a Democracy. SOB!

1) If we paid off our debts, our problems would be solved. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. The banks wrote the Federal Reserve Act in secret. They said you would not be allowed to have money unless you first went into debt. In fact when you pay off a loan, the bank cancels money supply. So if we all paid off our debts including the government debt, we would have no money and the economy would collapse. We would all be reduced to barter.

2) The bankers who wrote The Federal Reserve Act in 1913 knowingly engineered a Fatal Debt Bomb into the legislation. This is true. When you go to a bank to get a loan, the banker created ten thousand dollars in new money by entering that amount onto a checking account. Notice that if you signed a note for simple interest at 10%, you will owe the banker $11,000 in one year’s time. He only created $10,000 so how do you pay him back the principal plus interest? Good question. What he does is to create more money through more loans so there is enough money to pay the note plus interest.

This means that the total amount of debts in the society are growing at a compound rate. Bankers have known since the Babylonians that unchecked exponential growth of unplayable debts will destroy any nation with a Debt Bomb. This is what is happening to America and the world today. Michael Hudson wrote about the Babylonian solution. They developed a formula that told them how long this rising tide of Unpayable Debt could grow before they had to cancel all the debts and start over again.

Let me repeat that the bankers have known this for over 4,000 years. But they have made sure that you know nothing of it because they want to foreclose on you and your nation so they can but everything for pennies on the dollar in bankruptcy proceedings.

The Russian demographer Borisov tells us that the bankers starved millions of Americans to death in the 1930s rather than allow people to understand the Babylonian solution. The Bible writers copied this concept when they wrote of the Jubilee cancellation of debt.

3) The Federal Reserve Act was written to transfer wealth from us to the bankers through the creation of a Debt Based money system. This is true. President Lincoln had created Greenbacks without borrowing money from the banks so there was no national debt and no interest on the debt. Lincoln simply printed the money and spent it into circulation.

There is absolutely no reason to have a national debt except to collect interest on a fictional debt. Why give the power to create money to the banks when government alone according to the Constitution is supposed to coin money? I will tell you why. The banks want to bring back slavery. They want you to become an indentured servant who inherits a national debt that is unpayable. They want to reduce you to slavery,

Any politician or pundit who does not understand this is either stupid or lying.

I should point out that President Kennedy issued Executive Order 11110 which directed the Mint to issue US Banknotes to replace Federal Reserve Notes. These JFK Banknotes were to be debt free as were Lincoln’s Greenbacks. They were withdrawn from circulation after his assassination. JFK was murdered on the 53rd anniversary of the secret meeting of the bankers on November 22nd, 1910 in a private rail-car that took them to Jekyll’s Island. Bankers like to do things on the anniversary of an important date to make sure you understand that monetary reform carries a death penalty.

4) All we have to do to solve our economic woes is to balance the budget. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. All those knuckleheads need to listen and learn. The Gross National Product is the total sales of a country. Economists write it as a formula Where GNP = C + I + G or GNP equals Consumption plus Investment plus Government spending. The total GNP is currently 14 trillion dollars. Suppose we balance the budget by cutting spending two trillion dollars. That would mean we subtract two trillion from G and our new GNP is reduced to 12 trillion dollars which means that one seventh of the American economy would disappear overnight. That would send us instantly into a worse economic blight than the first Great Depression. Currently the states owe the federal government almost 100 billion dollars for extended unemployment benefits.

A man was recently explaining to his young daughter that we have no bread lines like they did in the 1930s because we have almost 49 million people on Food Stamps. Suppose we cut off unemployment extended benefits and Food stamps to make a down payment on that two trillion dollar budget cut. America would have nationwide food riots. 90% of all black children are on Food Stamps. I do not know the figures for Hispanics. But there would be no grocery stores in major cities that would not escape the riots.

If you hear someone talking of cuts, tell them to eliminate Unpayable Debts and interest on the national debt by bringing back non-interest bearing debt free Greenbacks. Then they can cut out the five foreign wars and remove our troops from at least 100 foreign nations. Then they can seize the assets of the banks that stole over 27 trillion dollars from us during the Banker Bailouts.

5) Fiat currencies always fail. What we need is a gold standard. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Presidents Lincoln and Kennedy had fiat currencies that were successful. And only ended with their assassination. The Isle of Guernsey and the American colonies both had fiat currencies that were successful.

