Bush is pissed he may be forced to spend part of his credit market bailout that he can give away without saying to who. This screwing is just beginning!jmsjoinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17631105639275375922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15216381.post-55157640965829583172008-12-12T16:23:00.000-08:002008-12-12T16:23:00.000-08:00Hi Monique Freezes, wage cuts, bailouts, tax ref...Hi Monique
Freezes, wage cuts, bailouts, tax refunds, it is all worthless. I know most get mad but this is still just starting and the timing is no coincidence! Sorry it is hitting home and I hope you guys are fine. I will be home in 4 or 5 days and get back to normal. Hold on and take care!jmsjoinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17631105639275375922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15216381.post-68143557649338993852008-12-12T12:50:00.000-08:002008-12-12T12:50:00.000-08:00Reid's comment about dreading to look at the Wall ...Reid's comment about dreading to look at the Wall Street numbers is interesting. It describes the fact that he really sees Wall Street as the principal barometer for how the economy is doing, and that Wall Street is somehow the judge of the highest U.S. politicians.

Considering the fact that Wall Street investors play around with billions of dollars, placing bets on crap that's been made to look like gold, and considering the fact that many of the brokers don't even have a college degree, I don't understand why so much emphasis is put on these guys.

Also, many, if not most, of them have placed bets on GM going under via credit default swaps, so if the bailout would have passed, the stock market could very well have gone down. In other words, if GM and Chrysler survive, a lot of Wall Street investors are going to LOSE money.Jacobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14563739841535780915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15216381.post-78745248993848427662008-12-12T10:57:00.000-08:002008-12-12T10:57:00.000-08:00Still learning. It is low for workers as it is and to cut it would only feed the recession. That's as much I do know.

In our small town three shops are closing down. Food is very cheap, at the moment. Shopping centers are jam packed with shoppers because everything is half price.

I think it's all a very bad omen.

lolMiddle Ditchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16493665280732775898noreply@blogger.com