The Italians had a gold currency that failed in 1348. The bankers loaned out more money than they had on deposit. This is called fractional reserve banking. Usually a bank will loan out nine times what it has on deposit. The Italian banks in Venice were unable to meet demands for gold from their depositors.

Currently, the risk manager at JP Morgan has two thousand dollars in risk for every dollar in deposits. I think this is an underestimate.

6) America could go onto the gold standard because we have all that gold at Fort Knox. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. America has gold plated tungsten bars at Fort Knox. And the banks leased our gold and sold it four or five times to keep themselves from going bankrupt.

The gold was stolen by the Rothschild s and their friends. If we went back to the gold standard, we would be entering slavery to the Rothschild network because they would have all the gold money. The Rothschild s financed the Jewish trade in African slaves. Ask a black man how well that Rothschild slavery worked out for him.

I personally own silver because I expect this fractional reserve debt based monetary scheme to collapse very soon. I would use a gold exchange standard to get things going. But I could manage a monetary system with Greenbacks if Zionists and morons on welfare were not allowed to vote.

7) All we need to do to balance our trade deficit is to cut wages by devaluing the dollar so we can become more competitive. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Steve Keen is an Australian economist who says we need to increase wages so debts become payable. Unpayable debts lead directly to slavery. The US dollar eleven years ago was worth $1.20 when measured against a basket of six currencies. Today the US dollar is worth almost 75 cents. This has not created one job in the past decade. What it has done was raise the price of oil so everything costs more to produce.

In China factory workers are lucky to make a dollar an hour. They work 72 hours a week. They get no overtime and have no benefits. The Chinese workers do not make enough money to ride those Mag Lev fast rail trains you have read about. Suppose we cut American wages in half? Would that create jobs? No. We have been cutting wages since 1970 and we have fewer jobs today than then. It never worked in the past. No reason to believe it will work now.

To make the debts easier to pay we need to raise wages. To do that we have to stop issuing a million Green card work permits for legal immigrants. And we need to send back a few million illegal immigrants to open jobs for millions of unemployed Americans. But to create jobs we need new industries. We need to protect those industries with a 25% tariff. We need to create new jobs in computers, materials science, bio-engineering, aviation and energy by releasing the Top Secret research that is held in government labs. We could collect royalties from American industries employing American citizens. We could lease these patents to foreign competitors but we need a tariff to protect American jobs.

We made America prosperous by repealing the Glass Steagall Act and by allowing Credit Default Swaps to remain unregulated. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. The bankers passed NAFTA and the WTO in 1994 so they could send 11 million jobs and 43,000 manufacturing plants overseas. They created the illusion of prosperity under Clinton by pumping up real estate and the stock market. The stock market was deliberately crashed in 2000 so the Zionists could elect George W Bush President because they wanted lots of wars for Israel. When the stock market failed, the Zionists created the subprime lending bubble on top of the already existing housing bubble. They loaned money to people who had no means of paying the loans. That did not matter. Some mortgages were sold as many as five times in Mortgage Backed Securities. When these loans failed, the banks collected on their Credit Default Swap insurance. There were no reserves set aside to pay losses. That did not matter. The bankers had the taxpayers pay out 27 trillion dollars in Bailouts to cover their frauds and keep the banking criminals out of jail. When the Europeans threatened a run on the American banks if they were not compensate for the trash Wall Street sold them, Ben Bernanke created 12.3 trillion dollars in new money and use it to but 6.3 trillion dollars in fraudulent bonds.

Glass Steagall was passed in 1933 and forbade investment banks from becoming commercial banks so the depositors are not exposed to speculative risks. With the repeal of Glass Steagall Jamie Dimon at JP Morgan was allowed to sell 80 trillion dollars in Credit Default Swaps betting that interest rates will not go up. If interest rates do go up, there will be worldwide Depression. Jamie Dimon isn’t worried about it because he probably knows when the Zionists will start World War III.

This is not a free market. It is criminality on a grand scale.

9) We have a moral obligation to pay our national debt. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.

Jim Willie pointed out to Max Keiser that in the 1990s under beloved leaders Bill Clinton and George H W Bush the Treasury sold 2.2 trillion dollars more in Treasury bonds than were required to fund the deficit. That money was pocketed by the banks who now expect you to pay them back for the money they stole plus the interest. Catherine Austin Fitts has been telling us for years that the government allows the banks to steal billions of dollars every week from government spending which we are not allowed to audit.

We owe the banks nothing. We need to take back what they have stolen.

I also need to make this point about money creation. When a bank makes a loan, they are creating money by adding credits to a bank account. They are not lending you Mrs. Jones life savings. What they are doing is creating money. Money is a claim against our right to purchase goods and services. If we increase the money supply, then we are all in a sense bearing a burden by the diminished purchasing power of our money. But only bankers are allowed to participate in the benefits of granting a loan. I don’t think so. Cancel the debts and seize all of the banker’s wealth. And that of their co-conspirators. We ought not to suffer because the bankers killed our Presidents.

Philippines-US stage naval drills followed by Vietnam designed to warn belligerent China

Despite warnings from China to stay out of the disputes we will not and cannot because of our connections to the countries involved at the very least.

Philippines-US stage naval drills: The Philippines and the US have begun 11 days of joint naval exercises amid growing tensions with Beijing over disputed waters in the South China Sea.

China on Wednesday reiterated that it has “indisputable sovereignty” over islands in the South China Sea after the United States pledged to help the Philippines, which has its own claims in the area.
Vietnam and the United States are to hold joint naval activities next month but they were long-planned and are unconnected to regional tensions in the South China Sea, the US Navy said Thursday.

This has been ratcheting up for months ever since the incident between China and the Japanese fishing boat. Despite assurances from some not to worry I am over reacting. It is going to erupt because of the huge amount of gas, oil, and other resources around the Paracel islands dispute and the Spratly's. Battle of Spratly Islands

In recent weeks, Vietnam, the Philippines and Japan and more have all voiced concerns or made formal complaints over Chinese nautical movements.

We must maintain as much of the old world balance and order as we can to maintain a balance as we try to move progressively and successfully through the 21st century! I know of China and Japan's past, I know of the still ongoing Island disputes, the disagreement over natural gas and oil in another area of the East China Sea, I also remember that with China's economic clout rising she took the number 3 seat on the world bank and we talk constantly that China is taking the leading role in Asia and Asia relations.

Being in a superior position puts one in a unique position of power and that power must be handled gracefully, with humility, responsibly, and not abused. That is something I taught all my sons and America under Bush did a lousy job of handling.

I am a little worried that China too is getting a little too heavy handed and abusive with her new position of power and beginning to take what she wants instead of being content with what she has which is what I constantly lecture has to be the case if we are to have a future. The time when man and the planet could handle war and colonialism is over, period or else!

We are Taiwan's, the Philippines, and Japan's protectors and now Vietnam's. Vietnam is no real threat to China so what is up here? As China flex's their military muscles in the area we are not supposed to worry. Just what are we supposed to think they are going to do with their advanced weaponry, missiles, stealth aircraft, aircraft carriers and the like.

Their threats are going to become more ominous until they cannot be ignored and it is too late. We have been here before. The world was not supposed to worry as Hitler built his arsenal and we know how that turned out.

Taliban leader Fazal Saeed Haqqani quitting but to kill Americans not civilians. It's a start

Pakistan's ISI has a 'relationship' with the Haqqani Network but it has begun to unravel

Fazal Saeed Haqqani, reported leader of a faction of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) near the Afghan border, told two Western news outlets he was quitting because he disagreed with the TTP's use of suicide attacks against civilians. The key now is to get Fazel and his hundreds of fighters to turn against the factions who are killing his fellow citizens the very people they are supposed to be fighting for.

Buried bombs take increasingly deadly toll on Afghan civilians

US missiles killed six Afghan fighters from the Al-Qaeda-linked Haqqani network in Pakistan's tribal district of Kurram in two strikes just minutes apart on Monday, security officials said.

Nato 'kills top Afghan militant': BBC correspondents say he is a leading commander in the Haqqani network, which is linked to the Taliban and al-Qaeda.

We are tightening the noose around the Haqqani's with or without the help of Pakistan. They no longer have a safe haven and if they really care about the citizens then take a break from killing Americans long enough to kill the Tehrik-e-Taliban that are killing their people long enough for us to leave.

I told you after Osama Bin Laden was killed that taking down the Haqqani network was more important than Killing Osama Bin Laden to Afghanistan and the war. With the death of Osama Bin Laden we were asked what his death would mean for the war in Afghanistan. Like the so called war on terror which includes the Taliban, Al Qaeda of every creed, and extremists of every ilk looking to carry on Osama's vendetta against the west, it will serve to fuel their cause. His death should mean just the opposite and it does to all true Muslims.

UBL "Osama Bin Laden, betrayed Islam! That said, I Googled the question of what Bin Laden's death meant to the war in Afghanistan. I did not even bother looking at the myriad of opinions because we already know the answer and my concern is someone who in reality is much more important to the war in Afghanistan but you can see the answer to what UBL's death means to the war in Afghanistan Here

NATO Nabs Haqqani Militant Leader in Afghanistan: A NATO statement said the militant is a local chief of the powerful Haqqani network, which is based in neighboring Pakistan's tribal belt. The group is a branch of the Afghan Taliban and a major enemy of U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan. It's led by Jalaluddin Haqqani and his son Sirajuddin.

I tried to find out to no avail which Haqqani commander was caught and exactly where and by who but to no avail. The information has not been made public yet. In searching though I found them to be known rapists and murderers and of course not true Muslims or faithful followers of Muhammad and true Islam. Some of the Haqqani's and commanders have even been captured and held after traveling to Saudi Arabia for the haj and gathering donations for their cause. That search is Here

The Haqqani's and their legendary stature are holding the so called terrorists force together. Their stature is legendary and hard earned.
The Haqqani network and their increasingly foreign fighters have become the main focus after 9 years of fighting. The Haqqani Network's North Waziristan leadership -- usually called the Miram Shah Shura consists of a number of Haqqani family members and closely associated long-serving commanders.

At the top of the network is Sirajuddin Haqqani, who oversees the group's political and military activities and is the main liaison to the Mullah Muhammad Omar led Quetta Shura Taliban, the Taliban's leadership body (named for the capital of Pakistan's Baluchistan province). He is also one of the network's liaisons to Pakistani Taliban figures and al-Qaeda.

He travels regularly into Afghanistan to coordinate with field commanders and occasionally to Peshawar and South Waziristan to connect with militants there. Remember Bowe Bergdahl? There are many field commanders in Afghanistan, but turnover is high because many get killed or captured. The most prominent is Mullah Sangin, who is believed to be holding Pfc. Bowe Bergdahl a captured U.S. soldier and Zakim Shah the movement's shadow governor of Khost province. Inside the Haqqani network

Jalaluddin Haqqani legendary leader who fought the Soviets and his son, Sirajuddin who directs operations are increasingly the targets of drones and now manned NATO aircraft in Pakistan as the Pakistani's have been leery to go in the area for whatever reason. Many are being killed, I heard over 80 in a week with no civilian casualties.

I wish we would quickly kill the Haqqani's, both Jalaluddin and Sirajuddin either that or give them all the option to jumpship on those killing civilians just long enough to let us leave as we will "I hope"

NATO's real plan for Libya plus real alternatives Gaddafi will ignore as he looks for guarantee's

Qaddafi Seeks Security Guarantees to Relinquish Rule, Russian Envoy Says: “Qaddafi will be interested in getting guarantees about his personal security,”

Moammar Khadafy to NATO: Leave Libya alone or we'll attack Europe like 'locusts'

Kaddafi urges supporters to recover arms France gave rebels

Libya's rebel chief told Reuters on Sunday Muammar Gaddafi was welcome to retire on Libyan soil as long as he resigns formally and agrees to international supervision of his movements. Libyan rebels and their Western allies have rejected any solution to the conflict that does not include Gaddafi's resignation, saying he must quit before any peace talks can begin.Gaddafi has fiercely resisted all international calls on him to go, vowing to fight to the end. I have not heard anything yet but this should be acceptable by everyone but Gaddafi.

The Transitional National Council said it was the first time the AU had recognized the people's aspirations for democracy and human rights in Libya. The talks offer was agreed at an AU summit in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea. The AU also told members not to execute an arrest warrant for Col Gaddafi from the International Criminal Court (ICC). Once again I have not heard anything yet but this should be acceptable by everyone but Gaddafi. With a hybrid of the two plans I believe we can make a deal is Gaddafi was looking for a deal but there is no way in hell he is.

Nato's real plan for Libya: Whose side are they really on?

Leaders of Libya’s rebel forces say they are ready to launch an offensive toward Tripoli, the capital city controlled by embattled leader Muammar Qaddafi, from an enclave southwest of the capital. The announcement came after NATO intensified air strikes in the west of the country and as the African Union (AU) put forward a plan for peace negotiations and urged its member states not to honor an International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant for Colonel Qaddafi.

The rebels are doing their damnedest with the help of increased NATO attacks to persuade Gaddafi to take an offer to leave but once again there is no way in hell he is going to. I was listening to Saif on CNN and he is more defiant than ever, they are going nowhere.

Whatever happens we have to get out of there and let the rebels now see if they can do this themselves. They now have the weapons they kept saying they needed. If we want to kill Gaddafi as I heard John McCain said was the goal and a must if NATO was to survive we must use bunker busters and do it in a mass attack of every site he may be at whether he is shielded by civilians or not. If they are stupid enough to be around Gaddafi they have made themselves targets.

I just want to end our commitment and head home where we should be. We have enough to do and Yemen and the Gulf of Aden the next front in the so called war on terror are heating up as we speak and getting ready to explode.

Women are now volunteering to fight for Gaddafi, they "the forces loyal to Gaddafi" are not going to relent period. We can not get any deeper than we are so I am happy to see the rebels making gains but leery with Gaddafi forces encroaching on Tunisia and attempting to widen this war or whatever you want to call it.

Gaddafi and his son Saif will never leave their Libya while they are alive so fulfill Gaddafi and Saif's desire to die on Libyan soil though the rebels do not want that as originally said they do not want Libyan soil polluted but at any rate that would barely be a start to the cleansing that will be necessary but by the rebels not us. So sad especially when you look at the large picture of our future.

Iran slams US at anti- terrorism conference for killing citizens: what about the innocents his fellow Islamists puposely murder? What's Iran up to?

Iran slams US at anti- terrorism conference on fighting terrorism Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei lashes out at the U.S. for drone strikes in Afghanistan and Pakistan that have resulted in civilian deaths, saying it has 'a black record in terrorist behavior.' I wonder why he failed to mention the thousands of innocent men women and children his fellow islamists have murdered on purpose?

Mullah Omar orders Taliban to attack civilians, Afghan women

The Taliban is behind 85% of civilian casualties

Iran Woos US Allies as Troops Withdraw From Region

Those of you that follow me know going after Iran is why Bush lied to get to attack Iraq and get back into the Middle East. Iran is helping Syria, us helping the protesters is exactly what Iran wants so they can bring out in the open the war against the United States.

I have to reiterate something I have said too many times since Bush chose to ignore all warnings of total civil war spreading throughout the entire Middle East so he could attack Iraq and straighten out the Middle East as God spoke to him and instructed him to. You know I firmly believe and have said so a million times by now that since 9/11 everything was construed to allow Bush to gain the power he needed to prosecute his new order not just in the Middle East but on the entire world! He diverted from Afghanistan to get back into the Middle East with the goal of setting up a larger safety zone for Israel and going after Iran. As expected this democratization started by Bush has taken on a life of its own.

I still see a total civil war Sunni against Shiite erupting in the Middle East because Bush freed up Iran to instigate it on their end and they are. I still am concerned we will have a permanent presence in the Middle East but feel we will have to largely leave Iraq to her own demise. We will still be there but it looks like Yemen, and the Gulf of Aden will be the prime focus unless Iran gets something going between the US and Iran.

Saddam Hussein with his lies about possessing WMD kept Iran in check. Bush freed Iran up to pursue her version of new middle East order by interfering wherever she could while Bush was doing the same thing with his Middle East Democratization program. I think you can see how successful Bush and Cheney were with their chaos creating Middle East Democracy program but you are barely seeing the results they created in Iran.

The goal absolutely is to be the country who decides which direction the new Middle East (dis)order will take.

Both will fail! It has long been my contention that coming to Israel's aid once they attack Iran will be our in to Iran!

The entire middle east and north Africa and our more than century of interference and exploitation can take the blame for that too. Planting our military in the middle of the mess Bush has created out of the Middle East because of his failed Democratization program is going to be a Custer's Last Stand on a grand scale if we are still there when this breaks open! Looking at the war cabinet Obama has amassed I am going to say at this point that this is going to happen even under a President Obama.

Iran is going to do everything she can to minimize those against her instigation towards dominance in the middle east. We can only hope we keep it from erupting into WW3.

A couple recent discoveries and listen to the Boston Pops: Happy Fourth of July

Boston Pops last 4 minutes of the 1812 Overture. Wow!

Boston Pops Fourth of July Stars and Stripes Forever!

Boston Pops Fourth of July fireworks Finale! Phenomenal!

After nearly three years of excavation, archaeologists confirmed the discovery of the site of George Washington's boyhood home near the banks of the Rappahannock River in northeast Virginia. Archaeologists found remains of Washington's boyhood home

Then to celebrate it A rare and original manuscript of one of America's most patriotic songs has been discovered in a flea market bargain. A shopper browsing through the market in New York bought a framed picture of a flower for $10 and found handwritten manuscript of "America" (My Country 'tis of Thee) tucked behind the picture, the manuscript's owner said Thursday.

The manuscript of the song whose lyrics were written by Samuel Francis Smith in 1831 could be worth tens of thousands of dollars, said the owner, art collector Keya Morgan. He said he bought it from the flea market shopper, who has asked not to be identified. The song was intended to be played in schools to inspire and teach children and was first played in public on July 4, 1831, in the First Baptist Church in Newton, Massachusetts, Morgan said. The song is written to the tune of "God Save the Queen," the national anthem of the United Kingdom. Rare song manuscript found in flea market

I am trying to lighten up today as one of my sons is here with the grandchildren and we are going to have a little get together so I am squeezing this in! It is primarily a scorcher today in Western Massachusetts but I will try to cook on the grill in celebration of the day. I hope you all can do the same. Have a nice Fourth of July and God Bless America!

Syrians flee to Turkey as troops amass on border, Syrian forces also sweep towards Lebanon border, what is Iran up to?

Syrians flee to Turkey as troops amass on border: Hundreds of Syrian refugees fled across the border into Turkey on Thursday to escape an assault on border regions in an escalating military campaign to punish popular dissent against President Bashar Assad, witnesses said.

Turkish and Syrian forces in tense cross-border standoff

Syrian forces sweep towards Lebanon border: Syrian troops pushed towards the Lebanese border on Sunday as they pressed on with a deadly crackdown on dissent in central towns, where gunfire rattled overnight, activists said.

To justify Iran and Syria slaughtering the people: Syrian general: 1,300 soldiers killed Syria's military spokesman says: 1,300 members of security forces have been killed in the months-long unrest that has taken hold in the country, a charge that came as videos surfaced allegedly showing children killed in the violence. Cut the BS! They are justifying slaughter men women and children who only want freedom and democracy but what else are they up to encroaching on Lebanon and amassing on Turkey's border?

I know the protesters vowed not to be deterred stating they will break the Government period but there is no way. The Syrian Government will kill and arrest who they have too. Iran will accept nothing less and they "the IRG" are in charge!

I remember the Syrian opposition saying that they would not stop and would ultimately defeat the Government saying Democratic transition would safeguard Syria from violence. As outsiders looking in we know nothing could be further from the truth. People are being imprisoned and murdered and I can not see that stopping until the Democracy movement is crushed. Supposedly this expected situation is begging for us to get involved but we damn well better not. Unless that is going to war with Iran is the goal.

Those of you that follow me know going after Iran is why Bush lied to get to attack Iraq and get back into the Middle East. Iran is helping Syria, us helping the protesters is exactly what Iran wants so they can bring out in the open the war against the United States.

He diverted from Afghanistan to get back into the Middle East with the goal of setting up a larger safety zone for Israel and going after Iran.

Actually Russia, China and Lebanon have blocked a move for the UN Security Council to condemn Syria's crackdown on dissent. Sanctioning slaughter is more like it! I wonder how Lebanon feels now?

You have to be very concerned about what is happening in Syria especially. Iran is not going to allow Syria to fall to Democracy,Iran is in Syria helping Bashar Assad. What we saw after the voter fraud in Iran was mild compared to what the IRG will do if this movement spreads to Iran. I really wish Bashar would step down but Iran is the elephant in the room any way you look at it. The total middle east breakdown we have written about numerous times is well under way. We can only hope we keep it from erupting into WW3.
